Buying one of these tomorrow for my 2186 cub. It has the actuator with it thankfully. Hope it works out cause it would be an awesome addition to my fleet!
@@SolunaGarage I bought this 2000 series cub just to rip the 18hp engine off but it actually works fine even the deck so if I get this tiller today I'll keep the mower and maybe try and hire myself out on some tilling jobs this fall and spring.
@@SolunaGarage I ended up buying it but I'm missing the actuator mounting bracket which is fine I can make it and the wiring I can figure out also. Do you have an email address I can share some photos with?
It had been run long enough to get some wear on the belt and form a memory of the double twist. I think it ran once but as you say very little to no actual work.
They didn't use primer on those cubs because powder coat doesn't like to stick to primer. If they would media blast the bare metal or even Clean and etch the bare metal after it came out of the presses, the powder coat would actually stick. The decks and fenders on the Lowes and Home Depot JD mowers are much much worse. JDs decks must still be coated in oil before they spray on the powder coat because as soon as it gets 1 scratch in it the entire thing comes off as soon as you hit it with any power washer.
Hey Justin I am thinking if you added another cheater to the pry bar you will more then likely have the lift setup fixed. Boy one can get lost in the pulley setups on the long belts. thanks for the video Ken
