What a random lineup. Fucking great. I haven't heard Sleep in a hot minute. 4-Tay is a legend out here in the Bay Area. Than Ice T and RA? SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!
@Kyle C. lol ik, i have the sawblade vinyl of All Me Heroes. Im just glad Rugged's still makin music. Im going to see him in April and ive never been more excited
fkn dope...4tay was one of the first to make a radio remix personalied for the citys he was promotin in. so the whole citys was singing it..clever dude,,he lived on the top rotations for like 80 or 90 weeks in the early 90s, and chuck and r.a. ..nuff saifd.od killed it too i hear shit like this and cancel date nights and flights to just break scratch spit tag battle and sell tapes for 3 days in a row like we was still at scribble jam!!!!
Ice-T and the rugged Man my two favorite rappers on there. A lot of people don't realize right he's actually pretty fucking good lyrically. He actually wrote 99 problems for Jay-Z. Jay-Z gave him no credit
Noooooo not true. Ice didn't write the song, it was a lyric from a Body Count song that JAY sampled and true didnt give him credit but ICE did NOT write that song
"99 Problems" was an Ice-T song, then later JAY-Z put his own spin on it to show his actual problems in juxtaposition to his ability to easily get women. He flipped the song on its head and made it his own, albeit did take a lot of Ice's influence into count.
This is real shit with real features up in this bitch. Hate to be the guy bringing someone up who's not even present here but imagine Eminem was on this hip-hop vibe still. Wasted potential. Veterans need to stick together and boost each other's morale because I believe there are certain legends feeling a little insecure and worried about their relevancy. Andre 3000 for example. Old school is always relevant. Because old school IS HIP-HOP!
