In today’s episode of Retro Renew, I’ll be taking a look at a Game Gear backlight kit that comes from Japan. One of the interesting things about this kit is that it isn’t the easiest to buy, you can’t simply order one like most mods. This kit is only sold in Japan meaning you’ll need to use a proxy service like Sendico to purchase it, or have a friend living in Japan buy it and ship it to you. So, since it’s not the easiest kit to buy, is it even worth the trouble? Let’s find out!
