@@theboycheef841 15 years probation is nuts but bro should have really gotten 40 years in prison so hey I’ll take that probation all day to be free and at home with my family
Or if you know you're going to violate...I'd rather sit in jail for a. Year and be done with it.. probation sucks..fees.fines.classes.tests..n miss one meeting and ur violated
If they would have granted the mistrial. He would sit there for longer for another trial. They tired of going to court. He had to plead through a circus. I'm sure Georgia will be on the hook for something later.
This is what i was predicting from the start, there was no way he was beating the drug charges and the illegal gun charges from the raid on his home. But this rico case was shaky at best, he probably would've beat the rico eventually but then the state would've hammered him on the gun and drug charges. This was the best move he could've made considering his situation.
The raid on his home those charges were suppressed I mean you really don't know what you're talking about those they couldn't even use that in the court they had already suppressed that in a motion so they couldn't use none of that it was an illegal search and seizure
He didn't have a choice, they were never going to let him out! He also probably couldn't afford the attorney fees. Smh still doesn't make him guilty and everyone deserves a fair trial.
Millions of dollars in tax payers money was wasted. They should made deals with all of them to start. The state knew they had zero political capital to try him again. Dumb...
IT'S A FLAT OUT WIN! They acted like he was some kind of serial killer and as if they had him dead to rights when they had NOTHING! The key was to be FREE and based on that, HE WON BIG TIME! Keith Adams and Steele are the best attorneys in GA. IT PROVES that a regular man with average $$$ COULD NEVER GET A FAIR TRIAL!
15 years a long time to be clean. Can’t be around any drugs , gang members, or guns or have any type of run in with law enforcement bro might as well become a priest.
This is how many cases end up especially fed cases! They lock them up, make their lives as uncomfortable as possible and then dangle a plea deal in front of him
If he can beat the case why take a plea? I'm sorry, brother but what you said doesn't make any sense at all! He's tired? That's a bad take, He's admitting all of the things that he's done!
Thank God, because i swear his dreads were short when the trial started 😂. When he walked out he received a plack from the Guinness Book of World Records 😂
Damn...always happens to people that got something to prove....guess your family eating good off rap money wasn't enough for you to grow up alittle and walk away from the streets. Praying for you and yours...
@@emilianoadams9499 What are you talking about? The state messed up so damn hard they had to give up something. You have people in this trial that commited murder and was going to be in jail for life... they got 5years + time served. State took a gigantic L
Hey, Sport. After reading your comment, I can say one thing for sure. I KNOW who you are voting for. It's the colored one. The one colored up like a Halloween pumpkin. Just sayin'.
We must know how to take our blessings and make it work to our advantage, but if we don’t find Jesus we go back to the same ole thing and the penalties are far greater.
THE STATE NEVER HAD A CASE! They always try to use the rappers lyrics against them that was the only thing they had! It's definitely a win for Young thug because he's going to get a lot of probation!
@thecornblackmanpodcast - you can't seriously deny rap culture and criminality go hand in hand How many Rappers have a criminal record? How many die violently? Think about it and be HONEST PS - And don't give me any race baiting nonsense because I am referring to white rappers too
Probation is no joke. Look what they did to Meek. One screw up and Thug off to prison for a long bid. They gonna get him on some bs "disorderly conduct" charge a few yars from now and lock him up for the full 20 years.
This is the power of the US governments power in real time. My law professor use to tell me in a criminal trial, because our government is SOOOOO powerful, it’s our individual responsibility and obligation to hold the government to its own self imposed burden of beyond a reasonable doubt. Make them meet that goal 100 percent of the way and not 99 percent because that 1 percent of power can be immeasurable. So sad for thug. He may be guilty but the public knows the state didn’t meet that burden
In his case prosecutors and the defense could not come to a negotiated sentencing deal, and that the judge still ultimately decides his punishment. And that is crazy to let the judge hand down your sentence instead of the state.
DA Love gonna be taking a victory lap over her 'win' even though it should have been a mistrial months ago for the prosecutions mishandling of the case.
If judges had to recuse themselves and prosecutor had to be sanctioned, then they should've withdrawn the charges and tried again. I hope he gets his retrial and gets sime of these charges dismissed. It was more clear that there was a bad prosecution rather than compelling evidence. Whether he was a kingpin or not, the trial should be fair. It wasn't. The fact he had to plead guilty to get a retrial is the worst part if this.
