Ratboy Genius Dreams Minecraft is literally the greatest musical of all time. It deserves a broadway adaptation.

It's funny, everyone thinks these videos are weird and dumb, yet no one realizes how much work and effort goes into these videos.

It's actually quite clever how he filmed the rollercoaster part. He would have had to press f5 and drink an invisibility potions, and turn off particles. Then he edited in the Ratboy model. Props to you, sir.

This is actually super cute and sweet, apart from how creepy it looks and sounds.

it is an extremely poignant experience to watch ratboy genius hover and spin above his cart, flying swiftly over that snowy wonderland. he appears so peaceful and calm, divine even, yet underneath his placidity one may sense a fearsome determination.

Very amazing stuff. The story telling is poetic, the art direction is the way most artists and animators should go. The music is breathtaking as well. Not only that, it touches my emotions without being forced upon me. This truly is an ingenious show.

*SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN STARSHIP GENIUS* I feel like Clyde is a seriously underrated character. Every line he says in this episode subtly reflects his life of being stuck in an endless time loop. He knows this place inside and out, and isn't surprised at all to hear Ratboy's plight, as if he's heard it a thousand times before (which he probably has). As for why he makes Ratboy Genius ride the roller coaster, I guess that's just his way of saying "life's short, live while you can". He already knows everything that's going to happen, so there's no harm in letting Ratboy enjoy himself as long as he gets back to his quest in a better mood. That, or he's trying to keep him distracted so as not to interfere with Ratboy's friends' rescue plan.

"I like Little King, but he's kind of a dope." He's implying he could have done it much better and that LKJ is incompetent. Clyde is the real mastermind here. The man behind the man.

That "oh yeah" at the end of the roller coaster gets me every time.

At first the artstyle and voices disturbed me, and I could only enjoy the story and music. But they uniqueness of the art and voices soon grew on me, and now I feel that much would have been lost had they looked and sounded more normal. I love this.

So glad I put off watching this for 7 years so it could specifically break my quarantine addled brain in a special way and make cry.

But its just perfect, the blend all makes sense for some reason! half the people i showed this got obsessed just like me, but what is it that makes this perfect?!?!?!?! As creepy as the characters look, and as cheesy the dialogue is, Ratboy Genius is really quite relaxing.

I've been a fan of RBG for a few years, but keep coming back to the "dreams Minecraft" series because it's so masterfully crafted. Obviously the music, but even down to the lyrics. Rhyming diversion with excursion? Beautiful.

I love how when people see these out of context they're like "ew what" but none of these comments are negative or ironic. Ratboy Genius is a genuinely amazing story. It's awesome in both the figurative and the literal sense. As an amateur writer, this inspires me to take my stories a little less seriously, because they don't need to be deeply intellectual/highbrow or anything to be _good._ If you see this, I love your work!

Is its piano music original? Sounds pretty damn good

Roller Coasters is one of the best RGB songs. I wish that RBG had voice actors for songs like these, but the synth voices add to the series' charm.

This series is comforting to me, and I'm just impressed with it all. The story is simple, yet the storytelling is engaging. The dialogue is odd but formal and verbose, with only basic rhyming that make things fun. The background music complements RBG's whimsical adventure across the lands and on the winding rail tracks with well-made scores that match the pacing. Most of all, the musical scenes despite the often nonsensical subjects have good lyrical structures as well as mind-blowing instrumentals. Also, for me personally; RBG is very gentlemanly and likeable- and this series does a good job of making me root for him. I wish I was this creative!!!
