Episode 9 of Rate my darts oche has taken Matthew Edgar and Andy Cornwall to Milton Keynes for the Denbigh Social Club. This turned out to be an unexpected gem with a very high rating! #darts #ratemy #dartboard
I always love these. Appreciate you guys for sharing these experiences. Wish we had you guys over here in the States starting with Salt Lake City to Rate My Oche in my neck of the woods.
I hope you fellas never rate our pubs in our league in Queens, NY. Harsh Andy would give us zeros! No oche (tape on floor), no food served, very loud music, foot traffic nearby, poor lighting, better bring a tablet to keep score if bar has Wifi. I’m jealous of what you guys have.
I would give less marks as only one board. Of match night no where to practise and of someone was using the board you turn up and can't use..spot on with the 8 boards should get bonus points
Would like to keep watching these videos but the sound/volume just sucks for something done by a company. I would expect this quality from a teenager with a cell phone.
One thing I would like to see is a little outro if some sort walking around the venue so we could get a feel of the atmosphere, and layout a bit more Still enjoying these though !
Finally a pub with Cask Ales but as ever Andy finds a way to mark it down. The scoring system is ridiculously harsh. Bars may not let you in to them i future because of your harsh scores. If I owned some of the pubs you’ve reviewed I’d be horrified. That was never a 7 out of 10.
Ok, so you're still putting out videos with the sound like this? As someone who works in audio, I'll tell you 100% that whoever is mixing & editing these videos is doing this as a deliberate action because they think it works. It doesn't. Humans have 2 ears and will never ever only hear a sound in one ear. The default state of a mono recorded mic is to be centrally panned and come out of both speakers equally. To achieve audio like in this video, someone has to make the deliberate choice to pan one left and one right. So basically, you ARE doing this deliberately despite being told that this is an awful way to mix or you've pre-made all of this series and can't be bothered fixing them. I suggest you have a word with whoever you got to edit these videos and pass this information on as they clearly have no experience at all working with audio.
We are not 'still' we don't film one at once, the early episodes the lighting was bad, then the camera bad, now the sound not up to scratch, we take all comments on board and strive to keep getting better, thanks for watching.
Can I suggest possibly maybe winding Ur neck in....the sound is absolutely fine...can you hear them loud and clear... yes. So get Ur head out Ur arse mate
@@missiondarts That's fine to have these issues but this one can be fixed before you release any further episodes. 1) Export the audio track from the video. 2) Import the audio into Audacity (good free audio editing software). 3) Export from Audacity as a mono file. 4) Relink this new mono file in the video editing software. I hope you're able to fix it as I do enjoy watching your videos 👍
1 board is open at all times 3 more in the bar area on league nights and a further 9 boards when the Kids academy is on and for tournaments. There is a large hall adjacent to the bar which is open for academy and tournaments
