The Strosek 964, but I'd leave the exhaust. Assuming the recording is faithful, I'm not a fan of the exhaust.

@@hawksrock3024 every 911 looks a bit like all other generation of 911s... but this is a 964, it looks like a late 80s-90s car with beautiful details that make it look a bit modern...a singer's 911 is an extensive restomod with the aim of making it look like an older generation of 911. This 964 in my view = probably the best looking 964.

Strosek cars have aged well, versus the Gemballa cars which - while still good looking- are easily identifiable as things from the Eighties.

Did you get the magnum PI vibes in the Ferrari? All you were missing was the Hawaiian coastline 😂😂🤣👍! Was that a MOMO steering wheel in the Ferrari? I believe they worked closely with them back in the day.

I know that 308s came with momo wheels from factory, so likely that continued through to 328.

I feel like the 308/328 are still a bit of a hidden gem. I love my 308 QV, just a fantastic engine and transmission to drive. Yes, the chassis is not as impressive as a modern car might be, but it's fine and, importantly, the suspension is very comfortable on less than perfect roads.

It shouldn’t. It’s cheap insurance to make sure you don’t dump the clutch in gear by accident.

@@TedwardDrives It took me a few days to quit the habbit of "wiggling" and I now just push it over to the left or right, to see if it's in neutral. I want to preserve the nice shifter feel. Also let the next owner appreciate it 😄 When I drove my mothers car for the first time, I was taken aback, by how loose the shifter felt, after only 10 years of her driving it. It was like sticking a wooden spoon into cake batter and wiggling it around 🤣

@@lllBASlll It's a better habit anyway. I had a pupil in my learner car who always did the wiggle and he was really confident that he always was in neutral... Until he wasn't. He did the push-to-left/right afterwards.

I've been waiting for a 328 POV for a while now from you! I'm finally glad we got it! Hope you get more seat time and impressions in one but you already seemed like you were enjoying it a lot more than the 964, I think for me that's the one I'd take home. GTS, red on tan, could not go wrong with it. Sounded, daresay, a bit Honda but it's a V8 so you'll have grunt... I think that'd be *the* classic Ferrari to own.

Sounded like my old integra but when the oil was cold it wouldn't engage vtec at 6000rpm. A bit crap basically. Lacking induction noise. Flat plane crank v8 with insulated intake will do that.

I compared me doing 1-4 gears on my k20z3 civic si revving to 8600 rpm to a newer ferrari 360 in cabin 1-4 gear pull and they sounded so similar its just hilarious to have "ferrari noises" in my 4door daily driver of course the exhuast sounds different but in cabin and oncoming sounds a lil crazy

I used to own a Strosek 964 C4 in silver, but mine had RUF wheels mounted. Today I can hardly believe (and I deeply regret) that I sold the car (back in 2002). I wonder if it still exists and if it's sitting in a garage somewhere.

I remember seeing the small light versions in DuPont Registry back in the day and would cringe a bit. With that said, the Gemballa Avalanche was probably even more cringeworthy. ;-)

Yes some did not have ac. Some did. You can see the compressor. They never blow that cold but it’s nice to have in the summer so you aren’t sweating

I really don't like the boomines of the exhaust on the Porsche. Sounds like some kind of V8 in new car with 10 turbos muting all the mechanical noise of the engine.

Fun fact is that if you aren't close enough to the ferrari you dont recognise its a ferrari but you can recognise the porsche miles away.
