You really did an awesome job. In 1996 WC quarter final, Wasim did not play intentionally. Please make a video on it as well.

Guys Good Work, must be a lot of hard work and efforts in combining data together. Things I liked: Slow pace of pronunciation Not loud background music Less images Improvement required: Two Urdu words are fumbled but its not a big thing (minor) Suggestions for channel: >Review of Just Bhandari report >Similar program about grouping in Pakistani team from 90’s to 2020 (All in One program), no one ever discussed them. How groups in team kicked Captains and couches >program on biggest chamchay of captains > program about pakistani players who played more cricket because of their chamcha geeri (p.s: program name.: Most over rated chamchas of Pak Cricket) > More suggestions InshAllah in next video Keep it up Raza from Melbourne Australia

The Special took a couple of weeks, wanted it to be as extensive since it is everything reported. Thank you for the feedback and the suggestions! The Bhandari Report alone does not have enough information but has been covered in its entirety as part of the ‘99 WC Special. Will probably follow up on your suggestions at some point, especially the grouping one. Look forward to future suggestions.

Majority of the self-proclaimed whistleblowers themselves turned out to be beneficiaries of match-fixing. Manoj Prabhakar being the biggest example. If at all an ATG like wasim akram was involved, one should recall he was introduced to "everything" by seniors like javed miandad and imran khan, particularly the lavish wealth and elite society connections. Besides, in an interview with THE GUARDIAN, khan had once boasted of making close to US$ 1,00,000(GBP 60,000) betting AGAINST pakistan in an ODI during their 1996 tour of England, but since he had retired and betting wasn't illegal, nobody gave it credence. Crux, if akram was a fixer, he got to know the bookies through someone influential enough.

Doosra View Any way coming to the content. I think the indian past cricketers were too indulgent in match fixing like pakistani cricketers as u mentioned about great kapil and many others but their board really tied a brief knots at their careers that in now days they are very much reluctant to do such crimes even in this century. On the other hand PCB didnt make most of it and letting things happens repeatedly

It’s unlikely that most Indian cricketers would be incentivized to fix matches with the size of their current payrolls. But Rashid did warn of a higher probability of fancy fixing in leagues, that’ll be covered in part 2. For years yes but PCB is finally pushing towards legislation to curb fixing, more on that to come in the next podcast IA.
