A Marine Corp pilot stationed at NAS Pensacola invited the Zara Spook. He named it after the “Ladies of the Night” that would walk down Zaragoza Street shaking their “money maker” from side to side to attract attention. I lived in Pensacola my entire life and didn’t know that until I read it in a Heddon Lure Catalog.

The orginal molds were owned by a guy in japan that was making them for reaction innovations. He stopped making them for personal reasons. So reaction innovations had to stop producing them... then they had to purchase some of the molds from him... however they didnt get the same sound because of the size of ball bearing bb was different they wanted to use. He came back out with the exact same old bait he use to make same sound as well... now called the Teckel Kicknocker and Kicknocker pup.

In my opinion using big topwater it never helped having more then 2 hooks because they usually get in way when fish strikes an having a gap between hooks allows for a better hook up and ur also not having 3 hooks gill raking the fish. Since that's what will happen with all the hooks reason that most striper fisherman when using big topwater an it has 3 hooks. They take most of them off and leave maybe one hook or 2 because it gives them better hook up an less chance of getting hooked really bad in hand or arm. Also its less stress on fish u shouldn't need 3 hooks to hook up with a fish an if u do ur usually going too fast.
