Formula, texture and effect wise wet n wild precious petals highlighter is an excellent dupe of rare beauty Exhilarate highlighter. Just a tiny bit shade difference. Precious petals is little bit rosy toned while Exhilarate is champagne toned. Personally seen swatches!

The only product I bought from their India launch was the lip oil, and it wasn't all that great, either as a lip oil or a tint. Good tip on the blush! I'll have to dig mine out to check. Thanks Jovi!

Thankyou for another great video Jovi! In my personal opinion, Rare Beauty doesn't fill any void in the beauty space in India as I see there are many MANY brands available in that price point in India which has great formulas too. When it comes to products, I tried Concealer and Foundation, that didn't work out for me at ALL. I have oily acne-prone skin and it sit weird on my skin for some reason, thankfully I didn't buy it but used my friends products for two days when were on a trip. The formula of the concealer was SOOO DRYING. Also, when it comes to other face products, for me its not justifiable to be spending too much on something which doesn't even make a difference after applying on my face, if i am using a 400rs or a 4k product as blush, highlighter and lip products all look the same after applying. The big turn off has to be the prices. Sephora really be doing a flop service to all the good celebrity/influencer brands for ex Patrick Ta brand. The products are bomb but the price point is horrendous.

Hey Jovi....I am watching your videos backwards again because its been sooo long I am not able to apply makeup flawlessly as I used to do it before. I tried literally every single thing to fix this...shade matching all over again...finding out the correct products...what goes with what....the skincare products... Skincare & Makeup techniques.... I don't do makeup. The max makeup I do for occassion is lipstick, eyeliner, kajal and compact powder. Still I watch your videos. I feel so relaxed. I like your presentation 😊

Hi Jovita. I went to try rare beauty blushes at sephora Kolkata before buying. Sadly the tester ones they had did not show up on my skin. I was shocked, how can these blushes in shades believe and encourage not show up on my skin as I have seen people raving about them in youtube. I'm NC 42 to max nc 43.5 if tanned. I have seen people of much deeper complexion using them. I was shocked and did not but.

Mars has a mouse textured lipstick which also stains And definitely lasts longer than rare beauty one.

I am happy that you didn't completely go negative on this. I love Selena so much & I wan to support her brand, I want to buy at least 1 product from Rane Beauty but it's so so so expensive in here India. I wish they come up with mini limited edition in India like they do in USA.

Jovi I honestly don't find anything worth the money in rare in the 3 things I bought which include the blush ,highlighter and foundation I got internationally so not that expensive but still not worth it at all ,foundation is fine I would anyday pick nyx in drug store and estee in high-end instead and the highlighter is close to nyx born to glow liquid highlighter n fraction of the cost for 3 times the quantity!

The answer is No, if it was for their normal price... I'd say yes for their eyeliner, bronzer stick and liquid highlighter.... i hated their Concealer honestly, just not for me..... You get iconic, huda, givenchy, dior for the same price its sold outside 😅

I bought the blush this week cuz of the hype and I regret it so much cuz of zero pigmentation.... I thought I got cheated. I just use it like a lipbalm now 😑

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT. Its not about after 2 years the pigment reduced, its more about the product being expired. Every product has an expiration date once you open it. You can see it on the package. And I don't understand why you're overreacting to the prices? Its a luxury celebrity brand. Just like fenty. When kay beauty was released you went gaga over it because you were in the pr list(you can check the comments on thise videos from your viewers, when they clearly mentioned you were overhyping it when the products werent that great and were expensive, I tried them too and was disappointed) but rare beauty is clearly an international brand. The customes and taxes will make it more pricey. No hate to you but honest criticism.

Every modern cosmetic and skin care products have bad chemicals. When I stopped using them during lock down, I found my natural skin is so good. So I stopped using chemical products. For skin and hair care I use Khadi naturals chemical free products.

Their shade range is not as good to be fair. They may mostly work for people with spring or summer colouring. Maybe even for winter coloured people. But for people who are autumn coloured especially dark autumn they lack colours and undertones. I had gone to the Sephora store and tried all shades of lipsticks oils etc and they had absolutely nothing for autumn coloured people. Most of them have just cool undertones and are of spring summer colouring. Only product that was okay for autumn beauties was blush in shade love. I consider this brand as not so inclusive due to that. It’s as if Selena chose the colours that only she likes. For people who love vegan and cruelty free products they can try ELF cosmetics (most products are cool or neutral in undertone). Indian vegan and cruelty free brands include Kiro Disguise cosmetics Plum Goodness Iba Fae beauty Aqualogica Daughter Earth
