My favorite weapons from Up Your Arsenal came from Going Commando. The Lava Gun, Bouncer, Shield Charger, and Plasma Coil are all some of my favorite weapons from the whole franchise.
@@KreamS0DA Different strokes for different folks. Either way you can't deny the epicness of the Plasma Coil. Nothing is more satisfying in video games than using the Plasma Coil and having it evolve into the Plasma Storm
+2300ism Well I mean, give Ratchet shields AND armor and he trumps Jax. There's no proper matchup that has one character own in literally every scenario.
Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal have probably my favourite weapon line ups in the series. I do remember Tools of Destruction having a decent line up as does A Crack in Time.
One thing I've noticed is that in Going Commando, the Bouncer is more powerful than the Plasma Coil but in Up Your Arsenal, it's the opposite, they nerfed the Bouncer and buffed the Plasma Coil, also imo the Blaster was so much more effective in the first game than any of the later games's take on it.
+Bakunin i loved the design of Annihilator but i didnt like sound effect of firing the weapon and also once you upgrade it has bouncers coming out of it o_O its only meant to be associated about rockets. Yeah i know im bitching about little details apologeez.
Nayem Rahman lol its fine. i find the little details the most important. i didn't like the little bouncer bombs all that great if the enemy was in the air they didn't do much.
Bakunin what about the BFG? Doomguy killed Hell with it. Don't get me wrong tho, Ratchet and Clank is my childhood and Ratchet is definitely one of most badass character I've ever played with, with the most awesome weapons
The Best combo of weapons to use from Ratchet 2 and 3 was the Plasma Coil and Tesla Barrier. 2nd had the added bonus of using the kilanoids alongside that. You were virtually untouchable
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how utterly _powerful_ the Blitz Cannon sounds? Probably my favorite firing sound in any Ratchet & Clank game ever.
Raikaria I think it becomes the most powerful single shot weapon in the game (not counting hoverbomb). Considering it is 1,500,000 bolts, it better damn well be.
Actually; they're not nerfed. It's just the enemies are BUFFED. It'll take as much ammo/time to kill an enemy with the base Tesla Claw in R+C2 as it does with the basic Wrench in the same game. Basically; damage scaleing leaves those weapons in the dust. The Mega versions; however... no clue why the Bomb Glove got such a big buff compared to the Visi/Claw.
Super dope video bro but when you showed the weapons from RAC 2 and 3, you selected them too fast and it was hard to see the name of the weapon before you started using it. Other than that, the video is cool and I'm a subscriber now.
This brings back memories, I loved a lot of these weapons and to be honest there are a couple I've never even seen before, then again its been a king time since I've played R&C, I really miss playing DEADLOCKED, that was Fun! you should do a video on those weapons MAXED!
My 3 favourite from each, for their creativity balanced with aesthetic and fun factor: 1 - Tesla Claw, Decoy Glove, Suck Cannon 2 - RYNO II, Megarocket Cannon, Plasma Coil 3 - Shock Cannon, Rift Ripper, Liquid Nitrogen Gun
@@SPCMovies Worst: 1 - Drone Device, Drone Device, Drone Device 2 - Clank Zapper, Tesla Barrier, Hoverbomb Gun 3 - Gets harder really, because at this point they're all just recycled from the old
Brandon its also fun to see that your weapons progressively become outclassed in the order you get them. Starting with the lancer. A megacorp weapon. It has no real niche perks too like homing or being able to be set like the turrets then switching to another weapon so it suffers the worst
I found the evolution of melee and sniper weapons really interesting. Whilst the walloper is a unque and ammo less weapon, it fails to cover surrounding enemies and does not necessarily deal enough damage to the enemy, thus resulting in taking intensive damage. The plasma whip acts as a much better alternative due to it higher damage and area of effect. The same applies for the flux rifle. Whilst both sniper rifles deal high amounts of damage, I do prefer the authenticity of aiming down a scope, thus improving accuracy as well. While I would argue its superior to the Visibomb, I do wish you could use both as using TV missiles was one of the best and most adaptive weapons in ratchet 1.
Weird thing with the walloper, the electric shield generated during a punch used to eat projectiles in the original game if you timed it right. So you can punch through bullets to close the gap on enemies. That mechanic was taken out of R&C2 for some reason
the scorpion flail is so much better than both of them and the fusion rifle in deadlocked was so overpowered. deadlocked's weapons were more powerful and streamlined than ratchet and clank 3's but had limited selections.
My favorites are from the first Ratchet game I played: Going Commando. The ones I really miss and used all the time were the Heavy Bouncer, the Rynocirator, the Rift Inducer and the Turret one.
Anyone else's favorite was the Qwack-O-Blitzer? Shit was amazing for crowd control. Helped me beat the 100 round fight at the arena once it was fully upgraded
Carlos Yanes isn’t that what the liquid nitrogen gun is for though. Obliterating everyone around you in a radius of its range. I think it would be better in the arena since the ducks spawning explosive eggs staying around matters more there because enemies come to you rather then you approaching the enemies.
Ratchet and clank 1 favourite 3D Platormer of all time, Ratchet clank 3 YUA was good too when it brought the online Multiplayer but the 1st one hands down had the most iconic Original sound tracks in gaming.
More on the fact that Ratchet has a way bigger arsenal of weapons at his disposal. Even the gun mods from Jak 3 wouldn't hold up against Ratchet's firepower.
In Deadlocked/Gladiator, he gets a gun that literally summons beams of light that decimate every non-boss on screen, and that's just one example from one game.
As much as I love Ratchet, the only way he'd beat Jak's Time Slowing abilities is with Clank or a Time Bomb. Other than that, he'd absolutely destroy him.
My opinion time! Best Bomb weapon: Nitro Eruptor Best Shotgun: Blitz Cannon Best Pistol: Blaster Best RYNO: Ryno II Best Sniper: Splitter rifle Best Machine-gun: Heavy Lancer and not to forget last category, Most reliable weapon Most reliable weapon: Qwack-o-Blitzer
In the fourth installment entitled, RATCHET AND CLANK up your arsenal with a broomstick, the way ratchet walks around with the broom up his arsenal is so much LMFAO that you were piss yourself laughing.
For me, it only took 4 months of UYA to max it out. It isn't that difficult as Challenge mode gives you the Multiplier, just play well and don't get it.
Hey. Could you please do a video on how to get all of the cheats? It has been 18 years since R&C began and only *ONE* other person has made a video about that.
Best Blaster: N90 Hurricane Best Rocket Launcher: Mega Rocket Best Shotty: Shock Cannon Best Bomber: Heavy Bouncer(GC) Best Support: Agents of dread Best Sniper: Splitter Rifle Best RYNO: RYNO II
Personally, I think the RY3NO at level 4 can stand up pretty well with the RYNO II. The RYNOCIRATOR is pretty sweet, but the flash of light is a drawback.
Have you played Challenge mode? Play that a lot and don't get hit, if You're a Pro, it should be no problem to max out the Bolt Counter as long as you have purchased every Weapon and piece of Armour, You'll get there Eventually, try doing Annihilation Nation a lot, do every challenge there is, in Challenge Mode, the final challenge gives you a good 3M Bolts, You'll be there in no time.
@@skeletondemon6009 I've bought Ratchet and Clank part one and two for PS 2 , I've been gaming for three hours, wasn't the weapons supposed to upgrade automatically?
@@bendermi If you're playing the first one the weapons might take a while before they upgrade but they DEFINITELY should be upgrading. The second game doesn't have this problem.
@@skeletondemon6009 Thanks I've just tested the second game and i can see the Bar under the weapon getting filled when hitting the enemy so no probs with the second. Thanks for the info.👍👍👍
There's also weapons from games like Deadlocked, Size Matters, Secret Agent Clank, Tools of Destructions, A Crack in Time, All 4 One, Qforce, Nexus and Rift Apart
Far and away the best super weapon they ever did was the RYNO 2. The original 4 games win out from the sound design and impact of the animations, and narrowing it down from there, the RYNO 2 takes the crown because the sound of it, the rumble it creates, and the endless cavalcade of fire as these accurate- but wild spiralling shots is just something of awe to behold. Never gets old. RYNO 3 is a close second, but done dirty by a rubbish upgrade that kills the hype SO quickly. Harbinger is absolutely fantastic too at no. 3, but goes too fast and gets old faster.
Is it alright if I use gameplay footage of this? More specifically, footage of the Bomb Glove, Pyrociter, and Devistator? It's for a video I'm making involving comparisons between the original and some LBP3 literations I made.
The Tesla Claw is the coolest weapon. The Tretrabomb Gun is the most broken weapon in the entire game. And the Rynocirator is LEGENDARY. I mean the way it sounds on the PS2 Version was Godlike! Too bad the PS3 version ruined the sound of the weapon by making it sound lazy.
@@bendermi i literally found my ps2 at my parents house couple of weeks ago with r&c 1 and 3 and i bought the second one that i have never played before. I was so excited to see my savegame in the first one with over a million bolts glitchless
@@BigAggLP The weapons you're having in your arsenal from first episode you can buy?/transfer in the second episode . I'm started playing the first episode, I've played this game for 20 or something years . What's your favourite weapon in the first episode?
@@bendermi i would say there is no favourite weapon for me. rida is nice but get boring quickly, i always tried to only use the wrench as much as possible.
You clearly can see the development over time, some weapons just received over time new iterations, other become upgraded . Ratchet n Clank has so many fun weapons to use. Sadly some of the most coolest weapons seem to have been ditched by Imsoniac n never have seen a return. The latest game Rift Apart could have brought back more, it has like 3 Weapon Set Rings, but doesnt fully fill up all slots, adding even weapond that you can get only from challenge mode and coudl have added there more than just two. When the next R&C game comes, I hope they bring back more and if not, then incorporate the cool weapon concepts that didn't make it into the game, as "Weapon Mods", It was sad to see, that over time, some gameplay concepts that were great for character development didnt find its way into Rift Apart, that woudl have made the game even much better and give the player alot more stuff to collect and more stuff for replayability. Yes, Rift Apart basically has Upgrades and "integrated" Modifications that are part of the upgradings, but what I mean is external modification, that the player can switch out and by that change, how a weapon functions. Because the R&C games have had over time also weapons, that are quite some similar, but then again also had certain features, that made them stand out, that could be ternal into exchangeable modifications, so that the devs dont need to add into the next game like 3-4 similar weapons, when it just needs to be only 1 of a specific archetype, that you can then mod how you want the weapon to work and have with these external weapon mods basically multiple different weapons in one. Rift Apart is truly a great game, but also one that sadly didnt make usage of all its potential to make the combat as phenomenal,, like the second and third game on PS2, which absolutely stand out still in my opinion as the best. Its also sad to see, that they removed the concept of Style Points as content, because it was always fun to do some crazy things in the game, in hope it could give you style points for rewards ^^ Also my biggest gripe of Rift apart is, that the game had basically zero minigames except the stuff with Glitch, if you want to call that a minigame and that there was absolutely no spaceship battles/spaceship traveling...I mean, come on, when games like No mans Sky can do that, somethign liek R&C can do this too to simulate real space traveling and have content in between. Miss also Mecha Clank-Battles ^^. Sure, the focus in RA was absolutely to introduce Rivet as a character and the ambiguous storytelling between both main protagonists, but in the end, there was absolutely the feeling, they could have made so much more with the game and its sad to see, that RA got no "Expansions" as DLC, to add more fun content to the game together with some fun side stories to give some other characters more screentime. Hoverboards is also somethign that comes to my mind now, that woudl have been cool in RA.
from all R.I.D.A. weapons i think the 1st is the best :D Of course the 2nd is strong and the 3rd is like Thanos finger snapping :D but the 1st one is think my all time favourite ;) and its the only one what is not from Gagdetron :) It was made by the Blarg :P
