ha ha ha. right in the beginning indian batsmen were stunned by the difference in pace & quality. A few weeks prior to this series it was all so easy with aqib,mohd akram, azhar mehmood bowling at 130 kph and then all of sudden arrives waqar with his pace above 140 kph and swing and seam...

@@YasirKhan-jq2nw i wasn't talking about the great wasim akram. i was only talking about the ordinary mohd akram. and mohd akram bowling at 140 kph? haha cmon please watch the sahara cup 1997 series. him along with azhar and perhaps slightly injured aqib bowled at a very very friendly pace against the mighty indian batting lineup.

@@YasirKhan-jq2nw that test must have been an exceptional case for him because his overall career performance shows otherwise. Again I request you to check out the videos of sahara cup 1997. The pitch was so hostile for batting that the indian less known bowlers troubled pakistani greats like saeed,inzamam,malik but mohd akram aqib azhar failed to do so to the indian batting. Pakistan deservedly lost the series because their bowlers simply failed to exploit the conditions like the way the indian bowlers did. Just imagine if waqar or wasim had played that series. It would have been nightmare for the indian batsmen. Mohd akram played 15 or so tests. Why? Simply because he was not good enough to force his way into the first team and only had to rely on replacement call ups.

@@wasifislam7272 actually the conditions were interested in that series, however, in next series the pitches were slow, so bowlers may be bowling accordingly as per condition

7:17 this is where Rashid Latif was far better than Moin Khan. But Rashid was not "acceptable" for then captain Wasim Akram, while Moin was his favorite. Interestingly both Moin & Rashid were best friends and belongs to Karachi.

You are wrong. Sachin uses one of the light weight pads in World Cricket. It appears to be heavy but it's light weight to help him run faster

Neither Saeed Anwar nor Sachin Tendulkar was a captaincy material. I hope that Hyderabad will host International matches again. PCB is now Punjab Cricket Board, who helds matches in Lahore only.

Pakistan and India used to play each others on those days on regularly basis. They were geopolitical rival since 1947 but cricket and other sports resumed. They had faught 3 war but sports resumed. They had faught in Kargil in 1999 but sports resumed. Even that year played each others record time despite war!! My question is why now India have decided to stop sporting relationship with Pakistan when trade is resume? When they can played even during war time why not now? Perhaps BJP doesn’t want that.

There is 1 Stadium Called Niaz Stadium... Which recognised as an only International Stadium in Hyderabad. But also there are much grounds like Qasimabad Cricket Ground, Board Office Ground Afzal Ground in Latifabad and more

I hope that Hyderabad Peshawar Quetta will host International matches again. PCB is now Punjab Cricket Board, who helds matches in Lahore only.

Only five Tests have so far been played at Hyderabad two each against England and New Zealand and one against India. Last test was held in Nov 1984 between Pakistan and New Zealand. Only seven ODIs have so far been played at Hyderabad, 3 against Srilanka and one each against Australia India Zimbabwe & West Indies. Last ODI was played in 2008 between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
