It’s in the name tainted lip oil . Some lip oils are tainted, Selena’s of course if highly pigmented so it’s long lasting . And all oils are not heavy , I myself like coconut oil, because it’s light. So I can’t wait to try it. I don’t like heavy makeup.

Yes I know they were meant to be tinted, but staining is different from being a tinted lip oil. What I meant was they did not market the staining aspect of it which is confusing to consumers because not everyone is looking for something that stains. I think some people would prefer a tinted lip oil that just wears off. I wasn’t trying to come off as negative about these lip oils. I like how they feel but I wanted to make sure my viewers knew what they were getting into with them because not everyone will enjoy the staining aspect. I hope you’re able to try them and enjoy them!

The last lip oil especially and the blush look so good on you Rupy! I think these lip oils are going to be a pass for me but I'm intrigued by the Dior one and also the Ami Colé and the new Merit ones (not sure if they're available at Sephora Canada).

I would love to try Ami Colé but we don’t have it here 🥺 I’m definitely picking up Gisou and Haus Labs though during the sale. Maybe I’ll consider a Merit one too.

Have you tried the second shade on its own yet? Curious to know how you liked the shade on your natural lip color. How long did the tint seem to last?

No I need to!!! I will try it for you tmrw! As for the stain. The swatches were on my hand even the next day and I washed my hands a LOT! But on my lips I would say it lasted majority of the day. But wasn’t there the next day like my hands lol

Yeah they’re pretty tints but these are not really lip oils in my opinion. I think I’ll be returning at least two, maybe all 3.🥲

@@QueerBones then that’s a good reason to want them! I just don’t love the taste of it on my lips so I think it’s a no from me because I don’t think I’ll reach for it much. I like the idea of a stain too

Oooh! Yes. Those are a little more like a soufflé texture and these are more gel like. They don’t really feel like a true “lip oil” - interested in trying the cover girl!
