This 1969 1/2 Dodge Super Bee is an absolute beauty! Steve Pearson bought this car at the age of 16 but unfortunately had to get rid of it due to him going into the service. After many years had passed by Steve’s wife pushed him to find the car and after many hours of searching it appeared. Steve says it was meant to be and the car just seemed to find him. Such an amazing story behind this car! Buckle up as we dive into this very rare car that are a dime a dozen.

Lol I’m 12 and I’m hooked onto old cars. It started because of… “the dukes of hazzard” I got a cd collection of it and once I saw the general Lee I fell in love with old classics, my grandpa also has a 1969 roadrunner 383 and I just absolutely love it

That is the most beautiful car in the world. Back in 1974 one of my high school teachers had one almost exactly like it. Same color. It had the Magnum 500 wheels, with RWL tires, and it was a 4 speed. I love those rectangular exhaust tips that exit under the rear bumper. A muscle car should have a visible dual exhaust. I've never seen a Super Bee or Roadrunner that didn't have a bench seat. Bucket seats are for Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, stuff like that. The Super Bee and Roadrunner were large sedans that had been stripped down with big engines. They were not sports cars. If that car were mine it would have to have much higher gears in the rear end, to make it a good cruiser. I certainly wouldn't be racing a car like that.

I always thought they had drums brakes because less drag than a disc brake (constantly rides the rotor), and that equates to more HP when drag racing. Also, just like the wheels, it keeps the cost down, and makes more of a "stripper".
