Trust me, the canadian eas is terrifying when it come from a phone. Most countries have a seperate sound for warnings on the phone, but canada doesn't. It also doesn't help that on a mobile phone, it comes in instantly, it doesn't fade in. So while it's not the scariest sound from the tv, it will scare he shit out of you if you are in a quiet room, with your phone on you. I know this from personal experience...
@@ohnojuno Japan's eas alarm is not designed so that it doesn't scare people, it's designed so that it's distinctive and unique so that old people and people who are deaf can easily hear and distinguish the sound from other sounds.
Yes it is, what it most likely is is old ww1 or ww2 (or some other war Malaysia was in) air raid siren, and they probably figured "hey, were not using these for air raids as were not in a war, so let's use them for eas alarm, instead of paying money for new alarms"
honestly china's alarm is probably the scariest one, they play those alarms during an earthquake and the voice along with the beeping is counting down how many seconds until the seismic wave hits
Israel: It makes sense that it's a modified air raid siren wail, since the only big emergencies Israel is likely to face are rocket attacks. Japan: It's nice that they don't have to use harsh tones to terrify the people, just two cutesy electronic notes will do. South Korea: Is the first part really the alert? Sounds like an old dial-up connection. Norway: That steady horn wail makes me think that Ragnarok has begun. Bulgaria: Major Hochstetter of the Gestapo is arriving at Stalag 13. Brazil: I assume that it's based on the air raid siren wail, but reminds me of that football announcer yelling GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL
Malaysia is the most terrifying alarm if lycanthropy heard that we would go back into the water he came from and if he hears greese alarm he would definitely still be in water and if he heard Norway alarm he would never go to there
