1:53:54 “Just know from this day forth....you have a family.” Such a sweet, important and integral line.....and it’s interrupted by an NPC. Anyway, just wanted to finish the line for you because they caused you to miss it.
2:19:16 Ratchet has been taking advantage of the cracks in time to do puzzles and navigate, so now I'm imagining Clank fixing all these rifts and then cut to Ratchet just as he jumps to a slowly shifting platform held in place by time rifts only to have the platform immediately pull out from under him, and as Clank thinks "Wow, I really am doing a good job at this time fixing thing, I can't wait to show Ratchet," Ratchet is screaming, "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
32:09 it took me until this point to realize you were actually explaining the plot of ratatouille and not just doing a bit, cuz i genuinely have forgotten the latter part of the movie
1:41:14 I REALLY love this boss design, because as much as I love the Future series, one of the issues I have with them is how many of their levels seem to just be "shoot the thing/things until they die, then you get progress" instead of just "do a thing to progress and also shoot the bad guys during that" And this is the opposite to that because you actually have to do multiple things to progress besides shooting the thing until it dies Basically, it doesn't have the problem that a lot of the levels in these games have
Okay, so I've got a somewhat lengthy question to ask: I was watching "Penny's Personality Quiz Party!" stream, and Penny was repeating this comedy bit that she did "last night" (most likely meaning in this Ratchet & Clank stream) where she took an excessively long time explaining the context in which Remy said "LET'S GO GO GO!" in the movie. Do you know when (or if) this bit was in this stream? It seems to me like that "Remy has lost everything" quote is from the bit, no?
The Zonis we have are Tony , Jeffrey, Todd, Steven, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Tracy, Margaret, Juliet, Laura, Ellie, Joel, Abby, and... Deanit? She said it at 1:51:38 and I have never heard this name before, if If spelled it wrong let me know. Edit: Turns out it is Dina and I terribly misheard it.
I saw this in my subscriptions and immediately went - and I'm going to try to transcribe the noise I made phonetically - WOO-OOH!? That's how excited I am about these streams Also, I hope "how about a barbacue?" makes it into the donation sound bites in the future
It's just occurred to me-- did you ever see the recap cutscene that's supposed to play as the game installs? It seems like you might have gotten the reveal trailer instead for some reason, but there's a scene where Qwark's being interviewed about what's been going on in Future (and kind of also his holo-film My Blaster Runs Hot). It's nothing super special, but it's still kind of fun to see his take on ToD/QfB
I had to Google Azimuth's VA bc I couldn't figure out if he was voiced by someone I knew. I thought maybe it was Jim Cummings or Maurice LaMarce but it turns out to be someone entirely different
Felt pretty bad about that dono at the beginning, she wasn't even spoiling but pointing out a little fun fact that Penny won't even hear about organically since she has to play without the radio on. I love Penny but donating just to end up feeling bad about it just kinda sucks. I like how Jerma handles donos for example, which is to say that he doesn't lmao. Donos just seem like a really weird parasocial thing that I don't like in the scope of streaming, although I understand that not everybody has the priviledge to not engage with that system.
What a weird coincidence! My roommate's PS3 also had an overheating error last week! I wonder if this is a bad sign. Remember when everyone's PSP batteries started exploding last year?
are ratchet and clank going to be apart at the start of Rift Apart...? or are they going to be ripped apart at the beginning of it? Based on the title, idk
Mr. Zurkon has consistently been my favorite character in these games. I think the movie adaptation is weak af and Mr. Zurkon still an absolute delight.
