And Selena is trying to donate part of the proceeds for the next 10 years I believe to support mental health help! So that’s great too since mental health is an important issue that is usually overlooked.
@@AV-ff4hr fenty is very expensive compared to this. Fitting perfectly into the existing market also means not making an eyeshadow quad 40 bucks. I love Rihanna but I’ve never had the money to buy a fenty product. Selena isn’t using her reputation and celebrity to overprice things and I love that.
This feels like a luxury brand. Something about the packaging and products. But the costs are so affordable considering actual luxury brands and the products are vegan and cruelty free which makes it even better. I’m so pleased. And Selena has been through so much so seeing her have this passion project is awesome. ❤️🥺
The design of the bottles also has assistive device aspects to help for people who have issues with finger dexterity (like herself) and others with arthritis. It's really a beautiful brand, just by the shades, the undertones, and the packaging, it's obvious she really cares about these makeup!
When you said, “as always I am not using a skin blur.. so you can see the texture of my skin”-I subscribed. Literally what we need. Women who don’t make us feel bad for having pores. Also, loved the review! I’ve been anticipating her make launch all summer. I hope she keeps it simplistic.

I watched mariah leonards review and was so sad when i found out they don’t ship internationally! I was ready to pay all taxes for that foundation and concealer 😭 i hope they will be sold on cultbeauty or feelunique soon

The fact that 100million going to help fund mental awareness, and helping to provide access for many that otherwise could not get help is AMAZING. I will support any business that thinks in such an innovative way. Its a WIN WIN, imo. We get to donate and get products. I'm getting everything, if I can't use it, someone can, its a gift lol. I was wondering if the ball was an accessibility thing! I don't have arthritis but I do have joint pain and I was thinking about how easy those would be to open on the days where my hands are weak. I'm so shocked that this brand is so well thought out, it's seriously so cool.

I think Selena did a good Job of making it a timeless brand and not a trendy thing that will burn out in a few years... this seems like a high end brand but for young people...

It went so far that the brand itself had to make a statement that their intention WAS NOT to made the lid for people that struggle with arthritis nor lupus. They also said they liked the idea and that they will probably do that in the future.
I've always been the biggest fan of Selena's music and acting and now when I found out that she's coming with a makeup brand I feel like my selenater life is complete I'm so happy for her she's a queen👑❤
I saw a few reviews and every time the foundation looks amazing. This is the foundation I searched for all the time. Hopefully it will be available in Germany soon!
Ive honestly never been able to find a foundation that looks natural! I don’t really wear makeup that much but considering getting the foundation and concealer!
Absolutely love the aesthetic of this brand!! The focus in bright lips, bold liner and natural skin is so fresh and modern, and also kind of Parisian. The light pink liquid highlight and the matte red blush from the line are SCREAMING my name and I’m gonna order them first thing tomorrow.

So many people criticized Selena for coming out with this line. “WhAt MaKeUp DoEs ShE eVeN wEaR?!” She wears this makeup! This was the exact makeup I pictured when she was releasing this line. I am also really pleased that she didn’t release an eyeshadow palette as part of her first launch, not that I expected her to, but they just always feel like a cash grab to me
THIS. Just because you enjoy wearing natural makeup and soft glam doesn’t mean you don’t love makeup. Personally I feel most confident when I have natural make up on. I’m so buying their foundation and blush when they expand to Europe!

For anyone who doesn't know, the ball like shape of the bottle caps of products are for people who have arthritis, like what Selena have along with Lupus. It's purpose is so they wont struggle to open them due to weak hands. Just to inform guys😊

I love that everything looks so natural! I don't wear makeup because I feel like it's too heavy and suffocating but I definitely want to try this one. I also loved the powder with the absorbent papers.

A lot of other channels have this crazy bright lighting and everyone's skin looks perfect and flawless from start to finish and it's like uh, do you even have pores? Or lines? Or breakouts? this brand looks beautiful, i love the clean & simple aesthetic of packaging personally. the price range is nice too, it's a great mid range cost which i definitely feel is the most lacking price range for brands. i also love that they started with complexion products, cheeks, lips, and some basic eye products, i feel like most brands do eyeshadow if they do cosmetics. for me, i think i'm most interested in the foundation, concealer, maybe the spray, the blushes - though i'd like to see some more colors that are more to my appeal, the liquid highlighters, potentially the brow but mostly because they have a warm auburn which i find red shades tend to be the most ignored in brow products, the tinted lip balms - my favorite since i don't wear makeup every day usually just brows and balm, and then the lip cremes because i'm curious about the different formula, though not many of the colors really appeal to me (brave & strength i think are the two i like most, especially for autumn).

I love the way this foundation looks.. It didnt cover all of your blemishes but that makes you look even more perfect because it doesn't really make you look false/CGI. you look so real and beautiful!!!

I love your videos. The way you show foundation close up with no filters is fantastic. You are such a positive example of what the majority of us look like. We have texture to our skin and that’s ok. As someone (now 45) who suffered from acne fairly well until I was 38 and now has scaring, I was always so incredibly self conscious of the way I looked. I would have loved to have someone like you that is honest and real about some of the issues so many of us have to work through with our skin. Although your skin appears to be clearer than I had, just you showing close ups of how a blemish looks when covered with different types of foundation is a reality sorely missing from so many influencers videos. Congratulations on your wonderful videos, you obviously work hard on your content and are always putting out an honest and beautiful view of beauty.

I am definitely picking up the foundation, concealer, and the lip soufflé. The lip soufflé looks like the nyx powder puff lippie which is a matte cream miracle. I can’t stop rubbing my lips together when I have that on either. 😁

My eyeliner bubbled too! But the pigmentation is amazing and the brush let’s me put on my eyeliner in like 2-3 swipes. I hope it doesn’t leak out of its packaging tho...
OOOOHHH!! Those lip creams kinda look like the Korean lippies I love ( a lot of them are called "lip velvet tints" or something similar to that). They are all just a silicone based creamy lippie almost like the Color Pop Blotted Lips but without the dry down. I think I will love these if that is the texture of them!

You’re my favorite beauty guru. I don’t know if it’s because we have similar taste when it comes to makeup, or your relaxing but hilarious personality. Everyone has their own taste, but I can’t stand the massive eyelashes, full coverage foundation, and stripes of bronzer on myself. I also love that you didn’t go on a 15 minute bootlicking tirade about how many shades there are, praising these companies for doing the bare minimum is so frustrating to watch. Usually I find celebrity makeup brands cheesy unless it's Fenty but Selena did a pretty nice job with this line. Its everything about makeup I'm into right now. I'm interested in the foundation, concealer, and blushes a lot but it's all sold out already! Love the design for the foundation and concealer bottles/tubes too. The prices look decent as well.
