In today's video, we loook at rare times of Ryan Hollins being right. Ryan Hollins is known as one of the worst anlaysts today. But he has been right from time to time and here are the clips.
No he’s right because he actually played in the league, most people who weren’t great players more times than not are extremely great at dissecting the game, Ryan would probably make a great coach in the nba if given the chance and talent, fans think just because your not Michael Jordan you can’t be Phil Jackson🤷🏾♂️
I don’t understand all this hate on Ryan hollins he is one of the greatest analyst and basketball players ever in his prime he average a unheard of triple single 1.8 PPG 5 Minutes Per Game 0.1 Assits Per Game
yeah man, if he were playing full 48 minute games games he would've been on like 16ppg, 1 assist. that's solid numbers. if all his career games went to overtime and he played all the minutes, that's like 20+ppg career average. solid player
He was right about Luka cause he played against him in Spain. In Europe, Luka was well known as the best in the Continent. Its just that USA is still sleeping on the rest of the world. NCAA will become irrelevant.
@@Op00 in fact the European basketball is real basketball cause they play as hard defense as they can the nba is just a show you can't let someone pass you for him to dunk
@@ianmudd1383 to be honest is was tough to know giannis would be this good, giannis put a lot of work and thats credits to him but the giannis that was drafted with the body and skills was not on the path to be this great, so you never know when a player would work as hard as giannis
Ryan Hollins actually said some right stuff. Like when he said the nuggets would finish ahead of the lakers two years ago. He said they’d finish top 3 they did. He said luka should’ve went one, He said smart stuff ima not name all of them but they’re there
A 4 minutes video of him being right. There is about 24 hours of him speaking nonsense. I think he plays the clown role in the shows he has been in because there is no way someone can be this dumb, but still, c´mon bruh.
@@user-hs5vb6kc9o I mean you can make this 24 Hour Compilations out for everyone. Charles Barkley, Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman, Rachel Nicols they all just talking and talking ofcourse there is alot of Bullshit in it.
The fact we didn't see that Luka Doncic was really the best prospect since LeBron and he was staring us right in the face still baffles me. He was MVP of the second-best league in the world at 18 and literally has everything you want in a superstar offensive engine in the modern NBA. People really convinced themselves that a traditional big who at the time wasn't a good defender was the better prospect, insane.
Not to mention Max Kellerman, who doubted Luka could ever show up "when it matters most", even though at that time he already had two European Finals MVP at age 18-19 🤷♂️
SAS is a dumbass. In the same breath when he admitted to not seeing/knowing much about Luka, he claims that taking Ayton #1 is a no-brainer. He's not only wrong, his statements are admittedly baseless.
He was right about Luka cause he played against him in Spain. In Europe, Luka was well known as the best in the Continent. Its just that USA is still sleeping on the rest of the world. NCAA will become irrelevant.
Damn. He is so right, and i cant believed it. People always laughed at this dude's opinion. And before the nba draft of luka doncic, this guy always fighting luka and alot were laughing at him. But now they cant even say his right, instead people reminds everybody his career in nba, trolling hil when he was playing. LOL.
Honestly Ryan is very good at talking and keeping the viewers interested he just needs better takes but the way he presents the takes is quite phenomenal
Should be updated. He said Simmons should be benched in crucial moments, said Giannis is not ready for prime time, Clippers choking, said Harden and Russ were the third best duo, then Klay got injured making them the third best duo, etc. He's actually been right on numerous topics.
Respect to him, I dont like these other analysts talking about how he they say Luka was playing with grown men when they were hating on him in the first place.
@@kedda4515 Most have been labeled as soft at the end of their careers. The NBA is more physical and typically these players don’t have the edge to last in the NBA
Good video, One thing though I can't believe Hollins said I played is Spanish league which is very skill base, I can't believe I'm hearing that from him.
"Athletic" for the neanderthals on ESPN means 4.4sec 40 yard dash sprinters, and a 40" vertical jump. Strength, balance, incredible hand eye coordination, and deceleration are never taken into consideration.
You're reading too deep into stereotypical bull. Sometimes not athletic means not athletic. No one ever said Jason Williams wasn't athletic and not a soul ever called Tim Duncan athletic. You're grabbing low hanging fruit so you don't actually have to think.
Luka is the better point guard/playmaker, you put those 2 together then you have a deadly combo that definitely makes the playoffs and is a piece away from being a contender.
Sorry but not true, suns missed out big time. Devin booker is great but he’s not as good of a playmaker as luka, devin is a straight scorer. Luka in his second year is already a better playmaker in the nba than devin has ever been. If luka is on the suns we are talking about devin booker(a straight scoring killers) FG percentage increase because now he’s playing off ball, the whole teams FG percentage increase, you’d have a better suns team with luka versus deandre, I’m sorry but it’s just the truth. Look at how dwayne wade moved off ball in Miami when lebron came. That whole teams FG % went up compared to previous years and it would’ve been a comparable situation even with a young luka.
ur saying devin booker was a better pick than luka, all cause they “already had a primary ball handler”....? bruh that might be the dumbest thing i ever heard
how is that incorrect? He clearly said "at that age" before making that statement. You're telling me at 21 years old Trae's 30 4 9 statline isn't better than Steph's 17 4 6?
Yep Hollins was right. Luka should go number 1 and play alongside Booker. But the Suns pick overlooked Ayton, which isn't bring the positive result for the Suns. Even though Ayton is growing, I don't see any improvements on the Suns itself. On the other hand, Luka improves and even changes the way Mavs play, makes him a legit all-star player.
He was right on Luka. But anyone who watched Luka play in the Spanish League could have told you that he had higher potential than anyone other than maybe Trae Young (who I was also really high on). I was shocked that the Suns, who were in serious need of a PG to go with Booker, didn't take Luka. I thought it would be smarter to take a guard (in a guard centric league) than a big man who doesn't have a reliable outside shot.
Ryan Hollins seems like a guy who really knows his shit but has to dumb himself down either to try to be edgy or to make Stephen A. and Max look good. I don't know, man...the industry can be straight up shady as hell.
The only reason Doncic didn't go number 1 is because of racism. I'm also still waiting for a punishment to be handed down on Montrez Harrell for the blatant racism he said at Doncic. That's right we'll never see that because the NBA is too hypocritical.
