Donut and Coffee is quite literally a must have for me. I ALWAYS end up using the brewer and donut maker in bars and kitchens when I build settlements, same for the chalkboards, and the tiles
I know a guy on Tumblr. Basically made his entire blog around the cc. His entire schtick, is he is the last Slocum's Joe man alive and it's his duty to turn the water into coffee and the earth into pastry.
for me its home decor, I mainly used it alot in a vault 88 build I did and it really helped with the decoration parts of rooms [mainly bedrooms] and I used homemaker aswell to add some more stuff I couldn't normally, although I left the build in the dust because I got bored and I had like no idea how I'm going to expand it
The essential thing the Ambush kit adds on is cameras. I find them essential in Survival, still a bit Jankie but I find them essential for defending settlements in survival.
@@supahgaming8249 yes, I used to end up coming out of it starving and thirsty. From a survival point of view, the bug I noticed was your companion will fast travel there and if they go down you will lose them for a while. I do love popping in and seeing my settlement defend itself, that is great. I have had no problems with that. OK I will check it out on my current survival save and see how it goes. Also on occasion it Jason crashed my game, so I often save.before.entering cameras.
Unfortunately on xBox there isn’t a way to leave the cameras, so while I have them placed for aesthetic, I don’t/can’t use them. Only way to exit them is reloading a previous save.
The Settlement Defense creation is a godsend for Survival runs because as long as you construct at least one camera and monitors set you no longer are burdened by "YOUR SETTLEMENT IS UNDER ATTACK GO WALK ACROSS THR MAP 30 MINUTES AWAY AND HELP!!!!" Instead you can simply visit wherever your closest rest stop settlement may be and save so much time by watching from the surveillance. The game counts your viewing as being present and repelling the attack so long as you actually put up defenses / turrets. Though your settlers may just do all the work by themselves. Either way you can avoid returning to a damaged settlement because there's a higher chance of failure if you yourself aren't observing for the game to play it out.
It especially saves you if the settlement under attack is Vault 88. After getting mauled by the ferals camping the tunnel, and failing to sneak past them the second time, I just ran back to Diamond City to watch the turrets behind the door tear them apart.
WELL BLOW ME! I did not know that! Thank you... I thought they were pretty much non functional / Aesthetic!!! That's going to change my gameplay massively!!! (I dont play Survival normally but this is an aide even in a Standard Playthrough!)
One thing missed in the Ambush Kit. The alternat guard tower can also snap to the junk fences. and you can attach floors to the junk fences. this lets you make a literal walkable parameter wall that still supplies cover.
I really like neon flats. It’s the best of both worlds. You have a prebuilt home, and then you have a carbon copy of it upstairs that’s empty for you to design yourself! Which usually ends up a small display room for me. It has all the containers and workbenches I’d need, and it has the feel and look I like! I was hoping the noir penthouse would have been that, but it didn’t fit what I imagined it to be. But neon flats was that for me. VR pods I haven’t been able to try out because it causes the PS4 storage glitch that corrupts my save file… but neon flats and captain cosmos are the 2 I use everytime. Captain cosmos is hands down the best creation available. (I do really like the patriot power armor paint job though! The American flag colored one. Looks really good) EDIT: I messed up, it was shroud manor I disliked. Not noir penthouse. I like noir penthouse it just feels too big for a single player home. If you could send your companions there it would make more sense. But it’s just too much for me. I won’t use 90% of the space.
The donut and coffee cc honestly in my experience was super useful and if done right could actually be stupidly strong A lot of the effects stack so putting certain ones together could really boost damage and such. Or if you're like me, make being a packmule even more doable than before Mission is nonexistent sadly but the benefits you get really are worth the asking price Even being a Settlement builder personally, never used the Slocum choices but thats just because even for me, it's way too much even for my inconsistent taste of furnishing XD
Or, if you like to have more settlers in your game, you can use the donuts and drinks to boost your charisma up to around 30 or 40. The most I’ve ever gotten was 36 but I also didn’t have a full set of lengendary armor that boosts your charisma
I love the Slocum's Joe one. The glass auto-doors are great but especially amazing are the flooring pieces. They have less collision issues so they snap through areas like Jamaica Plain's workshop 2nd floor areas if snapped right. The brick walls are nice to use for JP or Hangman's as well. The coffee machine is great for ambiance, since your settlers will brew up a cup whenever the mood strikes them. Mama Murphy makes a great barista, just don't build her a chair tho. It turns her into a Walmart greeter forever 😎
Men i loves settlement ambush kit, allowed me grind out a fews more levels or get more resources. The best tip by far is if you far harber, long fellows cabin has a settlement raid marker inside the workshop parameters. Surround it with walls and a floor and you keep farming untill your game crash.
I found alot of the CC content pretty useful and lore friendly, because if you think about it, some of the stuff was probably used "Pre-War" so it makes sense. Even during the vanilla game, you can find laundered/pre-war clothing without any rips etc on them, so having pre-war/mint condition stuff isn't exactly lore-breaking. I wish their was more CC though, either way the CC stuff is pretty good!
The ambush kit is closer to a wave defense sorta game mode rather than a forced settlement attack, and other than the fact that it apparently provides a decent way to farm legendary enemies, its not all that helpful to most people
I only saw settlers use top bed twice, and that's afther having the creation for months. Both times was only afther fast traveling or afther taking a long jog back and fourth.
I bought settlement ambush kit for the cameras but I played it most w the horde mode. Makes for great loot n it actually helps you improve functional defenses beyond just 50 missile launcher turrets
One nice thing about the Nuka-cola pack is that the lamps are a nice low level accent light. If you want a bedside lamp without it screaming out every loose board in the hovel/bolthole, these are an option. I also always deck out a house/bus with a ton of Nuka-cola stuff for Sheffield in whatever base I have for him. I love decking him out and making him a total badass. He cleans up well in a beret, shades, and combat armor, rocking a Plasma rifle.
I gave him complete heavy combat armor after getting a gunner cage farm, a combat helmet, and a legendary explosive combat sniper rifle. He SWEEPS raiders. He also is a badass with a bandanna on… maybe I should give him some sunglasses for that extra badassery.
@@omniscientbarebones My current character has him with a wounding mini-gun I got off some lovely super mutants. Now he owns the Deathclaws that show up by the bridge in Starlight.
@@stormcry8202 I have yet to be attacked by Deathclaws at Sanctuary where Sheffield lives, but with my many defense posts and high defense rating with about 5 patrolling gaurds including Sheffield, and many turrets. As well as settlers who work for me geared up with gunner armor and weaponry. Sanctuary’s defenses are impregnable, oh, and to get happiness up, I moved Marcy to an empty settlement and, “took care,” of her.
@@omniscientbarebones I usually make Starlight Drive-in my main base. I will send Sheffield to there, and make him a guard. I will often park an elevate guard station down by the broken bus. I also will usually drop a bus there by the chainlink fence. Then I'll give Sheffield a bus full of Nuka-cola stuff including a bed. Between Sheffield, and a battery of turrets atop the billboards, the defenses on that side hold up well. Another fun thing to give Sheffield is a kneecapper minigun. That way the turrets eat anything melee before it has a chance to close the distance. I actually don't do much with Sanctuary after setting up crop/water farming. All the broken unscrappable buildings kinda annoy me tbh.
@@omniscientbarebones Instead of "Taking care" of the Longs. I like to give them some cage armor, mining helmets, backpacks, and one mini-gun from Concord and the other from Ack-Ack. Then I make them into provisioners. Jun goes to RR and Marcy goes to Abernathy. I give them each a sleeping bag that I stick UNDER the bed of another settler, since guards and provisioners NEVER sleep!!!! I'd rather have Marcy burning shoe leather than being a Tuesday to me every time I stroll into town. At least with the mining helmets on I can just give those Negative Nancy's a wide berth. 😝
I use the barn and warehouse rooves on those new wooden and brickwall house panels. I put a plaster ceiling in and then the roof pieces on top. You've got to make sure it's all straight but it looks good, and end-caps snap in nicely.
One of the magazines added bunk beds. They are great because you don’t have beds filling up the smaller settlements. I really like the Slocum’s Joe because it adds some good consumables. Plus Hangman’s Alley makes a great donut 🍩 shop. 😂
The Settlment Ambush Kit is also VERY broken. If you use the security camera it’ll break your games internal clock. For some reason several days, and sometimes months, will pass if you try to use the security camera. I don’t remember what RU-vidr tested this, but I saw a video of someone trying this creation club mod and they had time traveled to the year 3000. I think it went even further but I can’t remember
The annoying thing I find about the Ambush add on is if you kit out your settlers with armour etc, when they use the shooting range they equip the clothes they originally wore when they arrived.

I can not *believe* the Shroud Manor and Charleston Condo slander. They’re so good. Charleston Condo especially is such a great lore friendly players home that has great access to the RR, BOS, and Bunker Hill. Also I can barely play Fo4 w/o the Home Decor pack it is so essential to making my settlements feel unique, attractive, and like people actually live in them. The stuff in there should be basegame.
Much as I love Shroud Manor... I do think his critique was fair... As a Safe House, Its not in the best location! But Aesthetically its BEAUTIFUL! And The Home Decor Pack... One I may have to get a hold of... I avoided it at first but it seems like it may be up my street after all! (Despite being a bit "Cheaty" or as us Warhammer 40K players would say "Beardy")
I HATED Hangmans Alley... In many respects I still do... But its mainly Bad Design from Bethesda... Its so hard to build at without Mods... That said, I did make it a Workable Farm and with Plenty of Water after a LOT of Pillar Glitching and building Vertically... It was also a PAIN to defend early on! Eventually, With the Good Old Pillar Glitch, I secured it by blocking Two Entrances, so there is only one way in... I have a nice Vertical "Shanty Town" that provides food to supply at least 4 settlements, and as a Provisions Hub never gets attacked anymore as there are too many Provisioners travelling to and from! I have to agree with you - It gets way too much hate... Its challenging to work with and there is not a lot you can do to make it look good, but with a bit of work - Its a very useable settlement! Its just a pain in the arse to work with... EDIT: Yeah, I have only just started a Mods Playthrough by the way... On my Vanilla Game - NO MODS! So Hangman's Alley was HELL to work with! But I got it there!!!
i kinda like that neon flats is in goodneighbor. it's a good spot for roleplay purposes, and especially for alt starts in/around goodneighbor it's *great* to have earlier on
About the plants good giving happiness, I'm convinced it either does nothing or just so little it's useless. I spamed over 50 and was still stuck at 90 happiness
The whole settlement happiness system is broken. The effectiveness of happiness raising objects in your settlement is divided by the number of settlers you have. So in order to reach 100 percent happiness in settlements with 20 settlers you need literally hundreds of them.
Same here with both the plants and posters (from Home Decor Workshop), dozens in the settlement, and if happiness is 90%, it's a good day. Of course, I have minimal settlers, usually less than 20.

I really like the slocum's joe and Nuka cola add-ons and I also bought (or got them for free can't remember) the decoration by Elianora, the arcade and the settlement ambush kit. Saying that I spend most of my time in the game building would be a lie, I haven't done a single quest in the past 2 years only building. Overall they give a lot of variety to your settlements if used correctly, I hate repeating textures and assets so the more options I have the better. I did not buy the other ones because I do not deal in clean and new aesthetic, it's a lot funnier to build ruined down shacks and barely holding together shops. Might give a try to the VR add-on but it's super expensive and I'm not sure I want to invest in it
I do really like the Slocums joe one, although I’ve never built with it yet. But I WISH it also came with vault pieces. So you could build a slocums joe inside vault 88. Make it not be dependent on that dlc obviously, but have the vault room pieces. It’s not alot of extra pieces. It’s still possible to build it in a vault, but it just doesn’t quite look right. And doesn’t draw power correctly
the vault 88 diner is pretty close to the pink-slocums joe color scheme already, it's not a perfect solution if you were wanting the gray, or blue slocums themes, but just building a diner room and populating with slocums decorations should still be passable. I never really thought of trying to incorporate any of these into vaults.

But I think I’m going to try and get it to snap to the vault, or atleast appear snapped. And just do my best to make it look like it fits. I really like the checkered floors. And it adds more diversity to the vault
For me, the best one is likely VR. For one reason. Nuka-World. You can send Nuka-World raids to the VR Workshop, and from there? The flag is glitched. You can place it, it disappears, but you claim the workshop. Max happiness out there, send Shank, and you can do all your ne'er-do-welling from VR! When all is said and done, and you got the perks you want (and/or Aeternus), you can load up your rifle, clean House, and finish up in VR.
Most of those house mods remind me of the old Elianora house mods where she basically packs every square inch with clutter until it basically becomes unusable and kind if trashy.
In case it helps, it was Shroud Manor that broke my Workbench Menu. I haven't got the Virtual Workshop add-on so that may also cause problems as you suggested.
I give my settlements the bare minimum usually, send one out as a provisioner, one on the Artillery and the rest have to farm crops in return for a nice bed in a wooden shack. Occasionally I do get carried away like one I made at Starlight and another amazing settlement at Murkwater but usually I can't be bothered doing too much work, just spruce up the existing a bit.
I’ve made the nuka-ola-cafe my main home, I love it there so much. This video has really helped with decided which one is worth getting, really appreciate the mostly unbiased commentary
Would recommend some mods to clean up the building menus Think it's Smm settlement menu manager that is the one used by community Would also recommend buffout 4 if you don't have it installed Using a mod organiser and LOOT also helps
I kinda thought more people would have mentioned that some of thes area's are a little... I don't know... crashy. I've found out if you leave the compangnion's at home and stare at the ground so the game doesn't need to render too many things I should have at least a 60% chance of getting in & out with no auto reset or screen freeze.
As an avid Fallout 76 player, if you’re someone who enjoys the settlement building of Fallout 4 then you’re guaranteed to enjoy the building in 76, it’s extremely more free with tons of more variety of workshop items and utility stuff. Being able to build almost everywhere makes it’s so satisfying when you find the perfect spot to build what you want, and the free-cam option while in the build menu makes building a breeze. I highly recommend you give the game another chance to see how it’s improved
76 player too I can attest this statement. It still has its jank naturally BUT it is night & day and the community is VERY helpful. More than not which is surprising knowing it has a (rarely used) PvP mode
I mean, if you're a fallout player, its kinda crazy to think Bethesda has changed. Its even crazier to think that the latest 76 is the worse fallout with its bug compared to other old fallout games. Having that said, I'm a 76ers and building in 76 I believe is way more fun than in 4. I dont have to rely on nexus mod to get so many items and styles. Again, if you're expecting no bug especially the same effing bug from fallout 4, you're crazy. You just gotta accept that Bethesda is filled with lazy a-holes. But there's nothing we cant ignore or work pass it

So worried for starfield that they are adding this back in. While I think paying mdders is fine. I think the price vs what normal dlc/cost and what you get and vs free mods does not add up.
The Slocums Joe pack is one of my absolute favorites. I love building my own little donut shop. And the doughnuts are really good food items. The nuka cola collector one is also great because I’m a huge nuka cola fan so it’s a must have
fallout 4 creation club is probably the easiest thing to pirate, not even kidding, and bethesda doesn't care because they know none of it is worth the the price they set it at
I feel like the building would be more effective if you could build as you wish but also if you have a certain amount of resources you could select from pre-selected upgrade packs so you had a nice place but you didn’t have to do it all, saints row 2 had a similar function
I was going to pass on the ambush package until you showed me that it gives us some pretty cool additional objects to build with so I'll pick that up. On the VR one, do you get more building items you can place in the "real" world or it is all just inside the VR pod?
They both kinda are... But Neon Flats is more of a nod to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya oddly enough... "Yuki... means Snow" is a very well-known line from the movie Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. The titular Yuki in the series is a bio-android created by a formless alien data entity to observe humans. Yuki in Neon Flats is a data entity called Project SNOW that is accidentally created by the Institute that transfers herself into a Synth body with help from the Railroad. She shows up in the Third Rail after the quest.
You should provide a summary rating in the timestamps so that people who have viewed this video and want to come back to reference your review can remember which mods were worth their time and which weren't without having to click through each one. Also, people who haven't watched can click on the timestamp of a mod and find out why you rated it that way without having to go through mods they might not be interested in. For instance, people who don't plan to set up diners. Just a thought.
I have a question about the virtual workshop. I wasn't aware that there are new items coming with it. Are those items buildable outside the virtual areas in normal settlements? I mean those ticky items looked quite nice even without a propper roof :)

But i love building and while expensive this DLC is still discounted at the moment so...i guess knowing there are new buildable things and it's discounted i should actually buy it? :)
Bro thank you!! I bought that add on, modern furniture and was like ‘you can’t build two stories with this?! You can’t put a door on here?!’ I just want to make a house that’s clean since Bethesda thinks no one would clean up trash or want a raider taking pot shots at you through a wall you made yourself for protection! Why would you purposefully leave holes in walls. They could have made some cool stuff too like you have to get trees to make clean wood, but if you find radioactive trees it’ll have green lines in the day and glow at night. Bethesda, they make games alright.
@GreyGaming I picked up teh Settlement Ambush Kit as it was on offer and I had a few Creation Club Credits left over... I think your criticism was very fair... That said, I have used teh new Junk Fences with teh Pillar Glitch and made the Old Junk Fences look SO MUCH BETTER!!! It does have its advantages... I also LOVE the Security Cameras and Monitor... Sure they are just aesthetic and not actually functional - Despite needing power (Yeah, a Major Let down... If they actually could be used to monitor Attack Spawn Points, It would deserve a much higher rating!) - They look cool and I use them in my Vault 88 Build constantly since I got them... (About a month ago!) EDIT: I know they dont actually do anything as I have placed them at Spawn Point sin numerous locations... And Settlers are still meandering about until the first shot is fired!!! FURTHER EDIT: I just found out that there is a use... LMAO! My God my game could be so much Easier if I had only known this before!!!! In general, Some of my Settlements on one of my Playthroughs are so well defended, I never need to go and help... But have to interrupt my gameplay to do that! (Hangman's Alley is now SO OP it NEVER GETS ATTACKED... Too Many Provisions' passing through as well as Turret's and only one entry point, Abernathy Farm is so well walled and has such good Defences that I sometimes have to wait up to AN HOUR for the Enemies to even come close so a Raid can finish!!!) So the Remote Monitoring... Having cameras set up and watching teh raid from afar... OH GREAT IDEA!!!! Especially for settlement's you dont really need to defend! I have most of what's on the list, and to be honest - I got most of them simply for more Quests... They may be short and a bit pointless, but I enjoyed them! (Yes even the weapon Quests!)...
on the happiness thing. to be fair I would say a bunch of arcades would provide happiness vs a potted plant. plus you dont build like 50 arcade cabinets something you might do whit the potted plant. also you forgot the camera from the ambush kit the one that borked the game by taking a year+ to fast travel to from one setlement to another.
I think the biggest fix would be to have it be a synth led faction. Like when someone says Underground Railroad the first person to pop into your head isn’t one of the white abolitionist who helped enslaved people escape, it’s Harriet Tubman. As much as I want to believe synths are equal to humans, I don’t think m the game actually thinks they are because they are used as a prop rather than given any sort of depth or perspective on the matter.

Settlement ambush Is too fun to grind legendary weapons to give to your settlers. Just build trap bases around spawn points to funnel your prey. And I think on xbox and pc they have a mod where it collects all the bodies to recycle them. Not 100% as I'm on PS
Wait are the items from home decor really that over powered or would you have to spam a lot of those carpets and planters to cheese happiness cuz I hardly noticed any difference wen I used them but I was also messing around with alot of settlers(at least 20 per settlement) and using oxhorns guides for settlement happiness
The happiness giving objects are divided by the total number of settlers. So for 20 settlers you would need a couple hundred to have a noticeable effect. Also you will never reach 100 happiness in a settlement that has any robots.
@@clothar23 actually I've seen a couple videos that use a robot and 5 cats in order to get 100% happiness achievement so u can in fact but that also means all th happiness Object bonuses get divided by th robots too lol
I absolutely love the noir, neon, and condo! Those are beautiful! The noir one is absolutely glorious! So beautiful! 😅😎👍🏻 reminds me of a mod i got a long time ago with a multi level house near diamond city! Need to get fallout on my new pc, mod it up and play with that stuff again!
We all remember the high senate chamber in which Yoda and Palpatine fought. Something pretty similar can be built in the grid world virtual settlement. I was taken aback by how excellently it all came together. The round desk is key. Definitely not settlement building for noobs, but mods need not apply.
Personally, I like settlements/furnishing more run down looking areas, as I feel it fits the aesthetic of a post apocalypse, and a super clean modern looking area would look out of place, unless it fits well.
I somewhat agree with you, yet not entirely, I think the penthouse and the flat looks too lavish, same with the pre war house pack, but I don’t like how all the vanilla fallout 4 settlement options are for dinky little shanty towns, and so is everywhere else in the game. It’s been 200 years since the bombs fell, you’d think they’d make some more progress by now, it’s shown in fallout 1 and 2 to have nice areas with concrete and concrete sand houses, and that’s only about 80 years after the bombs fell, and then fallout new vegas has a powered Las Vegas, and most settlements are in pre war buildings with them usually just being somewhat dirty, even in fallout 3, where the capital wasteland is practically a crater, you still have tenpenny tower, and the brotherhood trying to make progress for the better by attempting to purify the water. Point is I think there’s a middle ground, shanty towns 200 years after the bombs fell feels illogical, and pre-war lavish picket fence homes seem cartoony. That’s why I think the DLC add-ons are the best for it, the barn walls and concrete walls look nice, not too incredible, but no noticeable gaps and crooked boards. The vault tec workshop too, for the clean bed and furniture, but may just be my preference. I try go for an approach with more habitable looking houses where it feels like the wasteland is actually making 200 years worth of progress, rather than one where their nicest settlement is basically a giant shanty town in a baseball stadium
@@BallonEEE.I agree with your points about finding a middle ground. The game threw me off at first, because the shantytown look makes the great war seem a lot more recent than 210 years ago. I try for different themes at each Settlement, but all unique, with clear signs of refurbishment. I love having access to both the torn booth and the new ones, because I like to emphasize that some places have recovered better.
By the way in another video i saw a horrible bug in the Ambush Kit that it skips massive amounts of time when you tune into a camera in another village. Do you know if that's still the case or if it fixed?

Since I'm looking at it in real time i hope they will fight as per normal and win every time since i build up settlements and the are heavily defended (but would still loose if I don't show up)?
@Sqwallbg Settlers are Immortal unless you accidentally hit them, plus there is still an odd bug where your companion shows up to fight too since you're technically "there." So you won't lose the fight. I do suggest putting cameras in various places though, as I did have a moment where all the settlers got knocked down by crazy strong Gunners, with only a Legendary alive, and because I only had one camera at the gate Curie wouldn't leave that area to go in and fight the last guy. Your defenses can be destroyed btw, but that is it. You also might end up losing out on Legendary items if you're not there yourself. That said, it is FAR better in Survival than having to walk all the way there.
@@SpacePirateLord Yeah defenses can be destroyed but that's a non issue. Most settlements i have built up are at 400+ defense rating with a lot of overlapping turrets and all settlers designated as defenders are in heavy combat armor, maxed out automatic plasma rifles, gauss riffles and plasma granades. So if the just fight they can repel any attack. I remember an attack on the vault - were ghouls - killed the lot of them but couldn't finish it, you know how enemies tend to get lost/stuck in the corridors. I left and the defense failed a day after. I went back, rested for a day and when i woke up i saw a singular normal weak ghoul. In my vault i have 34 sttlers, 2 t-45, 2 t-51 power armors and an array of turrets guarding it. All of that lost to 1 normal ghoul...so yeah...that's why i asked if the fact I'm watching in real time would make the battle actually take place, rather than some chance or whatever the game does to decide the outcome. Also sorry for the wall of text.
Settlement Ambush Kit is seriously broken. Combine it with a settlement like Nuka World Red Rocket with only one spawn point and you have the best XP/Legendary Item farm in the game. Make a big box around the spawn point open on one side, take up a sniping point, and start firing explosives every time things spawn in. After 10 waves when it gives you a break, turn off the attacks and go reap your rewards. In my 180s I managed to get 5 levels off 10 waves of Gunners thanks to some lucky Idiot Savant triggers, which took me all of about 5 minutes. I have found things like an Instigating Missile Launcher (amazing for further farming) and an Explosive Minigun. Like I said, SERIOUSLY broken. I'm at about 205 now and the only thing stopping me is the Commonwealth not having nearly enough missiles to feed my needs.
I ended up buying some of the cc add-ons for workshop specifically because I find it so jaring for furniture I'm making to be so worn down. Like damn they forgot how to make a brush after 200 years?
Cvc Dead wasteland should be in the creation club, honestly. It's so much better than any workshop pack that is offered on cc. Or thematic and practical. But thank the Lord these are free.
The vanilla stuff is atleast decent enough for roleplaying. I made a bar area in my sanctuary out of a house run by the vault tec rep where he lives and works
Does the gun in the mansion mess with anyone else's game. Anyway that house is my favorite only because i use it for a trophy house with all the weapons and armor of the named npcs that get taken down.
I was disappointed with the Silver Shroud one. I really wanted it for the additional decorative items such as tall upright bookcases as featured in the Manor itself, but no. And no chandelier either! I was robbed.
I accidentally deleted all my creation club items, and they are now unavailable to me. I doubt I'll get any help from Bethesda support, but I don't know what to do. I guess I could revert to a backup on my old computer, but I don't wanna loose nothing.
Surprised none of these high-rated comments are saying what I thought when I watched through this, which is that most of these DLC packs don't contain anything free mods didn't do better. The build pieces in CC kits look like ass compared to the parts you can get from something like Snappy Buildkit. CC was just a cashgrab.
So I just watched this as well as your CC Armor and weapons videos and thought I'd share my experience, opinions, and thoughts in a single concise comment. I agree with most of your assessments off the top, so there is that. Of the ones I disagree with, the thoughts are relatively minor. I enjoyed the quests for "Combat rifle clone" I forget it's exact designation off the top of my head, and never felt it wore out it's welcome. Also I felt it could have done with mentioning just how early in the game you can obtain it. You said the Stealth Suit was likely better for melee players. This is less of a critique and more a whole hearted confirmation. As someone whose combat style tends to be stealth melee, the Stealth suit is God tier. In fact the only thing preventing it from being game breaking IMHO is how far into the wasteland you have to go to get it. Finally, While I agree that the Noir penthouse isn't the greatest, some mention has to go to the fact that the vault in it is completely full of pre-war money and gold bars making it one of the best value to difficulty looting locations in the game. Even Bridgeway Trust requires 3x Hacker and 3x Lockpicking to come close.
