Did not expect Dead space mobile to get mentioned honestly.

Deadspace 2 was something to behold. I remember being 12 years old and going to my local gamestop..spent hours skimming through the games, then I saw it, Isaac's helmet illuminated with the blue lights and my first thought was "cooool" that's all my 12 year old brain could muster. I held it like the holy grail. I smacked it on the counter waiting for my dad's approval, and per usual the guy at the counter said this game was rated 18+ the usual stuff, seeing that my dad had no reaction- since I was playing games like gears of war by that time, the guy at the counter got a little more serious, he leaned closer to us and told me directly "this game is scary and I don't think you can handle it, are you sure you want this game?" Me being the naive 12 year old that i was said yes. I only made it to chapter 5 and didn't touch until I was 14. scariest game I could ever play.

The remake is one of the most faithful remakes anyone can do to a game. It’s absolutely amazing.

The lore behind DS3 was pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we got more.

Dead Space 2 is like the best game in the series. Like even better than the original. I’m just glad that this game is just perfect by everyone’s rankings.

To be dead space extraction is the scariest out of all of em. They went all in with those hallucinations. Like bruh that one part where all those people are waiting for the tram and they all slowly turn and look at you? *shivers* creepy!

The dlc tho for DS3 was probably my favorite part of the game

He's right about Dead Space 1 (2008)...it's the best. The GOAT. The level of creepiness that the rest of the games just couldn't quite reach, and here's why: Voiceless Issac: Unlike Dead Space 2/3, you aren't playing a character with his own thoughts and opinions and fears... it's YOU. You're experiencing that hell. The game is much less chatty... think about all the times in DS1 when your video hud would pop up with a video or someone trying to talk to you? Not very often... but when it did, man what a relief! You knew you weren't going to get jumped while in a real time cutscene, essentially. But 2/3? You're not only chatting up a storm, you are meeting up with peeps constantly. Setting: Sorry, but a Space Station and a snow planet have absolutely nothing on the Ishimura... you're pretty much alone and your trapped on a massive starship with God knows what kind of horrors eager to rip you to shreds. Think about the first time you enter the tram area and somewhere in the distance you hear the howl of a brute... still makes my neck hair stand on end!! By the 2nd/3rd games, you've been around the block by now.... cut off their limbs this, Norton's a dick that, definitely times where you felt like you were going through the motions. Not with 1 (2008). Not ever. A f**kin' MASTERPIECE.

Growing up watching One piece understanding why everyone got irritated with the ending of attack on Titan and playing through Dead Space 3 has taught me one thing humans really don't know how to say goodbye

the main thing i like about ds1 is how dark it is and that feeling that once you re enter a room all the enemies would have respawned just for them to not be in the same places and instead come out of the vents

Extraction was a good game

I really enjoyed Dead Space 3. The “fans” of this series can really be crybabies tbh. It’s still got the dark environments, gruesome death scenes, grotesque monsters, and little hallucinations and hearing voices thing like the previous2 games. It feels like Dead Space just as much as any of the others. The problem is you’re not going to be scared by the same damn thing forever. Just because people were desensitized to the Dead Space style of horror by that point and didn’t piss themselves doesn’t mean it was bad. Just because it had more action doesn’t mean it was bad. God forbid we try to have a fun experience. If the entire game was just atmosphere and suspense but all you did was walk around and run from things never having one fight it would be boring as all hell. The weapon’s crafting system was great, the graphics were amazing for it’s time. The environments were really fun to explore. The lore behind the game and all the things you learn about the Marker’s history were cool. The first 2 were better as pure horror games yes. But I personally had the most fun overall gameplay wise with Dead Space 3. It was a victim of being released when EA hate and boycotting was at it’s peak. It’s a shame we lost the series for a decade over it. Too many people never even played the Awakened DLC for 3 which actually brought a lot of the horror feel back and ended on a massive cliffhanger for a 4th game that we never got. Remake of 1 was cool but honestly I’d rather they pick up the story they never finished.

Dead Space Remake is basically what a remake should be. A much better version of an old game. That is why this remake is the G.O.A.T

Dead Space 2 was amazing. Everything was great, the suits and weapons went from desperate Engineer to desperate Security guard/ Surgeon and it still went hard af. There was also a lot of lore to be found with the spin-off games, which was really unique since most companies won't reward you that type of thing for playing the spin-offs. I still go back to play it occasionally.

Before the Remake of 1 came out I decided to finally binge all 3 games to see what the hype was all about and honestly after I did I absolutely hated myself for not playing it sooner. Greatest horror game series to ever exist

Dead Space 2 is one of my favorite games of all time! I really hope it gets a remake treatment eventually.. Especially after the success of the last remake!

It was cool how every single story tied into each other though. The freaking puzzle game showed who the guy who gets destroyed in the beginning of DS2 was!

This dead space remake hasn’t felt like the RE4 remake but they certainly did it justice still.

Dead Space 2 without a shadow of doubt is my favorite, it's just perfect in every way imaginable. I will say however that while Dead Space 3 lacks all the horror that made the original and 2 so scary the Co-op missions are actually amazing. Its really too bad that they're exclusively Co-op missions. I remember playing as Carver seeing toy nutcrackers all over the place and being super creeped out. I told my buddy to look at all the very out of place toys and presents and he just said "what the hell are you talking about?" That genuinley gave me chills and creeped me out so much. It's honestly the most unsettling thing i remember about in the whole series. Something about seeing the markers effects in real time. Seeing things my friend couldn't see, fighting things my friend couldn't see. Despite Isaac being right there next to me I very much felt alone and isolated. I never knew what was real or imagined and it was incredibly powerful and did an amazing job of ramping out the tension.

Agreed one and two are some of my fav games of all time.

Dead Space Mobile is a jewel, I played it on iPad and up to this day keeps a space in my memory and heart, specially the end.

Nope. Dead Space Extraction was awesome! The added level of immersion with the Wii controllers was a blast.

Definitely curious as to whether the Remake's success means we're getting remakes of the other games next or if they're reviving Dead Space 4 and that'll be the next release.

DS3 was awesome!!!!! i loved being able to play the game co-op start to finish with extra side quests with the co-op. i hope if they ever make DS4 it will be co-op plus DS3 had AWESOME weapon crafting i had a LMG with a rocket launcher ALT fire. also DS3 had some very cool side exploration things to do out in space and once you got on planet

2 things; 1. Ignition is only to be played for bonuses in 2. And then 2, Dead Space 3 is way better co op as add on Carver's co op mission is like playing with a rehabilitated person and a freshly tweaked solider. Help your friend out.

I wouldn't mind a Dead Space 2 Remake new locations, New Weapon's, New Game mechanic's. Like I didn't expect much on the Dead Space Remake but BOY wooo was it better then the og I liked the metrovania style locating crew codes to go back to location's unlock like weapon's locker's and ammo supplies which was oh so needed in tight situations.

Dead Space is an amazing series and i had a Strange contact with it. It was 2008, i was a happy 9 year kid playing on my PS3 until my dad came home with a gift to me. It was the first Dead Space. At first i was amused and hyped to play. What happened ? I got so scared at the beggining, where the first Necromorphy brutally kills your friend and you have to run without weapons to the elevator that i Never finished the game until 2020, when i was 20 🤣
