Maybe this was being developed first and they decided to turn in into a movie. Quite a shame they could have kept the techno genre while making it more cinematic.
@@MyCoxAflopingThe movie was in development first, and the developers at insomniac kept having to rework things in the game to match the movie. They eventually added the Qwark-telling-the-story-from-jail-and-being-an-unreliable-narrator framing device because they couldn't keep up with the constant changes being made to the film.
Those that say that the entire soundtrack is garbage compared to the original have no idea what they're talking about. It's a combination of elements from Ratchet and Clank 1 and various others, a re-imagining if you will, not a full blown remaster of R&C 1... If you want that, look at the Ratchet and Clank Collection.
@@gaso3035 you also have to understand that there's good sounding music and bad sounding music, whether its a remake or not, and the vast majority sounds bad in this game. Even if this ost was for a different game it would still be weak af
@@gaso3035 i just found it and i have to admit this is quite a banger.. in comparison to a lot of older stuff this is closest to something i'd hear in the older games
Michael Bross is such an amazing composer! Too bad this soundtrack was wasted on a redundant reimagening instead of a completely new Ratchet & Clank game.
cringe? no way man. this was is actually genuinely good, also talked with the guy who did an ost and this one is actually based off the original trainig course song which is nice. i love the original ost but let's give this one some credit atleast (this song i mean)
