Keine Lust means I don´t feel like it. Richard Kruspe, the guitarrist said this about the song: "You know, after all of these years we're full-up! Fame, success, money. We don't want to do anything anymore! Nothing! That's the idea in the song. We've returned to the starting point again. We just want to make music again. We don't want all the circus that goes with it anymore. So, we meet up again, one more time, for one more performance - just to make music together. The fact that we are fat is just symbolic for excess. It's really just about returning to the beginning." Greetings from Germany

Flake, the keyboardist, is often the butt of a joke in Rammstein's music videos or performances, just like they leave him hanging at the end here. This comes from the origins of Rammstein, when the band was still being formed and Flake was the last guy to join. He officially never really requested to join and was hesitent to and only showed up during a show and some rehearsals and stuck around ever since. He was already playing in a band with Rammstein's rhythm guitarist Paul. They sort of lovingly ostracize him, because they often joke that Flake still hasn't officially joined the band and they're still waiting on him. Their personal histories together is heartwarming.

Awesome video! Rammstein have a lot of funny, original and out of the box videos. But REALLY the LIVE PERFORMANCES are what they are all about!! The official live videos from the Madison Square Garden or Paris performances are a blast and won´t get blocked. "Engel" live in MSG or "Ich Tu Dir Weh" also live in MSG for starters are epic!!

Hey, the song is about them losing their desire for making music after gaining success, money etc. Keine lust is no desire. And by the way the 7 deadly sins are Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Pride, Gluttony, Greed and Lust. Love your reactions, keep them coming!

I love this song! It's a reminder that Rammstein having so much doesn't fall in self indulgency and routine as well as a criticism of artists that sold their Art for cash. "Lust" in German isn't desire only related to sex but to everything. So saying you "Ich habe keine lust = I don't feel any desire", can mean you have no desire to do anything: working out, talking, singing, making friends, thinking, loving. You want nothing at all; like you were sucked off the will to live. As Till sings "Mir ist kalt = I'm cold".

First, let me say this is definitely my new fav channel. You guys have got to check out the Gojira Live at Red Rocks 2017 that was recently uploaded. I know how you guys appreciate music and production. This show is one of the cleanest live performances at one of the best US venues. Actually "Keine Lust" by Rammstein translates to "I don't feel lust" - and that's also the meaning of the song. "I don't feel like it" is also a valid translation (as are "I don't want to", "I don't feel it", "I have no desire", and so on).

My favorite song from Rammstien would have to be "Rosenrot". But I do enjoy listening to "Auslander", "Onne Dich", "Deustchland", and "1, 2, 3" ( I think that's what it's called. The music video shows a colony of ants running around 🤷‍♀️😅). I recommend giving those songs a try when you get the chance!

You should have a look at the Rosenrot movie clip, which is another good one from them Else, I would highly recommend some In Extremo reaction. The song isn't so much about any of the seven sins, it's about how - in this scenario - the band are left so emotionally dulled by the excesses of their success, that they feel no satisfaction anymore, hence the part with Till Lindemann looking so uninterested and depressed while he's surrounded by beautiful women making out around him. Because they feel "so cold", completely dead inside because they've over-indulged in every vice and success. So this video is about them getting together one more time to where it all began, playing for the sake of the music, to try and reignite their passion and joy.

Have you guys heard of the instrument Hurdy Gurdy? You should check out Patty Gurdy - The Longing. All her music is based off the instrument. She used to be in a band called Storm Seeker and they're a pirate folk metal band that also plays the same song. Maybe you can react to both in the same video. You should check out their song Meil Teil which translates to "my piece". The video is loosely about the real life german crime where a man named Armin Meiwes advertised he wanted to eat someone. The seven sins are greed, envy, gluttony, lust, pride, wrath and sloth. "(Ich habe) Keine Lust" usually means "I don't feel like it (doing something)", but "Lust" can also have the same meaning it has in English, it's a double entendre, here. "Kein" (or "keine/keiner/keinen") means "no" (the absence of something); "keiner" on its own means "nobody" (as opposed to "einer/eine/einen", "a/an" or "one").

If you ever want a good laugh react to one of their few English songs Pussy. I loved when they came to MSG. For their first US show in 10 years. Was an epic night even if I had to keep running to and from my beer cart to get glimpses of the show.

German here! "Keine Lust" translates to "I dont feel like it". "Ich habe keine Lust, das jetzt zu machen." - "I don't feel like doing that now". Did you know that the band finishes the instrumental parts first and Till does then listen to it before writing the lyrics? Oh, and PLEASE react to the Piano version of "Mein Herz brennt" - it's wonderfully creepy!
