What’s going on guys and welcome back to the channel! A couple months ago as I was scrolling through my recommendations, I came across a video uploaded by a friend in China that took me by surprise. This friend is Roller Coaster Dream, and she has an amazing channel with solid POVs and content of a lot of the coasters I cover. Definitely check her and her team out, they’ve been amazing to me in reaching out and letting us use their footage. Anyways, the video had a thumbnail of a pretty rad-looking launch coaster, that I couldn’t quite figure out what it was. The track style was something I wasn’t used to, but upon closer inspection, I quickly became familiar with the manufacturer. With 4 inversions and nearly 3,000 feet of track, today’s coaster is the first major launch coaster from its manufacturer, and it’s so new and under-the-radar that it doesn't even have a name! So what is it? And where does it come from? This is the story, of Sanya Silk Road Happy World’s, unknown Catapult Coaster! 👑🎢

This actually looks like a great ride. I wouldn't be mad if Jinma builds more of these.

A coaster model similar to this (same trains) is set to open at an upcoming theme park in Missouri in collaboration with their subsidiary Noble Rides; making it one of Jimna's first roller coasters to open outside China

I'd say that Jinma rides have greatly improved over the years by the looks of things. I remember those awkward looking SLC clones they used to make. Glad to see them try something different. Would definitely give this ride a go.

They are definitely on the right track, I like the direction they are going with this, starting with a short layout. Jinma rides (Or Golden horse as it was known as), Is on the right track, but there are still a couple of kinks to work out. For one, They need a track style unique to them, something that makes it stand out. Secondly, transitions. They are getting better at it, that is good, but it still does need some work. But other than that, they are on the right track. Hopefully they can stop relying on copying other's designs, and make their own!

So nuts they freaking stole B&M's track design. You'd think it'd be protected. At least they chose to copy the best track in the industry. Most expensive, I think, but it's the most reliable, allows for largest spans and I'd imagine its the strongest. Some insane views that person was filming from, no safety fences or anything. Nuts, haha.

They couldn’t get away with building it outside of China, the Chinese government turns a blind eye to domestically owned companies stealing patents

It's slightly different from the B&M track, no polygonal shapes in the box, different shaped tris, etc. Its also pretty hard to design a new track now-a-days because so many have already been used.

Jinma and China in general seem to have bought a lot of coatser from s&s, intamin, b&m, vekoma among other to basically examine their techniques, construction and other things to basically combine all the best attributes. While I can respect this to an extent it also feels a bit cheap and like stealing. Idk just my opinion

Jinma really went and made a launched, sit-down B&M coaster with lap bars and airtime before B&M did.

They definitely shouldn’t steal B&M’s box-spine track, but apart from that, this actually looks great! Decently punchy launch, really forceful-looking loop, and very fast paced! And wow, just lap bars! Pair that with the decent profiling, and I’m sure it’s fairly comfortable! Not bad Jinma!

This is the kind of ride I’d love to see B&M building, I’ve never understood why that haven’t made an LSM launched version of their sit down/floorless model even though they’re obviously capable of building launched coasters

I really like this, and I would be pretty excited if an American park decided to purchase one of these. Heck, throw in a batwing element and I'd be cool with this filling the long vacant shoes of the Orient Express at Worlds of Fun. Which is not something I say lightly, the OE deserves a proper replacement.

It's not completely unknown...this coaster train was at Orlando IAAPA as this layout was supposed to be at that new Oasis at Lakeport Park in Missouri. Somewhere along the way the Jinma concept got dropped for 2 Vekoma family coasters🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Kinda odd bc the coaster train had the park name on it so it seemed like they were far along in negotiations.

I think that you should make a video diving into Nobel Rides. It is a company owned by the Jinma Rides company and sells coasters in western markets. I know very few people who know about them, even though they were at the last IAAPA and have a wide selection of models and clones.

I'd say that B&M will be making their launch coaster more like this and other vekoma, Mack and intamin launch coasters. I think the "surf" coaster at sea world is just a very vanilla basic version of a new coaster they want to produce and who knows maybe they'll have a 2 across sit down train available in addition to the stand up. The Surf Coaster just reminds me a lot of the very first couple B&M stand up coasters.

Why are all of the comments talking about stealing B&M’s track design Like 1. Intamin and Giovanola both used the same track at one point 2. This doesn’t look the same as B&M track, it is Like a cross between Maurer and B&M 3. Compare S&S, Premiere, modern Vekoma, and modern Intamin; compare Gerstlauer, Mack, and most Intamin, why is it ok for them to use similar designs but not Jinma

This looks really good actually. I don't know anything about the Chinese manufacturers aside from them replicating designs from larger builders. It would be neat to see a series that focuses on these Chinese manufacturers and some of the crazy rides that they have made.

The Ride looks really Awesome, would like to Ride it. But I am frustrated, that they still use the B&M Track Style! They stole it from B&M! Generally they innovated pretty good in the Last Years, but they STILL Use the Stolen Track of B&M! That´s really alarming, ´cause before it was stolen by them the Track was a Industry Secret

Don’t understand why you’re saying such nice words. Ok the ride looks great, but it’s B&M’s track and Intamin’s trains. So, it’s not their design, but a clear ripoff like what they usually do.

I like the layout and look, but It's a company that doesn't create their own succes. It steels ideas and doesn't pay for the rights of using track and car design. Always brings a bitter taste in the mouth....
