First voice line belong to Kindred. Long story short: they are death. Lamb's arrow giving an easy peaceful death, wolf is painfully taking those who refuse. Morgana and Kayle shown in the past, ancient Demacia, when they were protecting people together. Silhouette of the Lamb visible in the flames when Aatrox defeated by sisters. Yasuo is in the future, forced to use power of wind (which never resulted anything good in his life) and a sword to protect the innocent. Notice, that he didn't took any life during the fight. In the end you can see wolf's eyes in the shadows on the horizon, when the arrows falling down. Yas closes his eyes and we see Lamb's arrow flying towards him. Tryn and Ashe (his wife who saved him) - present. He refuses to die (his ultimate ability in game let him to do so for some amount of time), As he was saved, Lamb put down her bow, so his time to die is yet to come, not today. And Kindred are "still here".

Except aatrox cant die. So thats why its simply a silhouette of Lamb. Aatrox desperately wants to, but because he is darkin he can't, which is why you only see lamb and not wolf. Also, in the scene with kindred and tryn, its thought that at the same time tryn is fighting kindred hes fighting off the other soldiers. There were 6 surrounding him, and he hits wolf 4 times, with ashe killing the last two.

@@gamerwolf8831yes, aatrox him self cant die, but we are talking about the sword. His body is a vessel that he posses to carry the sword. He is switching his host, because most of them cant hadle the power and the host dies after some time. So we can assume that kindred came for the host not for the aatrox him self. Also you can see the sword dropping and the body disappearing, when kayle used her flames.

It isn't like a heart, it literally IS a heart, the sword is Aatrox, it is living and sentient, the body is just a manifestation of him as he controls the host of the sword, kind of like Venom and All Black the Necrosword from Marvel. Great reaction by the way, Knox.

As soon as I heard the opening line and new it was Kindred, I knew it was gonna be good. Probably someone already said this, but Kindred is present in every single fight -- "I'm still here" is as much an affirmation of being alive as it is an affirmation of Death (Kindred) being around the corner, waiting. By far, this is my favorite of their cinematics to date.

for context. Tryndamere's ult is undying fury, a gift given to him by aatrox when he was impaled by his blade in battle. so the fight with kindred was actually him fighting those soldiers that were around him at the beginning while also fighting kindred in the death realm. And kindred cocks her head at him because she's actually intrigued by tryndamere's will to not die

The three stories are all tied to Kindred (wolf and lamb). They are like the embodiment of death in league, Lamb (the character with the bow and mask) represents the acceptance of death and Wolf represents the violent struggle against it. The song is Kindred reminding you that they are still there, death is never far away. (and they will always be there, in the past, the present and the future as you can see is also a theme in this video) (It's Kinded you see in the distance behind Tryndamere in the first scene) In the scene with Kayle and Morgana (Daughters to the aspect of justice, kinda celestial beeings) fighting Aatrox (a darkin) you can see Kindred in the fire at the end of the scene. (They are probably there for Aatrox's host/body since Aatrox is acctually the sword, could also be the army behind Aatrox, since we know that the three main characters are still alive since this is an event from the past) The scene with Yasuo (in a future vision) You can in the tree line see Wolf's eyes, but since Yasuo accepted his death Lamb's arrow is the one that took him out. And lastly Tryndamere at the end defies both Wolf and Lamb, fighting against death, with Lamb then lowering her bow at the end as he is saved by Ashe (his wife). And also see how it implied that he's the only one seeing wolf and lamb as this fight happens since he is on the brink of death, litterally staring death into it's eyes, and he's acctually in another fight against other humans that you can see Ashe shoot at the end to save him, and you see Kindred dissapear since he is no longer "supposed to die". (Tryndameres ultimate in game is that he kinda gets too angry to die, which is basically whats shown here, but from his perspective.) "Tomorrow is a hope, never a promise" - Kindred

@@LunatiqHigh i dont really know the old Aatrox lore if thats what you mean?😅But Tryndameres lore with Aatrox is still canon as far as i know, its just that we now know that every time he's on the brink of death but not dying bc of ability of the darkin blood magic, he have to fight Kindred. Bc he is still "supposed to die" (but he isnt bc he cant) Kindred will be there. (sry if i got anything you meant wrong)

I pulled up the video before watching this, and even then, it brought tears to my eyes. The whole message of "I'm still here," along with the theme of pushing through adversity is very significant to me. I've been through a lot over the last few years. Over the last decade, honestly (though, it was one of those 'if you put a lobster in a pot of cold water and raise the temperature, they won't notice until it is too late' kind of decades). But I've survived it and I'm moving on from all of that, and in the last year, as I've been focusing on rebuilding myself, this whole message of "I may be beaten down and tired, but I am still here despite all of that" is very much frontmost in my brain. But, apparently, this one is a fully canon cinematic from League, and it is filled to the brim with lore deep cuts. I actually watched a video from Necrit going over the lore in it. I knew... next to none of the lore going into this, but one thing is that the character with the round glowing eyes and the wolf are, fundamentally, this world's embodiment of death, and they show up in each of the three scenes. In the one with the 'valkyries,' as you called them, it doesn't step in because that great demon isn't able to die. In the middle story, you see the wolf as the arrows are flying up to come down on the samurai character (who is the guy with the wind powers, just decades later than the in-game present), and the one that comes straight for him is the same kind of glowing arrow that we see the death archer firing in the last scene, implying that this is his death years later. Most interestingly, the scene implies that he's at a point in life where he has forsaken killing - none of the bandits that he fights are killed. Even the leader, who he blasts with the wind... it seems as though he is knocking him away from the rain of arrows. And the last scene is a character... having a kind of near-death experience, with some of the implications being that he isn't actually fighting death, but rather the warriors who were surrounding him in the first place. Phenomenal storytelling all around!

The cool thing about this cinematic is that it confirms what really happens when Tryndamere enters his Undying Rage. He's fighting off Kingdred. Tryndamere in his ult has to make a stand against Death itself. EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. TIME. Now tell me you want this power. I don't.

Knox i had hoped u would catch the symbol of what Kindred meant. Kindread IS Death ITSELF, it shows death coming for the deathless warrior (tryndamere's ultimate skill is Unending Rage, for 4 seconds tryndamere cannot fall below 1 hp). So for "still here" death was coming for him as he fought those warriors until ashe came to save him

The cinematic is about The Past, The Present and The Future. The Past is of Kayle and Morgana, before they decided to go their separate ways of dealing with justice. It also explains how Aatrox already knows them despite not knowing Demacia itself, simply cuz at the time Demacia wasn't Demacia yet. The Future is of Yasuo, fighting one last time when lonia got invaded again and at the end the invaders kill him while Yasuo accepting the arrow of the Lamb (Kindred). The Present is of Tryndamere, and his non acceptance of death, both by the Wolf and the Lamb, due to his partial anger fueled blood magic. Every time he ults (undying rage) he sees the actual death - Kindred, instead of his enemies. (copypasta)

The shot of Tryndamere's eyes returning to their original color, as the rage in him dies down, is probably one of the most emotional scenes in any League cinematic ever. Tryndamere's whole thing is being so god damn angry that not even Death itself can claim him. And the second he turns in Lamb's direction and see's her fade away, revealing that his wife has come to rescue him and save him from death, the rage in his eyes immediately subsides and turns into relief. I have literally never cared for Ashe or Trynd in all the years I've played League. I don't play them, I'm not a big fan of their stories, nothing. But between the animation quality, the storytelling, and the emotion behind it all, that scene is easily my favorite in any cinematic Riot has ever made.

6:22 At this point you have to remember, this isnt tryndamere fighting wolf and lamb, this is tryndamere surviving the onslaught of the fighters from the beginning scene. His fight with the kindredwas just a beautiful display of that amazing fight. This part had me pleading for his undying rage.

I had to watch it twice to get all the context. The entire cinematic shows that Kindred is basically the Grim Reaper of the League universe, as they appeared in every scene in some way. There's tons of other details as well. When Morgana discarded her helmet and sword before binding herself to the Earth to ensnare Aatrox, despite Morgana doing it to protect others, Kayle is absolutely disgusted by her actions and you can see the disdain in her face when she walks by her to finish Aatrox off. Lamb also appears in the flames, no doubt there to claim the host body he had taken over. Aatrox is the sword and the body is merely a manifestation of the power. In Yasuo's scene, I genuinely thought it was his master but once I saw the scar, I knew it was him. Yasuo tried to use his power to protect the innocent and he tried not to kill anyone, but in his old age, he didnt have much time left. We can even see Wolf's eyes in the shadows, and its Lamb's arrow that comes for Yasuo at the end, and he accepts it. Finally, Tryndamere's ultimate in game means he can't die for a short time. This is the result of blood magic, and it seems that everytime he uses that ability, he has to fight off Kindred to keep his soul in addition to fighting all of his real enemies. If Ashe didn't arrive, Kindred would've continued but once she did, Kindred backed off because it simply wasn't his time to die. Beautiful cinematic. Not my favorite one, but its up there.

You gotta react to glorb man I know im not the first to say it. Its most probably and industry ghost writer going dummy on it. Some of it is ass, but the ones that are important are incredibly well done. Main picks are "STD", "Eugene", "Killcam", "Vengeance", Can Gangstas Cry", and finally "The Bottom 2". Theres a plotline with it, so thats in order.
