Rassie Erasmus has made himself the chief innovator and giant rugby brain, so when he appoints a raft of new coaches...the rugby world takes note! Has Rassie assembled the team that will carry the Springbok's to 3 in a row?!
Eggchacers you are the man! I think you should consider doing a tour of South Africa. You building up a big fan base in SA. That's because of your unbiased commentary. Love you bro! 🎉
As an England fan, I’m proud that Tim represents the genuinely fair-minded, ‘proper’ rugby chaps amongst us. We are many but not necessarily the most visible and vocal. But we’ve always been here.
Tim please do not turn down people when they offer a place to stay, you will connect with real salt of the earth Springbok fans and the hospitality will be out of this world.Get ready for lots of braaivleis, biltong and beer. You deserve every good thing coming your way.I promise you do not be surprised if you do not have to spend a cent on uber/taxi's or a place to stay.
Hi! Genuine fair-minded but poor England fan here. Next time I come down to South Africa for an England/Lions tour, will you stand me a beer? Best wishes
Tim you have to attend the Paarl Interschools. Its the first week in August and the main game is the first Saturday of August. The game gets 26000 spectators watching a highshool game. It is the biggest schoolboy rugby game in the world.
I concur Tim stay a few weeks after the IRE series to watch this game. The breeding ground of Handre Pollard and so many others. You have plenty accommodation offers already
As a Boishaai oldboy I can only agree! The whole town gets into the interschools spirit. Shops get decorated in school colours and the city gets divided right down the middle into north and south. You'll get some gold from oldboys and such in terms of fan reactions as well! You won't be sorry Tim!
Tim when you're in Cape Town please can i take you out for a braai and beer?! You're gonna love our country! Thanks so much for your fair and unbiased commentary!!!
Excited about the 1st dedicated attack coach since 2018 (with AB pedigree to go) & new Law advisor position is the master chess move in the background. The Rassie era has cultivate the most disciplined Bok side ever and JP addition is another step-up
You know why we as South Africans like you because you were very honest with us as supporters during the World Cup. You are more than welcome in South Africa. Thanks you for doing so much for our Springboks through the media.
Tim you're my favourite rugby fan channel, and I'm glad you coming to SA..you'll love SA, especially CapeTown. I'd advise getting in touch with Juan de Jongh & Rudy Paige who has the 'BehindTheRuckPodcast' who will gladly show you around in CT
Rassie is a legend and he has fully engaged with a broad audience that includes people who know nothing about rugby, all genders and age groups because of his online presents. This is massive value for the team. As a Bok supporter, I think the team will be building for the next couple of years, so could be under pressure but this coaching unit will develop something special. Exciting times ahead!!!!
As you are a top man, you're going to be inundated with offers from Saffers to show you around share a beer etc. Enjoy it. To hear unbiased perspective is so refreshing.
And now because of your great reporting during the world cup you are well respected in South Africa and such a breath of fresh air in rugby commenting🙏🏻🇿🇦
Tim...love your channel...love your reviews...We can't wait to have you in SA. We are a diverse and beautiful country, friendly, singing, dancing, diverse cultures and languages, and a rugby crazy Nation, and you will love it here.
Ah Tim, I sense that you are becoming a bit of a closet Bok fan. I live in Hermanus, about 2 hrs out of Cape Town. I have a spare room and you are welcome to it if you want to pop down to the Whale Coast for a day or two when you are here. Even if you are passing through, it would be awesome to have a beer and a chat with you!
Tim you are going to get so spoiled when you go to SA. You are very well respected and appreciated there, and with the typical South African warmth and hospitality, don't be surprised if your family have to come looking for you to drag you back 😂
Hi Tim, after reading all of the comment, you will not need a camper van here in South Africa. Every SA rugby fan on your channel will be pleased and honoured to host you! As one of the earliest supporters of your channel, it was clear that you actually knew what you were talking about, your predictions being spot on. Best wishes from Durban!
Just watched a talk by Andy at the False Bay Rugby Club in Cape Town last week. What an interesting bloke and a great member of the coaching squad. Tim, when you're in CPT, please come visit "The Bay" for a beer and, if you're up for it, it would be fantastic to hear you speak. Regardless, it would be amazing to meet up. I'm sure there're loads of subscribers and fans of this channel in the area. As always, thanks for your channel - just fantastic
As a Bok supporter Tim, I’m naturally grateful for your praise of our leaders. I love the new coaching team. I bet Rassie will miss the genius of our out-going Head Coach. The team evolves as does a Country. I, for one am grateful for your rugby brain and analysis. Love how you drift away in thought on your much loved game
Tim, we thoroughly enjoyed your take on things from the camper during the RWC. You say it as it is, and for that most of us SAFFA's are huge fans of Eggchasers. You are going to LOVE SA and be welcomed with open arms~
Hey Tim. Another Bok supporter here. I love your channel, I only ever enjoy what you say about the Boks. Also, I have to say, you have already endeared yourself well to Bok supporters and being positive about the Boks as you have been will get you very far with us.
I watched the channel for the first time at the World Cup. What a joy to see the excitement about the game of rugby. I am also a South African living in Germany on a British passport. Believe me, Tim, you will be carried in South African hands if you go there. Thanks for a great channel.
Rassie for me is like a great chess player that knows where to place pieces for later in the game, when they will offer hugely valuable outcomes when possibly needed.
@1:51 I laughed way too hard at that! 😂 As an avid SA rugby supporter, I looked at the appointments, and went like, pretty nice, about right and this is gonna move us forward. After this video, you really got me excited about these appointments even more. As a Cheetahs supporter as well, I like the fact that Rassie made his name at Cheetahs and after Duane Vermeulen moved from Pumas to FS, made a good impact there too. 👍🏼
This makes me sonexcited for 2027! A threepeat is a huge ask but I could see this coaching team under Rassie getting it done. I do think thoigh that we're going to see a similar level of brilliance from NZ and I think the Springboks-All Blacks rivalry is going to be at it's strongest in the next few years. I CAN'T WAIT!
Thank you for the unbiased, indepth analysis of the Springbok coaching staff changes. You have a very special ability to read the game and to follow the characters that make this game of rugby so interesting. Thank you
Howzit Tim, the content is top-notch and keeps me engaged from start to finish. I appreciate the insightful discussions and expert analysis on all things rugby. Keep up the great work look forward seeing you in SA.
Rassie is smart, utilising every player he has at his disposal to play to their strengths while staying in line with the rules. I am not saying other coaches don't, but Rassie has a unique way of doing stuff.
This is the coaching Bombsquad right here. From 6-2 split to 7-1 split Nuclear squad and now Rassie brought fourth the coaching Bombsquad. Dream Team right here. Looking forward to Rassies 2027 World Cup plans. I feel the worlds first 8-0 split is going to be introduced in 2027. Ultimate Bombsquad.
@@TipOfAfrica0010 All we need to do is get that missing link for the 8-0 split and that missing link is Hacjivah Dayimani from the stormers. That shoukd be Rassies project for the 8-0 split.
Rassie is Rugby in SA loved by players and All fans black or white. The people he brings together wil combine AS ONE MASHINE. TIM YOUR PODCAST IS THE BEST Sans like your honesty and passion for the great game of rugby. Here Springboks inspire people to work harder dream bigger and that anything is possible. Theres no one like Rassie anyware in the world.
Love this channel, unbiased and straight to the point. Besides that, the bets thing SARU could've done was give rassie full reign over the team, this man brings so much to this bok squad and it's understandable his impact on this team.
Excellent analysis Tim - Love your work mate!! Enjoy your stay in our beautiful country when you come - and the mouth-watering home Tests vs. Ireland, then the All Blacks (not forgetting Portugal and Argentina too)!! 😊🙏🏉🏉🏉🇿🇦💚💛🍻🍻
Hey Tim! Another South African!! Not sure when you are coming to South Africa, but if it’s during flower season, you need to come to Namaqualand to see the flowers.
Loving the content!! Man you giving me international rugby withdrawals. I'm a saffa living in Perth Australia and it would be a pleasure to host you if you find yourself down under 🇿🇦
some of the claims made on here are 'media approved' opinions and not rugby opinions, but then the censorship, deletion and shadow banning is strong on this channel - only fan boy comments allowed,, as you will see from the comments that get allowed through..
I told Rassie he would be the Bok coach once, many many years ago and his answer was so earnest and so respectful of what that role meant to us and him, that none of his success surprises me.
love your show and found you during the WC.... when you visit SA happy to sponsor and challenge you and your travelling mates with a full golf fourball at my club in Jhb
Tim - you are brilliant! Your shows are so entertaining. I am not from South Africa but I do follow them and I know how important it is as a sport and cohesion factor for a country that is really mired in political and poorly governed country full of crime, corruption and inefficiency!
Love your show, Tim .. in awe of your in-depth knowledge & praise of SA rugby & unbiased appraisal of international players & coaches .. wishing you the warmest of welcomes to SA ! Hope you have a really great time while you're over here & would certainly love to see you as a guest on any one of the game analysis chat panels !
Thanks for informative, enthusiastic and balanced reporting. The best. I am cauciously optimistic about the Boks. They have a huge target on their backs, and I hope this coaching team gells and delivers the goods. We peak at the World Cup, but inbetween we slack off a bit. NZ and Ireland will be super motivated to move up in the rankings. The wheels seem to have come off France a bit.
Very innovative coach and trend setting. Going 3 in a row is extremely challenging, doing 2 back to back is amazing, to do 3....Oh so many things have to go your way.
Thank you so much for this. Just please be very careful when you're in South Africa. I am sure that you have heard this before many times but it is a very dangerous place and I would love you to keep making these videos 😊, so please keep safe. Ask for safety tips when you are there.
Thanks for the new video Tim! Great research work and insights that takes us into the mindset of Rassie and SA Rugby... Very very interesting times ahead! Your videos are the first I go to for my rugby fix... Keep up the great work! And you should definitely plan a visit to SA... Ireland tour coming up....hmmm...what an opportunity!!
When you're here in South Africa make sure you stay for the after match festivities. In Durban there are usually braais after the game and plenty alcoholic beverages to go around. All part of the rugby experience.
Selections make sense, Rassie big into alignment camps, and with Saffer players based in Europe, Japan and SA, Jerry covers welfare of players in Europe, Brown covers Japan(similar timelines) and the balance here in SA. Next level thinking and planning. Look forward to hopefully enjoying a beer when you are in SA.
