My philosophy is that the more reviews and the more reviewers there are, the better chance that those on an alternative hair journey will find the resources they need. And so many of my absolute favorite styles are made of it. I just get so worried that I’m going to botch them with maintenance and my skill level (or lack thereof- ha!) Good question! I’m now staring at the shape of my noggin and wondering if my cranium is shaped like a Neanderthal. 😂. Just teasing! 😂😂 I do have a very small forehead and a low natural hairline (what is left of it 😉), and I am wondering if the positioning of my wigs affects their profile. You’re absolutely right in that Simmer Elite has no permatease. I did not add any styling products or do anything to her other than give a vigorous shake and loosen the fibers a bit, but she does appear to have some volume at the crown. I honestly don’t know, and I hadn’t thought of it before, but I see where you’re coming from. 😊.

Hello! I am sorry to say at this point in my collection, I don’t have any regular Simmer wigs (all of mine are the Elite version) and unfortunately I don’t have any dark brown shades either. A lot of help I am. Geez! 🤦‍♀️. Marlene (The Crazy Wig Lady) has a good review where she compares the regular (wefted version) of Simmer with the Elite (handtied version), albeit in a much lighter color, Shaded Cappuccino. I have included the link below for her video. The cap features are going to be what differs between the two versions; the fibers will be identical in color and properties (both heat defiant Tru2Life). My whole goal on doing these reviews has been to help people experiencing hair loss and to promote the business of a hard working woman entrepreneur at TL Wigs. If the channel grows, super. Hello! Personally, I find the root on Shaded Iced Latte Macchiato to be slightly lighter (less of a stark contrast) than Shaded Biscuit, particularly in outdoor light. I hope this helps! ❤️
