Gorgeous style and color on you Marlene! It's so similar to On Point which I have and love. Seems this wig is not as long on the front as In Point. Adding this to my wish list and hopefully I can catch it on clearance at some point.

This color is very pretty on you 💛 I have this color in Top Billing and it is lighter with more highlights- This darker shade is is nice tho- Maybe the straighter styles have less highlights so they don’t look so “chunky” Curls and waves would blend that better
I'm going to (try) to get this one as soon as the next sale comes out. I have been having terrible luck with backorders and this one seems to be rapidly gaining popularity, so I'm not holding my breath. I love the Shaded Cappuccino shade - I would be happy to have it a tad lighter, so maybe I'll get lucky. Thanks for a great review!
Fabulous on you!!! Another great review!!! Is the hairline deeper than it is on On Point? I found On Point's hairline to be very different than it is on Simmer, for example. Glad you mentioned the straight wigs look darker than the wavier ones. I thought it was just me!!! And your nails are awesome!!!
I love this one on you Marlene, and I too like shaded cappucchino usually but if you had to pick onelighter than this shade which would it be? And thank you for this review, bc I def want it a bit lighter.
Why did they have to reduce the cap size, hair density, and permatease? Had they not done that, I would finally have found a version of On Point that I could wear. Congrats to those who like this style and have smaller heads. Great job as always, Marlene. And, yes, I noticed the earrings. :)
I am a little confused where to start measuring my head to get how long the wig would be on me based on the wig measurements. Could you help with this in one of your video?
This is a very lovely wig and it looks great on you 🥰 My major problem with this wig is the shedding! It’s disgusting! Been wearing it daily for a week now and the shedding wont stop. Do you experience the same? Let me know.
Hi Ivy, thanks for stopping by. I've worn Current Events about 4 or 5 times (about 6 hours each time), and I haven't experienced any excess shedding or anything out of the ordinary. I've had wigs in the past that seemed to shed then learned during a Jon Renau training that during packaging some fibers end up in the box that are were not originally attached and will give the appearance of shedding. If you feel this is not the case but rather the fibers detaching from the piece, my suggestion is to take pictures and email the retailer. I hope this helps. xo Marlene
