Dressing table should definitely be between the two windows as nothing can fit there anyway, and you would be facing natural light which is perfect . Shallow wardrobe on the right wall will be perfect for shoes or bags ! X

I am sure you can work out the details you want in the house :) Maybe there are nice battery operated lights to use for the bookcases? Or maybe a hidden LED strip if you have a plug behind the case to hide it? Also, can you cover the angles with a door header trim, I am sure good carpenter could fashion some door casing to fake an arch.

Rolling island for the win in the shroom. For power points (sockets?), when I built I put two double power points on every wall. It's so much better to have too many than too few. Also include some USB ports on the power points which will ensure easy charging for electronics.

I would put the dressing table between the windows. I think if it is positioned evenly it would look nice. The new jewelry collection is just beautiful, Congrats!!

Vanity between windows! You'll see it will work even with the overlap with wall buffered by curtains. It's the logical place. Congrats lovely 💛

I love the island vanity idea. Also if you did the vanity in your bathroom, you could cut a space and have a glamorous stool that pushes in , and a mirror that came out from the wall. 💕💜

Yesssss Amelia I relate so hard. I’m in the process of building a house and after going back and forth with the architect for 8 months I was DONE. And now it’s windows and faucets and paint and stuff I knew was coming… but also lighting plans and all this stuff I never thought of. Decision fatigue is at 9000%

If it were me, I would hold off on fitting any built-in cupboards/wardrobes until I had have spent maybe a week trialling different spots in the room (with a vanity that can move around each day) until I found the right spot! Then design the room based on that. Otherwise, I might regret it if I got it wrong! If you chose to do that, you could see how the light behaves at different times and with different weather, which will ultimately make it easier to decipher where it's going to work best - then you can ensure the will function properly! I say, take advantage of a few extra days! I think it would be worth it! Good luck! The house looks beautiful :) congrats!

Amelia’s nerves during launches only goes to show how seriously she takes Raemi and honestly it really shows, all the pieces are so stunning and have such a personal touch . This personal element to the brand really make it my favorite jewelry brand by far. I feel like a bit of hypocrite since I don’t own Raemi pieces yet but with a new life journey starting this week I’m closer to be able own my Raemi collection! I’m still in awe with the stunning natural light in your house omg!! The moving island would be a great option I think to benefit from the natural light ☀️ lots of love 💙💙💙

You can always install the magnifying round mirror that you can pull in and out from the wall, like they have in hotel rooms. So you have the option to do your makeup in the bathroom! :)

I think the best option would be placing the dressing room in the right wall (the first place you mentioned). The space seems pretty much perfect in terms of size and you would still receive some natural light sitting there. 😊

I've never seen anyone wear makeup to a facial before. I had to admit I had huge anxiety as my skin is so sensitive that I'd be asking for a serious breakout if I wore makeup and just had micellar water to take it off before massaging other products in. If I wear foundation (which is rare), I have to use micellar, followed by two washes with face cleanser to make sure my skin is super clean and then toner. I envy people who have skin that is so much easier to manage.

Hi, love the longer video. I renovated parts of my house, I would say dont worry about the small decisions, you can change things at a later date. I like the idea of doing your make up on a rolling island💕

I think you should wait a bit before deciding what goes where. Just see the space finished, and then you will be inspired, don't rush into a decision now. Take your time, breath a bit and then see what you have to work with

Hi regarding the lights in the bookshelf, you can get battery powered puck light with a remote, they work amazingly and if they are LED the battery last forever. I hope it helps 😄I think it is called "sconce light hack", good luck! 🥰

AMALIA If you use glass bridks or clear frosted glass where you divided your bedroom/ bathroom then your dressing table would go against that wall and get all the natural ight from your bathroom window .

We just bought a flat with my huddy and I can really feel you. We don't even have any furniture so everything needs to be desided from forks and knives to bed and wall colours. My head is so fried 🙈

Put the dressing table on the wall between the window. You can change the style of curtain so the space in the wall area looks bigger.

You can also put the table not align with the wall. So facing the corner of the room and use the standing mirror that you put on top of the table

Amelia, please take down the wall that sticks out near your stairs. I'm thinking it would cut off flow to the back area of your house. Saw in last video it looks like a tiny area to try and move furniture in the rooms by staircase (a nightmare, cause I have one in my house.. a zip zag hallway) and you want all the other rooms open floor plan. It would be a beast to fix after everything is finished. Just something for you to think about. MM-TEXAS

Why can’t you just put the dressing table in between the windows? It doesn’t have to be right up against the wall. Theres enough room for a mirror in between the curtains. The curtains would just tuck behind the table.
