I am. im in love with her game.its the definition of effortless. "generational" is thrown around wayyyyyy too much nowadays but her game truly is@@jinxterpinxter
That recruiting class was CRAZY. Paige was 1, Angel Reese 2, Cam Brink at 3, Clark at 4, Cardoso at 5. Van Lith at 7, Paopao at 11, Aaliyah Edwards at 23
Damn, imagine having multiple top 10 players from that class. Not very often so many players pan out from a class, and even less so to the degree that Clark, Paige and Reese play at.
There’s a funny video on here where the opposing home team was chanting “overrated” to her. Only in the beginning of the game, of course. She dropped like 40 something on their heads.
@@Benwood1900 She had records that will last for years. In 15 years, nobody outside of LSU fans will remember Reese winning that Championship. What does Caitlin have? IMMORTALITY! It’ll be years before her record is broken. Slogans, “Never a Long Shot”.
fantastic collection of footage . I'm a huge fan of clarks but she has really polished her game since that was filmed . bueckers and others really showed their skills back then . was fun watching them all , you can see why they now have such bright futures .
@@RobThaBankrespectfully, she still too tuff for them to guard, she’d still be a beast either way. Also look up her high school highlights she can finish with left, she just doesn’t.
Yeah. Injuries will slow ya down. Still she hasn’t done too bad. First year Final Four. 2nd year Championship game. This year she’s Avg 20, I think. Somewhere around there. But if UConn didn’t have 3 starters and 2 key players out for the year, I think she and UConn would be a way different team. Can’t see them getting past the Sweet 16 this year. Just like last year. Other top teams have to much depth and can easily wear them out.
@frankiek2269 that's true. However, I still feel like she plays like a robot at Uconn and played with more personality before going to Uconn. I think one can still play in a professional setting while still having personality embedded into their style of play. I think she was overplayed by the coach.
@@jazzyj6640 See, I thought that too, but from everything I've seen, Geno is practically BEGGING this girl to please shoot more and try to create opportunities for herself. Yet, she's so god damn passive. I don't get it.
@@VeraxMusicyeah it can’t be blamed on Geno/system at this point. All he says is she should shoot more, and I’m sure he’d rather she take over than lose
Only female high school players I knew back then were HVL and Paige, HVL had that one documentary by some hoop page and Paige got a junior and senior mixtape that blew up
With Clark going to the fever, and that coach is a defense mind coach, I think her defense will be improved, and I think it might take her a year but she be putting up 20 points per game next year. This year its just about learning the in and outs and getting comfortable
Can clearly tell Paige is the most smooth and talented as a youngster, Caitlin is definitely the most prominent name today though and already a superstar, cant wait for Friday night!!
I hope that the women in the WNBA who are 30 and above move over and let the new crop of women basketballers from college take over. They are fresh are show women and have the fan base... If not college basketball will keep outshining them
Alexis Morris got ran over by the vets in Connecticut for talking like this. Half of the girls in highlight reels lack fundamentals and can’t compete at the professional level. Coaching staffs say it every year and no one listens, then people get in their feelings when their fave gets cut.
@@AlexOttoThe Bay is getting a team in 2025. More teams will be added later. Athletes Unlimited starts next week and you can see a mix of vets and rookies go at it. The games will be streamed on ESPN.
Sooo true the wnba is too mismanaged to capitalize on these young stars instead player's like turasi and Candace Parker hold up roster spots instead of giving young talent a legit chance to make a roster
Paige is definitely the most skilled girls HS basketball player I’ve ever seen, and I’ve thought this since the first time I ever saw her play. Reminds me of Kyrie’s game. Love her attitude and approach as well, she’s different like that, and she’s got the biggest upside of any of these players.
@@thecoach11 You must be kidding right? You can’t be a coach of the modern game. She’s a horrible analytical player. She’s great at rim pressure and mid range shots but she’s horrible 3 pt shooter and non playmaker strictly looking to score. That’s not going cut it in the Pros when she actually faces better wings & elite bigs waiting for her at the rim. She will put up points in college with low efficiency because she has the green light to put 30 shots. Caitlin Clark however is the future she’s an analytical dream 3’s, layups, and assists with unlimited range and elite playmaker. That’s the modern basketball player which means she’s the future coach sorry!
90% of the young women will be going pro if not all. Only 2 I see that need more work in this video. Audi Crooks is my favorite one out of all. She is a beast to deal with.
Ngl LSU was a lil too star studded for Haley. She look like a certified bucket in highschool and Louisville. With LSU she looked like a role player ngl.
😂😂😂 You guys are hilarious and obviously don’t know modern ball. The modern game is all about analytics( 3’s, lay ups, & assists) and sorry JuJu is a horrible analytical player. She has a dinosaur game (90’s early 2000’s) bad 3pt shooter, mid range killer, but low efficiency high volume scorer, and little to no playmaking. Her along with Hailey, Paige, Hannah, Reese, and most of the others in the video are going struggle mightily once they face elite wings and bigs the W because they are not elite or good 3pt shooters. Now, Paige is close if she can consistently hit 3’s she has the ability and everything else. The modern game required you be a good or elite 3pt shooter that can also pressure the rim and playmake if you’re going to truly make it in the W just like the NBA. Caitlin is the only one in the video currently that’s W ready. She’s an analytical dream unlimited range great shooter, pressures the rim, and she’s an elite playmaker. She’s going to dominate in the W easily because she will have the best teammates she has ever played with. I fully expect her numbers to be better in the W. No more double and triple teams. The two man game with Boston is going to go crazy. The others are and will be great college players but they will have to improve the games to be good in the W. It’s not about athleticism a lone anymore you have to be a good 3pt shooter. There’s a reason Paige is going back to school and Hailey & Reese have not declared because they know. 😂
@@Darth_LordB2 Paige is a career 42% from 3. She has absolutely no issues torching a defense from all 3 levels. She will have no problem adapting to the next level.
I'm surprised at how unathletic Angel Reese looks compared to all the other girls. Her movements are not fluid at all, and she has a very awkward shooting technique, and brings the ball down head level even shooting layups. I was surprised that a mock WNBA draft had her 6th pick. Now I see why.
Yeah. Her skill set is strictly in the interior.. with her tenacious defense, rebounding. And rugged inside scoring.. but I believe it's her intangibles (confidence). Is what really makes her special.
@@araynova She is actually very athletic for her size, just not the most skilled player in this video. Most of what makes sense about her is her physical ability. She is quick for her position; I've seen her get in the passing lane quicker than most guards. She jumps high enough to block a 6’7 girl shot, and she also gets to rebound quicker than the center, who was right under the basket and wasn't even close to the basket. Her widespan, as long as hell I got, meant she had been making it this far off her physical ability, which is very athletic. She looks nicer now, though less weird. I think the reason she looks weird here is because she ran track; she didn't even play basketball until later on.
Juju Watkins is better than them all and she hasn't even scratched the surface. She is the future of Women's Basketball. If Caitlin and Page are steph curry, she is Jordan/Kobe. Complete Two-way player.
rare? These girls have grown up on camera, there's nothing rare about footage of their games, their daily lives, or anything else. it would be rare to not have 1000 hours of their footage.
