YOUNG! Music Gdragon recently came out with his album. I think you guys would really like it. I suggest the song Bullshit, it's lit af. Also Jay Park is an amazing rapper and singer to check out
Kaylie O'Connor yeah I can see Taehyung as an rapper just because of his very deep voice but the way it is now is great with Jimin and Jin as the high vocals and Taehyung and Jungkook as Low Vocals.
J-Hope is basically the Golden Hyung. Just like Jungkook, he can dance, rap, and sing, as he used to be a vocal in the earlier eras (he still is, but not that often anymore).
Kat Tachibana yeah Tae wanted to be vocal so Hobi give him the chance and he became a rapper. Tae was supposed to be trained as a rapper😂 is funny because the members hate when he raps
He auditioned for dancing and was accpeted and join BTS but Bang Sihyuk chose him as a vocalist because he wasn't as good as Namjoon in rapping, but Taehyung wanted to be a vocalist so they switched
So, to answer some of your questions: Cypher pt.2 was pretty much a diss at this B-Free dude that disrespected Suga and Rapmon because they became idols. And Rapmon has an IQ of 148. The fourth guy in Cypher pt.3 is Supreme Boi. He's a rapper, producer, mixing engineer, and recording engineer. He was a part of the original BTS lineup but left for unknown reasons. And he's pretty known for producing/helping to produce a lot of BTS' songs. He also performs with an underground hip-hop group named ROCKBOTTOM, along with producing his own music on SoundCloud. And one of the reasons you hear J-Hope improve so much is that he was originally supposed to be a vocalist, but instead, he was made a rapper, so his rapping is very obvious in his improvement since he's only been rapping for as long as he's been in the group. He's the only one of the rappers that weren't an underground rapper before he got into Big Hit. You heard Suga say Daegu since it's his hometown. His group when he was an underground rapper was D-Town which stood for Daegu Town. Also if you reverse Agust D (the name he used when releasing his mixtape) you get D Tsuga (Daegu Town Suga), so. Also, have you heard J-Hope's 1 VERSE? He referenced it in Cypher pt 4. It's the first song he released, it's from his mixtape (which he hasn't finished yet). And J-Hope also has other solo songs, like MAMA in the Wings album, and Boy Meets Evil, which is the intro song for Wings.
Thank you I was gonna say literally the EXACT same thing also now that Hixtape is released anyone new to BTS should listen to Daydream, Airplane, Hangsang and all the other tracks
The rapper who dissed BTS is called B-Free, and he's actually from Hawaii (hence "just go to Hawaii" in Cypher pt. 2). You can easily find on RU-vid the famous moment! (I hope you understand what I'm trying to say because English is not my first language haha)
YOUNG! Music the backstory of that diss is that Rapmonster and Suga were INVITED to go to this hip hop anniversary event and had to perform afterwards. After you watch that just take a peek at B-Free's MV and then compare him to any of Rapmon's or Suga's self-produced rap MVs. I'm sure you guys could constructively criticize and compare them than an untrained ear. But for a layperson, BTS rapline buries him imo.
He said really disrespectful things to the boys like wearing make up is for gay people, if you're in a boyband you're not rapper, those kind of things.
I'm veryyyy late, however I wanted to clear some stuff up. The "cyphers" were a 4-part compilation dissing their haters, and specifically a rapper known as "B-Free". B-Free said that BTS were not real rappers as they were kpop idols and tried to say that RM, Suga, and J-Hope couldn't be compared to him. They dedicated specifically the 2nd cypher to him. In the third cypher, the other guy that joins them is Supreme Boi (a music producer for BigHit Entertainment). In the 4th cypher, RM specifically calls out haters who said he was too ugly to be an idol, and insulted his English. The last cypher basically says that they are movingon and says that they love themselves anyway. Another note: when Suga says "i'll send you to Hong Kong" it is a korean slang phrase used to represent someone climaxing in sex
Ya know, this beef still sends sksksk especially after b free actually apologized for saying whatever he said back then because he was not in his right mind(if that doesn't translate to "i was dumb and foolish forgive me" what else does it mean) to stop these guys from having a cypher 5 thatd literally ruin him more than he already is oof
In actually, part 2 is specifically for b free not the first, third not fourth. They're more for the other haters and the people who look down at them, not just b free
The second cypher u listened to was like a diss track to another Korean Rapper named Bfree who was tryna roast them for wearing make up and saying that it's girly so they roasted the shit outta that fake as "rappers" WEAVEEE Edit: u probably already know bc I'm 1 year late 😂
Jhope changes the most because he didn't originally start out as a rapper. He's actually known as the best dancer in the group and got his start street dancing. He started learning to rap when he got signed with the company and while he was good when he debuted, now he's definitely found his own voice which is more trap and very different from RM and Suga...who were also his teachers. Now he's really distinct and more than holds his own. He's currently working on his own mixtape. He's very multi-talented because not only is he the best dancer and a great rapper but he can also sing(when he's goofing around) Before he got designated to learn rap he was going to be a vocalist and he does a lot of the lower harmonies in BTS' music. Also recently he's been doing some of his own solo singing parts in songs
I heard that he was suppose to be a vocal and tae was suppose to be the rapper but tae wanted to be a vocalist so J-hope became a rapper--- I don't know if this is truer not so if im wrong sorry
The reason Bts's rap line made cypher was because of B-free. B-free is a rap artist that threw shade at Bts for being in a K-pop group or for being K-pop idols. He said that they betrayed hip-hop for being K-pop idols. Bts then made cypher. The cyphers are dedicated to haters. || This is late but I don't care. 😂
X_ _X They also said racist slurs to them, which I don’t understand because they were both from the same race? And they were basically being against feminism.
i said it out loud and i was on the train to school in rush hour and this guy was watching the thing over my shoulder and he was like 'yh' and we silently bonded
@@nicknAckk_. yeah but u cant count live when meauring rap speed otherwise u gotta count jungkook 11.9 outsider cover. RM is actually fastest rapper in bts with 9.88 SPS in Joke, and #1 is zico with 10.13 in cocks
mesus_yg People in my class are like “SOOGAAAH?” And I’m like “can you READ?” Them; “But it’s a Korean name!” Me; “DO you think he was born being named after Sugar?” Them; “Yes? So his name is sugar?” And at part I just leave after saying Suga correctly. It’s not that hard. Just say Sugar without the R
When she said that jhope was the one that changed the most? I couldn't agree more. RM and Yoongi already knew what they were doing they had like years of experience from being underground rappers. Jhope was a dancer before bts. for fudges sake he was gonna be a vocal. he had time to experiment what fit his voice best. all i can say is that i am proud of every single one of them and how far theyve come.
Sarah B. honestly same, like my boy went from being a vocalist and a dancer to adding rapping to his list of skills and his style has improved so much over the years. i luv our golden hyung
to this whole dissing thing: there are undergroumd rappers who dissed suga and rap monster for being in a kpop idol group and not continuing on as underground rappers since there is still a big difference between kpop and k hiphop. thats why for example , khiphop rapper bfree tried to drag them and asked them if they werent ashamed of joining an entertainment to be in a kpop group and tried to drag them by saying "do you guys really think youre hiphop?". (btw, both rap monster and suga used to be part of the underground scene before) of course , since there were cameras they didnt drag bfree and the others since theyre also kpop idols but yeah that happened once lmao
Artsy Fadime also they couldn't defend themselves properly because they had to take care of their idol image, while bfree and other underground didn't had the same concern since their image is not so important. they knew this and they still said the things they said, to provoke them
Artsy Fadime Right. Also BFree (or BShit as I like to call him) dissed them for just being idols in general. How Rapmon and Suga wear make-up and take care of their image and skin and whatnot. He called them "girls" or "like girls". He told them how he hasn't listened to their album (rudely) and saying how making it like a hiphop album (intros, skits, interludes and outro) won't make it into one. And BFree also went on and said how Rapmon and Suga "sold themselves" to their company. Can't remember much since I try not to go back and watch that shit since it's so ridiculous. The broadcast was also another person's event or something (a birthday or sth idk) and Rapmon, Suga, BFree and other rappers were just guests. It was disrespectful to the host and to the other guests who got caught in BFree's shit. I applaud Rapmon and Suga for enduring and they were being respectful too despite getting spit right at their face. (You could tell how Suga was kinda restraining himself? Idk if that's just me.) Since they were (probably) the youngest there. They were still answering BShit's questions and stuff. There's a video if you wanna watch. The reaction of the girl that took the video is sooo me.
Artsy Fadime I know that this has nothing to do with the subject and no one cares but, when you say "underground rapper" I imagine rappers rapping underground (in like a sewer). And yes I know, I'm weird 🙃
Them: this is some drake shit Me: *thinks of the 'HE RAP LIKE JZ' video* Only ARMY understand Edit: Oml thank you guys so much for liking my comment! I didn't think it was going to get that many!
Namjoon is faster than yoongi, namjoon is about 3-5th fastest (sorry I cant remember the exact one), and yoongi is about seventh. Namjoon is the fastest rapper, because of his solo joke.
Yo, Suga keeps talking about how his pronunciation is weak as a rapper (he's the 11th fastest rapper in korea)...he said something on the 1st cypher... and on the 4th cypher rap monster said "diction, diction, diction"...this is 'cause Suga has a "lisp". And rap monster is considered as not so good loking idol (wich is crazy he is mad handsome!!!)..so he said "oh face not an idol".
Monaliza Carvalho I've noticed Suga has a lisp but it's not even that noticeable and namjoon is very good looking. The whole thing has a bunch of Easter eggs, you're good a catching them
Sehun from EXO has a lisp too. I love Suga for that lisp. As for Rap Mon? That boi is wicked handsome and sexy. All of BTS are. People are too judgmental for their own good.
Tbh I never noticed the Lisp, if no one ever pointed it out I would have never known. Also who said RM isn't good looking? Are they blind or in denial?
I'm honestly so shocked because when people react to cyphers, they usually notice rap monster so much that jhope and suga is usually in the backburn so it's really awesome that suga and jhope got a lot of recognition. Thank you.
marylyn ducusin they do notice suga but they always say that if they had to choose they like rap monster the best bc his flow is very similar to that of most American rappers
Yeah, that's what I meant. In terms of favoritism, I've seen a lot of reactors choose Suga as well. It's just a preference so everyone is different. Even when I discovered BTS 4 years ago, I chose Suga as the best one.
When I watch reactions to any Cypher, most of the reactors only notice Rap Monster or Suga and say that Jhope is like nothing compared to them. I was so jungshook and so thankful when this guys, especially the girl, noticed Hobi. That ''Jhope is bae'' made me happy affffff, like I was already smiling during the whole video, but that comment just made it better.
rap monster's IQ was tested 148 in his second year of high school, which is top 0.1% in the world. he taught himself english in the beginning by watching friends and now he's fluent even though he was born and raised in korea
The fourth dude on Cypher Pt. 3 is Supreme Boi, a member of the original Bangtan line up that left. Namjoon is the only original BTS member which is why he is the leader. Also, the reason why you hear so many changes with J-Hope is because he had no experience with rapping and had auditioned as a vocalist (in my opinion, its completely understandable because he has the voice of an angel) but was switched with Taehyung, who was supposed to be a rapper. He learned to rap before BTS's debut, and was still improving his skills during the Cypher series. The Cyphers are for B-Free who said that since they are K-idols and get makeup done is an interference with hip-hop. They roasted him 4 times because of the stupid things he was saying about them and the things they do.
Namjoon is the leader not just because he is the original member of BTS .. he is leader coz of intelligence and his leadership the way of his guidance to member he have alot of things to appreciate that's why he is the best leader of BTS
Yes, The Cypher series really progressed, and i'm so happy they dissed all them haters. Also, THANK YOU for saying Suga right, and yes, he literally spits fire.
These were written in a rage by Suga who was upset about hate comments from people who were anti-fans (usually people who thought other groups were better and fought with BTS fans known as A.R.M.Y about it.) People now know that unless they want to be exposed online they better not try shit. or they might get a song.
HeyNichi when they fist debuted it was more in style for k-pop boybands to sing about things like making a girl fall in love but BTS didn't really do that so many people criticized them also many Rappers use to say things like Bts's Rap line aren't real rappers becuse they were makeup and dance. Their style had many controversies becuse they didn't seem to match what other bands did. That is why i love BTS becuse they are and have always been unique and the have fought through all the hate.
@G-Crow Yeah they awesome as hell, I'm just talking about the original commenter that only talked about Suga and fr just ignored them. Like, all 3 of them absolutely slayed, no need to focus on just one of them, y'know what I'm sayin?
“You can tell they were rappers before” Fun Fact: J-Hope wasn’t a rapper before BTS. He was supposed to be a singer, but gave it up so Jungkook could sing since it was his dream. And we’re not complaining at all
I love your reactions! As much as me being a RM bias, most people when reacting to Cyphers usually favorite and notice Namjoon more than Suga or J Hope. I really loved it when you had said “J-Hope is bae” LIKE YES! I also really love your reaction towards Suga! I LOVED this! Thank you for reacting to them!
