One of the best interviews I've seen here. Bateman is such a genuine guy. I'm happy he's a Raven and pray he has a year beyond expectations

If he plays at least 12-13 games gets over 800 yards and some clutch plays, that’s a win season for him

This was the realest I have ever heard Bateman be, and it excites me to see where he is going this year now that he is better but not bitter.

I was ecstatic when we drafted Bateman. I have no doubt he can be a 75+ catch 1k yards guy given the opportunity

Off the football field, glad things for him are stabilizing and he's been able to come our resilient through the challenges and tribulations. On the field, he hasn't been good enough. Mostly due to injury and partly due to inconsistency. This has been frustrating to fans because we see glimpses of the raw talent, athleticism and super high potential (I know probably even more frustrating to him). I personally think he's the most talented receiver on the squad, Zay notwithstanding. To make the disappointing results worse, he's not been bereft of off-the-field noise. Complaining about EDC's criticism of WRs on social media. Seemingly missing out on opportunities to connect with Lamar during the off-season. What we want is for him to tie all of those "potential" indicators to be performance drivers on a consistent basis. It starts with a full and complete bill of health. He is probably on my top 3 favorite players list on the squad, but at some point the production has to match the promise / potential. The results have to match the reckoning. This season is huge -- he will have the opportunity to play a lot, without real competition behind him. Will he be fully and finally healthy? Can he be consistently produce and make an impact? I hope it happens this year!

Best lounge interview I have seen. So many people are pulling for him. Very grounded, real and genuine. Work ethic and character=great success.

Bateman is the best WR on the team. I'm not knocking Zay because he's also really really good. I think Bateman could be a top 10 WR in the league if he gets the targets. Zay, Bateman, Likely, and Andrews can be the best group of weapons in the league if we quit focusing on giving Andrews the ball and spread it out between the group.

all I ask is good health Bate 🙏🏽 him and Zay have the potential to be a great route running combo. Personally, I’d take Zay over Bate at this stage but we got them both. Go cook in September and beyond 🔥 Lamar got serious options everywhere this season 👀 it’s crazy to have 2 high level route running playmaking receivers. Andrews, Likely, Henry those are big bodies tough yardage guys, I expect Bate and Zay to open up games with the medium/deep threat with the speed YAC 🤩

I knew he was dealing with a lot outside of football but didn’t realize it was to that degree. I’m glad he’s in a good place now. Definitely believe he can be great because losing multiple family members like it would mess up anybody

There’s a hand full of of guys under WR that came and really made a name for themselves as a Raven. Hope he is one of them

I think as fans now that we understand the timing of everything that has happened to him, we are looking forward to seeing what he will do this year and are rooting for him. Yes, the relationship between us and him has not been perfect, and the vids of him cooking guys helped. But now that Monkin knows what he has in Bateman and he has a full offseason in the offense and with Lamar. We just hope for him to stay healthy and he will blow up. If he has a healthy summer, he will torch KC and roll from there.

Bateman is so chill and handsome. He’s a stand up guy who is very honest. Really love him. Can’t wait to see him play this year!!

If your head is in a bad place it 100% has an affect on how you perform, in any sport. Bateman is a solid receiver and will show off coming soon.

Im not saying 1,000 yards… Im content with 700 yards and 7tds, thats mid level production and very doable. With Zay, Andrews, Nelly, the King…. We got options, Lamar gotta spread the ball like never before. Can’t forget Likely and returning Mitchell. The ball needs to be in many hands this season.
