yeah tbh i think the truth is between what we see in the mirror and what we see on camera, cause you're too familiar with your reflection but not familiar at all with your reverse face so your mind creates a distorsion of your face as it is used to see you one few angles

so i think we're not as handsome as in the mirror but more handsome as we see ourselves in pictures (distorded and not distorded lens pics)

Nope, all the sub5 pics I've seen are selfies under bad (home) lights. While every model example is a pro DSLR shoot with perfect angles and lighting. Sure some people can make a good selfie, but most of the time they know what they are doing, or using face apps

It's the wide angle lens+ short distance to the face. Main cameras are also wide angle, or less wide angle, but when you shoot a mirror selfie with them - most of the time it's way better.

There are close distance selfies of chads and models on the internet, and RU-vid- they are wayyyyyy worse than pro shoots.

@@hhkk6155 Well obviously. First of all, angles matter, also, in pro shootings people use professional lights, even makeup (for men too). That's not the point I was trying to make. The video claims that you look better in real life because the camera lenses have a wider range, but it's not true.

@@apeblackberry3641 I partially agree with you, I think people look better than in their worse photos, but if a photo is decent - it's more true to life. While in a professional photoshoot people can be more good-looking than in real life

However, what I'm trying to say is that the camera lens does not distort your face. It shows exactly what you look like. No changed dimensions, no stretched-out images, or any other bs that this video claims. I've seen many chicks even using selfie cameras as a mirror to do their makeup. It would be impossible if the camera view wouldn't be accurate.
