Jennie and Lisa are both different rappers, I feel like Jennie's technique and fluency in both Korean and English allow her to be faster, and her delivery is more laid back, you see? like she's a queen sitting on a tank, on a throne (DDDD) or walking a runway (Pink Venom) because she CAN. On the other hand, Lisa is more about swag and delivery, just look at her go, since she's born a dancer, she freestyles a lot while rapping showed in Pink venom and here, her hand gestures and facial expressions are always so bad ass!! This is why I prefer this new rap distribution since Lovesick girls, I like that both of them get to rap in the title track, they are better when they are a duo. Jenlisa fire 🔥

The whole video is a hidden message. They recreate scenes from their old videos and shut the garage doors on them. The garage has all these rooms filled with their old songs and they shut it down and switch the lights off. At the end they jump in an elevator going up and arrive in a whole new garage with more rooms to fill.

Jen's voice is full of power. When she raps, it sounds classy and cool. really top notch

All of the visuals before they go up in the elevator are throwbacks to past videos, Rosé at 05:48 is "Whistle" for example, but they are all past videos. The idea is that they're putting their past into storage and moving on up.

all of these scenes are from their past videos and some of the shots are shot similar - the garage they are in is the past (old videos) and they are shutting the door on them and moving up to the next level of videos and music

Yo! The whole "Shutdown" MV was referencing their past songs. The message of the song is that they are now entering into a new era ready to shutdown all the people that doubts them. A separate video per song would be better imo.
