His acceleration and topspeed leaves 99 out of a hundred behind him. That´s something bankable! When people talk about his price they often forget it are for 5 years + possible 1 more. I see a true winner that the rest of the team have not learned to use yet...well, not learned or obstruct, pick your poison´. Rasmus have more to work on but all the key items on the checklist are present and for all to see. Rasmus, Rasmus, Rasmus!
@@dichaeloviclets be honest now he’s a below average dribbler compared to other forwards, he is still very stiff and dribbles slow unless he is through on goal or 1 on 1. Due to this he’s been missing passes that could’ve sent wingers through.
Sure hes not the greatest but saying he cannot dribble is just stupid. Ive seen many times where he dribbles 1v1, and hes heel dribble is top tier.@@jocklazer5526
To be honest he has done Alright so far this season considering his age and the chances he has had 8 goals and 2 assist for mtd and his national team is not bad
Seven goals for United in his first season, at age twenty, playing for a crap team who consistently starve him of service. I would say he's done pretty well. A lot of strikers his age are still playing academy football. This will be a world beater in a couple of years.
@@anigerianninja4577 how about 7goals for a twenty year old in his first season in the premier League? And one of the top goal scorers in the champions League this season at twenty years of age? That's pretty impressive if you ask me.The season is not over yet mind you.
@@anigerianninja4577 correction, it is actually 62million not 80million. But paying that much money is actually the biggest compliment you can pay a youngster. How many non-English 19year olds get sold for that kind of money? It's a show of faith in his potential to become one of the world's best in another two to three years. And based on his showing so far, he's definitely on the right track.
I agree with you on this.. Absolute beast.. just look at how opponents guard him.. at least 2, 3 defenders surrounding him most of the time.. they are wary of the threat he pose..
This boy is the player who will become the new Wayne Rooney for United. We need to support him. The media and the fans, as well as those responsible for the club, should support this boy.
@@jesusvillanueva4093he would clean you up with his eyes closed, nothing but a keyboard warrior while he plays professional football, good on you buddy
This guy is struggling in man united, he was the man of the match against spurs but he had just 1 shot and that 1 shot was the goal and still had a assist with the little service he received all match
He’s struggling also due to service you’ll find that cross from Rashford is the only successful cross into Hojlund all season . Once they can find a right winger that can cross his fortune will be different
Yes, some matches have been downright embarrassing, not for Rasmus, but for his teammates ignoring him. They and their huge wages should be beyond ashamed and they should be kicked OUT. THEY are Man U´s biggest issue. Obstructive players with only one wish, to boot ETH so they can keep their high wages 6 months or more before they again have been busted as obstructionists. Stop firing managers and start firing players!
Is it a question of him getting better or his team starting to pass the fucking ball once in a while? I think we should look at the wingers instead of the strikers of United if we want to see improvement.
Its only greenwood missing from that starting line up and yiu will know who hojlund is. Constant supplies of the vall in the box will get keepers eating grass.
and a midfield behind him. bruno fernandes has been AWFUL... and that midfield has been non-existent. kobbi mainoo, an 18 year old youth player is keeping things together. mind boggling really.
Wow! Even Rashford can’t keep up with Hojlund’s pace. I hope he will be able to shine greatly in the future. He still have time for it. Hope he doesn’t inherit any bad culture in the squad. Hopefully…
Holjund is excellent and literally ANY other team would have utilized him more efficiently. He jus plays for crap team full of glory seekers who want the headline to be about themZ
How many legends have joined your great club over the past 10 years and failed, what makes you think this flop will be different to the rest? Heard it all before with Mount, Van De Beek, Dan James and about 25 others. Sold Pogba for £800,000, bought him back for £92m then let him go free. They can spot a legend from a mile off these mancs.
he has scored 7 in 20 starts for Man u so far, and 7 goals in 6 starts for Denmark, so 14 goals in 26 starts this season. not toi bad actually, but could get better
If we get Zirkzee, I need to see these two play up top together, the link up and final third bullying with the likes of Garnacho and Rashford will be something lethal.
if there was another striker to take some pressure off him.... been a whiile since utd has made an actual good investment ... now if they can only start surrounding him with good players he may kick on next season .... cz the talent is there but as with all young strikers he almost snatches at his chances but that will only improve with time
@@barryh.4220 - Over three leagues and internationals he has scored, I believe the actual number is *38.* That is not bad for a kid that has just turned 21.
These united fronts are superb. Can't wait to see Tanhag realize this and start focusing seriously on getting the best defenders and midfielders. He wastes too much time looking for more strikers but I think he's been evidently wrong. You can witness this fact if the boys join other visionary clubs!
I love him… great great potential to make great future for us… the team is not playing well at the moment and our forward players are not helping him well. Unskilled and clueless forwards and a coach who hasn’t settled his plans…. But at the end of the day we brought a boy to do a man’s job…!
Even with combination of full-strength, top-form Rashford, Bruno, Martinez, Hojlund, Garnacho, Mainoo, Dalot, Shaw, and Casemiro, it only takes Antony and Onana to undo everything.
Antony really isn't as bad as people make him out to be. Did United pay to much for him? Yes, of course they did, he isn't worth the price they paid. But that is not his fault, he is still good enough to be in United, just not as one of the starting 11 every game. But i agree about Onana, that was a terrible choice.
He’s been brilliant all year, the goals and service just hasn’t been there, he was world class in the champions league for us, the kids going to be special.
the reason he's not scoring so many goals is because he hasn't got the right service! I think Stephen Howson mentioned he's the least passed to striker in the league lol
Hojlund has always done well! Problem is he only had one supply line. The right side when Antony plays has no supply at all to Hojlund! The team looks handicapped when Antony plays!
despite all the big stats and brouhaha from Bruno Fernandez (and none are actual Assists), he doesn't feed or assist Hojlund enough and the kid is creating his own chances instead of relying on the midfield play. This is why I don't believe in his "chances created" or "covered most distance" stats. It's like saying Bruno took a test and finished more questions than other people in the exam hall but got zero for his exam.
His only and only one weakness is his poaching game. Many times (actually rare rare times) that there are crosses deep in front of oppo goalie, he couldn’t sense them
He is doing fine. People forget his age when looking at his price tag. And also the fact he is surrounded by extremely selfish individuals like Rashford who refuses to pass the ball, even when his teammates are open
Imagine how good he'll be with that press resistance when the team starts shipping him passes in the final third the way Fergie made the team do it for RVP. OOOOOF - please make it happen.
Lol, yeah, goals against Wolves, Spurs, West Ham and Newport must have done wonders for his streetcred .... three teams who are going nowhere, and who had important players missing .. and Newport, who would struggle to see off my local pub side!
