When I was a kid, there was a girl in my school that had gold/silver heterochromia. Not blue and brown, but gold and silver. I absolutely loved her eyes and I've never seen anybody else with that color combo before.

I went to school with a golden girl. She had golden-blonde hair, a golden-fair skin tone, and her eyes were a light golden tan color I've only ever seen in birds. Just the most gorgeous coloring. She was nice, too.

Growing up, my eyes were dark brown. It wasn’t until my late teens that they changed colour. They first went hazel, then they went fully green before settling on central heterochromia. I have golden amber around the pupil and green on the outer part of my iris. I also have some very dark brown freckles in my eyes.

I have three colours... The inner ring is a narrow, sunburst-shaped light brown ring, then comes the normal green and the outer ring is normal blue with a black visible border around my iris... You can see the different colours easily and separated from each other. I love them as they are :) They are perfect!

I happen to have amber eyes. When I’m wearing black or blue, my eyes turn almost yellowish, and when I’m wearing other colors, they look orange. When I cry, they look very clear, and it almost scares me sometimes… Sometimes when I’m spaced out, my stare is apparently so sharp, one time I was told that I looked like I wanted to kill someone.

One of my eyes is hazel & the other is amber•-•& that's why many of my classmates were afraid of me when i was younger...but now they say it's pretty!i appreciate them now!

My grandfather had grey eyes. They were so pretty.

I also used to have sectoral heterochromia, but with blue and hazel, and it came undone when I got older and the hazel color started taking over

I've light gray eyes with a dark grey outer ring but when I was young I really wished they were blue or brown. Not bothered by them anymore but my wife has always loved the colour of them. Gray eyes seem very common in Northern Ireland to me.

I remember in my old school one of my classmates had silver eyes. And sometimes when the light changes the color of her eyes would change. Sometimes it would change to gold or green or sometimes even blue. And most of my classmates would crowd around her trying to see what kind of color her eyes were that day.

During my teenage years I had a close friend she had yellow eyes, they where absolutely beautiful I wish I had told her, appreciate of the unique should always be expressed.

I don't have big dark pupils but my brown is so dark it slightly looked like one dark brown eyeball. I know only one little girl who had a blue and green eye, one of the eyes had dark brown spots, the multi colored eyes you just mentioned.. very husky looking! Neat

I have blue eyes, and in the winter they turn almost gray, in the summer they are icy blue, and sometimes they look deep blue or bluish-green depending on the way the sun is positioned. And my brother has one brownish-hazel eye, and one Amber-fading into green eye. I think that it's really cool to be able to not only see different types of eyes, but learn about what causes them too!

Storytime!! When I was a little child, my mom showed me pictures of myself and I noticed that I had some sort of gray eyes, but then as I got older, they started to become a bit green, but then stopped and then became like some sort of crossover mix of gray and green!!

My eyes change at least every year. In 5th grade my teacher compared my eyes to my enemy (lol) and we both had deep dark blue eyes with some slight brown. Then, in 6th grade, my little brother called them green and brown (it wasn’t brown it was a lil different), in 7th my friend called them silver as did my brother, and they’ve always had sort of central heterochromia looks with silver on the outside and the light brown on the inside I feel cool

All at the same time I was dating a lady with different colored eyes, had a friend with 2 different eye color and my dog had 1 brown eye with a speck of blue and a blue eye with 1/3 of brown. I thought this was amazing to have that many different colored eyes in my life.

Back in my primary school life, there were two brothers. One was older and one was younger by 3 years but they BOTH had heterochroma; one blue eye and one brown eye. Seeing it in brothers is actually pretty amazing.

I remember a girl in my first grade class had the most striking set of truly amber eyes! Funny enough, her name was also Amber. I, myself have grey eyes and love them! Apparently it gives me a piercing stare.....but also major light sensitivity.

My late fiancé has Sectoral Heterochromia, but her eyes was much more uniformed, being a blue in the middle and gray on the outer side, and it was like looking into a galaxy when I would look hard into her eyes.

Gray. I had no idea they were that rare (yet I guess I've never met another pair, either).. I recall it causing quite an uproar @DMV & several staff coming to examine my eyes before the boss okayed putting gray on my license. My parents call my eyes multicolored. Now it’s not where I’ve got two different colored eyes, but actually it’s whenever there’s a different lighting/angle then my eye color will change. Like in red lighting then my eyes look violet, but then in the sunlight my eyes look green. Like it’s weird but cool at the same time. I do get self conscious though since whenever I’m talking to someone they are always looking straight at my eyes like they’re waiting for them to change colors. But overall I rlly like my eyes. When me and my brother were younger, our eyes were kinda bluish-gray. (If i'm remembering right) Now that we're older, my eyes are dark gray, like my mom's, and my brother's are hazel, like my dad's.

Amazing video, I learned so much! However, I was sad, because there is another type of heterochromia you didn't talk about. It's called central heterochromia. Me, my brother and my mom have it. Basically you have a ring in your pupil that divides two different colors. Well, it's hard to explain. Look it up! :D

My Mom has a photo of me when I was a baby and my eyes were a bright gray, but sadly when I turned two they started to turn poop brown! I miss my gray eyes. They were so beautiful!

I had a friend back in highschool that had the yellowist eyes. Like bright neon yellow. And a different friend had blue and yellow splotches in both eyes.

Got a friend with sectoral heterochromia, one of his eyes is brown-blue.

Imagine having cat like eyes, while one side of one of the eyes was silver and the other green, while the other eye was black and red.

As a person with a mixed eye color of blue, green and gray I see this as an absolute win.

I actually have sectoral Heterochromia in both my eyes, though it is more prevalent in my right eye. And I have perfect vision so I can confirm it does not affect your daily life. I also had a friend in 7th grade who was albino Chinese, she actually had reddish pinkish eyes, but was blind, I wish she could have been able to see her amazing breathtaking eyes!

My eyes are pretty interesting because they are mostly a really dark green, but with a ring of brown around the pupil. I guess they could be considered hazel, but because of the specific coloration, they look brown until you see me in the right lighting.

I've got blue almost gray eyes, myself. Depends on the lighting (as stated here) sometimes they can appear to be really dark blue (gray) or really really light blue.

Genetically wise, my family has all 3(green, blue and brown eyes). Parent1 has blue, parent2 has green and my sibling has brown. When I was born I had a dark blue grey shade pair of eyes but as I got older the blue pigment became less. Right now my eyes are naturally grey but are effected by lighting wich makes them either appear slightly green, blue or a slight vibrant turquoise wich is a stage between the lighting affecting it from green to blue(vise versa). Another unique thing abt some people's eyes are the abnormally thick outer-layer of the iris wich created a darkened ring. Wich combined with a light inner iris shade becomes the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

You hear about them in Irish stories(I'm Irish/Japanese) but it's rare even there. It's rather lonely, honestly.

The rarest mutation in the eyes would probably be heterochromia with 2 colors on each eye, making it so that your have 4 unique colors, rarest combination being red to violet, and silver to black (maybe). No heterochromia with double eye colors has ever been reported since it is near impossible.

When I was in my early teens, colored contacts existed but were priced outrageously. So, I'm stuck shopping with my mother one day, and I caught sight of the cutest little biracial child, couldn't have been more than 5 years old. Her head was covered in loose gorgeous shiny curls, she was dressed in the cutest little dress, and, for some reason, my brain halted, and I "froze", basically just staring at this kid. I have no idea why I froze up like that, but I was rooted in the spot. Maybe the kid felt my stare, or not, but she turned and my eyes locked with hers... they were the most beautiful shade of purple/violet I have EVER seen. I managed to blink, grin & wave (she recipricated), and finally look away... But those eyes... I'm almost 48 years old now, and I can still see them, clear as day. It was that day I wanted colored contacts, but, alas, even normal ones were expensive (severe astigmatism), and, in my 20's... an autoimmune disorder has left my eyes too dry for contacts. And I haven't ever seen that shade of purple/violet ever again - in contacts, clothing, etc. But, I can see it clearly if I think of her and shut my eyes. To the girl with those gorgeous unique eyes, I hope you've had a great life so far and that you have still have greatness coming your way.

I have weird eyes because my eyes always seem to be different colors in different shades of light, although the closest color seems to be green. But the one thing that is always been sure, is that I have a brown sector in my left eye.
