The kick start in old bikes works differently. You have to give some throttle input while doing the kick, for the engine to start. Without any input to the accelerator, its just another leg day at the gym for you.
Price of Diesel was less than 18 /liter . Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka had lot of these bike called officially then as Taurus. The only cons were heavy frontal vibrations and will not be able to climb a slope with pillion or luggage.😂
Raju Bhai’s son works with me and it feels so proud to talk to him and know what they do at RG customs They have great collection of motorcycles and more of enfields. The Rocket project is going to be amazing I personally seen the Rocket which Raju bhai’s son got to work and I remember how huge that motorcycle is and was gen 2 Lets wait for the build
Amazing ! You are one hell of an amazing presenter. None of the bs just pure honest reviews with sensible details and a bubbly personality! It is refreshing to see, you and Faizal are amazing!
I was fortunate enough to ride one in Goa during my early college holidays ..belonged to my friend's dad. Indeed, the fly wheel doubles as a water pump used in farming and well water pumping
The most idiotic decision to stop diesel vehicles was the high emission. They forgot to calculate that a diesel can give you at least 50% to 80% more driving range (better mileage). That more than makes up for increased emission.
I had ridden in my school days, kidney fail hojata hai in long ride, it is famous in India Tamil Nadu state right today, and emits smoke like hell and heats, it hardly goes 70 km/hr with more effort. people even now build this bullet from scratch in TN state, with electric starter, good to cruze in village roads, and have still collected in Germany, they modify the filter and use vegetable oil..
Lovely super bikes are showing and explaining each and every thing regarding about bikes it is good in knowledge to know about the bikes thank you so much for like this video's and do on continue saying about bikes but be careful while you driving stay safe stay healthy stay blessed Take care always you and your family
This motorcycle is definitely an unforgettable piece of Enfield's history in India. The Taurus one of the very few diesel 2 wheelers manufactured around the world. It gives good fuel economy however it vibrates like hell( It's unbearable trust me!). Riding it on a speed of 40kms is good and you can enjoy the old Enfield feel. Beyond that it will shake your whole body.
As Usual Great Vlog Priyanka 👍. I don't know in our India all classic vehicles which will give better milege was gone on the name of emissions. Royal Enfield need to take special permission for diesel bullets or develop BS 4 diesel Engines. Bhaskar CEO
That is NOT a Bullet. It's a Taurus. 1 liter Diesel or 1.5 liter Salad oil on 100km. I drove one new bought in 2001 6 years and 20.000km in europe. 6.28 HP and Vibration to makes it impossible to drive over 65 km/h on a german autobahn. The brakes are left, the exhaust on the rear of the zylinder, the airfilter is oil filled, you have right 1 gearstick for the gears and a 2nd one separat for neutral
This was another fool’s paradise Enfield India introduced and looted Indians! Got an engine designed for auto riksha/3 wheelers. Introduced serious spine related issues in regular users, eventually trying to get rid of this spine barker some how. I can testify
Just what in the world is the point of a riding jacket when you have to ride with zip open. And not just in this particular video, almost every one of yours. Useless advocacy of chapripana.
You can buy normal splendor bike which can give you same hp and fuel average except it is RE and diesel there is not much sense for looking for these bikes
I met a guy with a diesel bullet on this bike tour in India. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aauQve4XqpM.html He told us stories about using it to ride to the Pakistani border regularly for business. It cost him next to nothing to run it despite the distances involved.
That bike has a small decompression switch at the top of the engine, at least some of them have one and with that it can be startet quite easily. The 1000 km is only possible with the big fuel tank, especially when you ride fast. I owned one once. ;-) Nowadays I would use electricity.
I would like to have her as my daily work tours, I had her in the 90s.I too was facinated, and I wished for her but though she was quite expensive. I heard farm
My Royal Enfield Bullet got converted to drive only with the one (the left) hand. I had gas, brake, clutch, everything left, because I can't use my right arm to ride a bike.
I have one too!! Infact I use it often as my daily ride. Only reason that it is not my full time ride is because it is literally a "Full Body Massage Machine" on two wheels. ;D Like raju bhai rightly said... It is 100% fill it and forget it types....
@bikewithgirl55 let's talk, I've had all 4 diesel variants, sooraj with & without electric start, Taurus and diesel engine swapped bullet 350... Over a period of time it became a menace... You people may be fascinated but I'm done with diesel bikes.... Again Taurus wasn't 92 launch, it was either 96 or 95 and didn't even last till y2k... They brought a yellow painted karshak or krashak named diesel with a pulley on flywheel to couple pumpsets and had a factory fitted powder coated rear carrier... Powered by greaves engine... Fuel saved spent in hospitals 😑
