Renovation tips Kitcjen cabinets up to ceiling to maximize storage space. If you have a corner cabinet install pull-out shelves as is a nightmare to access otherwise. Might not be necessary if living alone but having 2 dishwashers hidden by cabinet doors saves on puttong away plates and cutleru. Just move frpm one to another. Paint kitchen in graded tomes eg, cream presses, creamy green walls, darker green island. Really opens up the space. Follow through same colours/themes on adjoining rooms to maximise illusion of more space. Mirror above mantke makrs room look bigger. Turn under stairs area into a storage unit. Paint ceilings same colour as walls. Really opens up the room. If ceiling are low, use long/vertical paintings, mirrors and striped wallpaper to elongate.

We've been looking for a house as well and wow the process is wild but I totally feel you when you said there are some that are just an immediate no. @@ThisFoolishLife Well I live in Europe and bumble seems the best of them all . You can have way more details about your matches like their height, if they want to have kids, what they are looking for in relationships etc.. which is definitely a time saver! Never tried happen but I doubt with covid that you can meet a lot of people through that. And I actually just downloaded hinge - there are a lot A LOT more thing to fill out but at least you get more than just a couple of pictures. Please dont try tinder - you ll get a lot of matches but most of the guys only want to hook up or they will never talk to you. Too many people and it's just about swiping.

My advice if you’re renovating would be to live with things as they are for a little while until you do big things like remove walls etc…. I found that everything I imagined I’d do wasn’t practical or how I wanted when I actually lived in the house for a couple of months!🤍🤍 so excited to follow the house journey with you x

Definitely give yourself a winter and a summer to live in and see the light. The two extremes are massively helpful when deciding on room colours, moving electrics or light fixtures… and even bigger things like adding or changing windows. I dove in to garden stuff immediately but left interiors besides repainting for a year. I ended up having to repaint a few rooms that were way too dark for the space year round but 🤷🏼‍♀️ repainting is a cheap change in comparison.

Decleor is the best! I’ve used it for 20 years and it’s the only skincare that made my skin look fresh and young and just nice skin. Haha. But they don’t have it in Canada anymore and they only ship a couple of products! I miss it. You explained it perfectly, it doesn’t make your skin look greasy, just skin. They need to bring it back to Canada!

Just make sure the roof & the electrics are okay & there isn’t any damp. It’s a pain if you have to practically rebuild the house ! Everything else can be changed relatively easily, good luck xxx

Get a builder that has been recommended to you if you can, rather than someone random and don’t pay the full amount upfront or you have no leverage if they don’t deliver the project to time/budget. Take pictures of everything before they begin. Agree the communication methods and how frequently you’ll want them to update you. A family friend rented an Airbnb for 4 weeks initially to give the builders space to get on with the job and didn’t receive any updates trusting the builders would get on with it 3 months later, they are over budget and nowhere near done and now she’s looking for another builder!

I’ll be so thrilled when Decléor starts selling worldwide, cannot get it in America. I use Paí from the Uk 🇬🇧 and Youth to the People products, they’re really good and natural, can be bought anywhere except Paí’s spf because they can’t ship it outside the uk 🇬🇧 due to the ingredients. The professional pictures have to be removed from the dating app. You need to have more authentically captured photographs. I believe you are a very authentic person Amelia. I hope that you meet someone in person that’s unexpected and out of the blue that is a genuine man that will have your best interest at heart, and that you fall in love with each other. ❤️

I agree with Liv, remove the professional photos from your dating profile. It might be giving the wrong impression as people will just swipe and think your stuck up model type which you are not! people spend like 2 seconds looking at profiles and will pre-judhe. more casual ones like the one of you sitting down look amazing.
