Rat King got a new recoil pattern | Final Shape 

This recoil looks very clean. The gun no longer covers the entire sight while firing

I literally said "Oh My GOD!" when I saw you fire the new Rat King for the first time. That's a serious improvement! My only issue with the gun was the visual recoil kicking it up so much. This gun has the potential to be meta!

I KNEW something was going on with Rat King when I saw the new Ornament & the Universal Armour Ornament for all Classes. The difference id ridiculous.

Rat king was one of the first weapons I tried out after the patch and I was blown away by how easy to use it was. It has overtaken traveler’s chosen as the best kinetic sidearm imo

God, finally. The visual recoil of this weapon has always been the thing I hated the most. It made tracking opponents in its range a nightmare. This is huge.

Wow, looks definitely better than I expected indeed. Gonna go and try it later to experience the feel of it on MnK

I get that you mentioned the opponents might not be well balanced ,but watching you start to break invis around 2 minutes into the first match just so they had a chance hurt to see.

This sidearm is so incredibly slept on and it just keeps getting buffed. When will people take notice?

Completely forgot they were changing its recoil animations. I pulled it out my vault to do the legendary campaign but, haven’t tried it yet.

I distinctly recall topfragging like crazy with M&K Rat King like a month prior to Final Shape, and I'm usually terrible. I think it was already fantastic

Now they just have to do this for all sidearms

I really hope this change makes it more playable on keyboard and mouse, you put me on rat king that gun is super fun

Rat King is one of my most user PvP weapons and it’s beautiful, I’ve yet to play the new dlc since I don’t own it from my preorder being cancelled but I’m making a prismatic PvP build with it when I can

This is just like the pistol recoil change Siege had way back.

I thought it was going to be a slight change, the kind you would have to play with to notice, but no it is noticeably better recoil. I'm looking forward to trying out Nightstalker with that now, thanks Cam, gl with the raid! 2:07 also, I love how you're intentionally breaking your invis throughout the game to make your duels more fair, but your habits are so strong you delay the reload here anyway

oh i was wondering why there was so much rat king cosmetics without it being changed but i forgot the recoil

the 450 recoil does work as a superficial range buff, atleast on controller it's easily able to compete with zen moment 300's at any range, there's a new world drop sidearm that can get 60 range with surplus and threat detector, and it'll have max stats besides range 90% of the time and I really want to know if crazy stats weighs out vs the 10 range loss against drang.

as a MNK-exclusive player and avid Rat King lover, this is the best thing in the entire Final Shape.

Very excited to try it out.

Its feel really nice to fire now and i dont even have the catalyst yet i also think this was needed for rat pack to feel good with the higher fire rate.

I have not been playing much due to family stuff. Slowly working through the campaign when I can play. I like rat king but haven't used it recently!

I've been using a couple other sidearms and they also got the recoil fixed, they're somewhat usable now.

Warden's law got a new perk that increases handling and aim assist when you take damage, can you revisit it again to see if it feels better?

1:30 How is his recovery starting so quickly? That's seems way faster then just having tier 10 recovery.

I hate using rat king because of the full auto. I can't shoot just 1 bullet at a time; even the tiniest tap of the mouse shoots two shots; and that makes it just feel awful and unresponsive. Wish there was an option to turn it off.

it looks wrong because the rat king has too high of a bore axis and too much reciprocating mass for that much control

Rat king was good before, it’s just that it’s rat king and no one want to use it. It’s pretty busted now
