Raspberry Patch Update 

It depends on what variety you have some do better by cutting them down such as black and purple varieties, in order to promote a better harvest. Others like the red need to have all the dead canes removed from the row and cut down any runners but I like to replant the runners to make a wider row. Check what variety you have to make sure before cutting.

We just had all 30 of our chickens killed by hawks.and foxes. It's the second time it has happened with the year and cost for organic feed is almost triple the price compared to regular feed and we just stop eating eggs so it's not cost effective to keep buying more chickens. I'm hoping more beneficial insects can help this year but we'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for watching brother much love and respect.

You have my sympathy... I've been there many times with my free range chickens, though it's usually raccoons that get them here. Seems like everything just loves to eat chicken. :/
