You can downplay literally everything with that mindset..... "Law school is just people reading old books to figure out how to tell others what they can or can't do." "A pulmonologist is just someone who listens to people breathe and then tells them how to cough" "Firefighters are just people who drive a big red car and play with water when things get too hot" You get the point
I'm sorry, but y'all don't understand how much we've waited for good beef. We got tastes of it in 2018, then it fizzled out. All we had was people gassing jay-z vs nas, and RU-vid disses. We finally get to eat good!!
Yes it is we may lose collaboration, yes but in the ashes of war beauty comes out and we could potentially get some of the best song from it just to see who is trying be the best mc
There is also advantages to this rap beef, which is the fact that the best of there abilities are use to make good diss tracks so we are potentially getting some timeless classic off these diss tracks
the rap beef to me is better for hip-hop than drake collabs would be, drake suddenly sounds hungry again and you do get more features to diss drake together, and drake has been terrible in the last few years, so i don't think we'd get many good features
Everybody who thought it was real energy when Cole dissed K. Dot shouldn’t have been disappointed. You knew deep down and damn well that it was not in his heart to even care about a rap beef between people he has no problem with. You have to know when it’s “fuck the fame and fuck the business, I’m real and I’m me”. People don’t value genuineness anymore and treat celebrities like they are obligated to entertain them. What you really should’ve expected was what Cole dropped on his feature on Red Leather.
Saw some of the comments that were pro- rap beef. I personally agree with this stance that it brings out the competitiveness of the rappers involved. I just don’t need any street w my rap beefs
