Revolution True Icon Palette 6/10-it’s really pretty however I used the cream as eyeliner and set really well with powder shadow today and it still transferred onto my eyelid, within about 20 minutes my eye look was ruined. Only used it once so we will see. Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Tint 10/10, they look stunning on the lips and the colors stay on for hours and stain evenly as they fade. LOVE. ABH Brow Freeze Gel 10/10-hold eyebrows beautifully without leaving residue or leaving brows shiny. Milani mascara ‘The Waterproof One’ 2/10, it’s just so messy and then hard to remove, the formula is so wet. Catrice Blush Affair Cream & Powder Palette in 040 Peach Passion- 10/10. This is so beautiful on. Maybelline Lifter Liner 10/10 my new fav lip liner, have 4 shades and they’re all beautiful. Creamy glide and stay put without making my lips look dry. If I put this on under gloss it will stay most of the day. Naturium BHA Liquid Exfoliant- 10/10, love the way my skin looks and my makeup goes on after using this. There are a few more but don’t want to bore everyone 😂
I'm so out of touch with time I don't even know what's still considered "new" but I'm loving the Kosas cloud set powder and the blush is life holiday trio!!! 10/10!!! For me, everything Fenty is 0/10.
@@monicapatton1405 I have tried a number of Fenty products - most disappointed with the match stix contour, the hydrating primer, the blur foundation stick and the gloss bomb stix lippies. Just overall not a brand that works for me.
The Loreal Infallible setting spray....your assessment is spot on (hairspray for your face) except it's a holy grail product for me! After many days of testing, i determined that this setting spray absolutely made my makeup bulletproof. Can't live without it. I do wish it weren't fragranced.
@@JenPhelpsI do use a generous amount. But I'm combo & my makeup tends to break down. If you don't need this level of bulletproof, there are better options that are probably better for your skin as well.
I love your videos! Thank you very much! I've been using Pantene #3 hair spray as a setting spray for over 2 years. It does not contain alcohol. I'm 72 with dry skin, and the Pantene does not dry it out anymore. It dries within 3 seconds and keeps makeup on all day; I've even slept in it, and makeup was still there. I've had no negative reactions to it at all.
I hated the Infallible spray at first too but found that concentrating the spray down centre of my face (oily tZone) then pressing it in with a dry sponge made my makeup last all day. I love using it on the neck so my makeup doesn’t transfer onto the collars of my clothes.
I wish brands would release small versions or sample sized products so we can test them before we waste money on them. Such as the "hairspray". I love the nail color you have on today. Your eyes look beautiful with the CP palette. Giving me Elsa vibes.
Someone else said the Loreal setting spray was like hairspray. Also they actually gagged it was so perfumed....took them a second to recover. I agree about needing more pink based foundations!
I recently found Paula's Choice Milky Toner in Marshall's, and it's so nice! I went back the next day and bought 2 more since they were the travel size. Calming and hydrating without being oily.
I'm with you on the cool undertones, Jen! So many foundations claim to have a rosy undertone...but no. My holy grail is Covergirl tru blend matte made in shade L70. Also, it's not completely matte, I'm finding it more satiny. I usually mix in a tiny drop of UD Facebond, that's my perfect match.
Oh wow I must have missed the video where he talked about it, I haven't seen anyone review it other than on TikTok and everyone is raving about it over there...go figure! 😅
Jen you look so gorgeous as always! I already bought the Frosty palette on your rec and I can't wait for it to arrive! Finally a 100% cool toned palette and perfect for winter. OK back to watching.
Hi Jen, I enjoyed watching this video, I love your eyeshadow look that you created with the Frosty the snowman ☃️ palette it makes your eyes really pop. Love Katherine xoxo
OK Jen, You convinced me on the color pop snowman collection, I dont have nothing like it, I have never tried the eye mulch, or the lip items. I will be using your code tomorrow for the discount. Now I am going to go watch Part 2 of your eyeshadow declutter video for the 2nd time, I watched part one before I seen this. I have been getting back into makeup this year, so I go to you and Charlotte Holdcroft for reviews and advice. God bless and can't wait for your next video ..😊
I’m absolutely loving the makeup look, especially the eye look. I strongly prefer cool tones all around and I wouldn’t have thought a glitter shimmer palette would be worth it but that eye look is so beautiful. Colourpop always manages to surprise me. 😂 Really enjoyed the video Jen. We’re still on sleeveless tops and shorts in Texas but no longer an inferno 😂. #SweaterWeather
I bought the one size foundation and I LOVE IT but the cool tones are completely orange as usual! I even tried adding blue pigment to it and it’s not going well. I’m so sad, it’s such a gorgeous foundation but I look like a total pumpkin face and the neutral shades are way too yellow. No 7 is the ONLY brand that does cool tones right. I’ve been using Shade & Illuminate for years, and of course they discontinued it. I actually like the new serum foundation but they dropped my shade!! Cool beige. Aggggh! No 7 is so underrated!
When I used the L’Oréal setting spray it felt like it was burning my skin. Now it is just sitting on table doing nothing lol. Thank you. For this video lots of information.❤❤❤
I think All of the Jane Iredale lip gloss colors looked stunning on you even though i personally wouldn't purchase. Milani is my FAV Drugstore brand almost everything is a win in this line! Thanks for vid dear very fun to watch 💜
I was waiting for a video from you tomorrow, so nice surprise! I wanted to ask if you talked about a concealer a while back that had a glass container and if so, what kind was it? If you recall, I’d appreciate the info. I looked through some of your past videos, but couldn’t find it. Thanks and now I’ll watch this video! Yay! 😊
Kind of unrelated but after watching your video about one and done eyeshadows, I revisited an older palette in my collection and found a shade I’m obsessed with. I wore it today as a one and done and loved the way it looked.
I saw Lisa J review the Jane Iredale glosses and I was so impressed. Love to hear you like the formula as well! My only hesitation is the price tag. Maybe I’ll wait for a sale. 😊
Jen you are correct about the L’Oréal spray must however I live on my arms or chest when I put bronzer on and does it stay and not get on your clothes but not for my face. Love your channel
Looking great today Jen, see blue shadow is fun makes eyes look big for fun Blue Mascara Loreal colbalt blue you've got good lashes so easy does it. . I adore YSL Mascara, to expensive now for me.
You can still wear the fabulous ColourPop Super Shock Glitter Shadows if you apply the NYX Glitter Glue to your lids first. Nothing compares to ColourPop's Super Shock Shadows!
I’ve been loving that One Size foundation a lot as well. It’s really beautiful and lasts a long time. I got 20R and it didn’t pull orange or yellow on me at all.
Yes, the L'Oreal infallible setting spray is definitely like hairspray! It works well for me as long as I protect my eyebrows or they get that hairspray gunk ion them. It's so much cheaper than the One Size.
Hi 👋 Jen, you look stunning 🩷...the color of your sweater and makeup is perfect for you....looking forward to trying the Milani blushes. ..as always great video, blessings 🙌
I love Colourpop products especially their palettes. I love the large ones and have lots of small ones too. I really like the lip oils and glosses you are showing especially Allie Glines line. Thank you so much Jen for a great video and the reviews are so helpful to me. I appreciate all of the work you do to bring good content to us each video. I enjoy your videos so much Jen.🥰💕💗❤🤍🌹🥀🌺🌸💐
Thank you Jen, you look stunning with this white blazer, suits you very well ! Moira is a good company ? I wanted to buy a few cream blushes they look perfect on my screen 😊 have a good Sunday ahead 🎉
I love the new L’Oreal 3 Second Setting Spray. It even plays well with serum foundations and layers of glowy/dewy setting spray between layers. The only draw back is the fragrance like a mild hair spray. I do find that it locks in the makeup and there is no transfer on to clothing. I have been very pleased-on the 3rd can. I prefer L’Oreal to the Morphe, Milani, Tarte, and MAC, Merle Norman,
Another great video Jen! I wish that cream blushes would work for me (60) I have tried many they just do not last at all like a good powder blush I agree on the lipsticks sets from color pop way to dark for the collection thank you for this video
Jen, Try No7 Illuminate and Lift in Cool Vanilla. I'm a cool also, and most foundations are too yellow for me!! Thanks for your honest opinions!! I just saw where you have tried No7.
Hi Jen ! Your reviews are very helpful since I also have dry skin and a similar skin tone to yours but maybe 1 shade darker ❤ I’m so glad that I’ve recently subscribed to your channel. Have a great weekend ❤
OMG ! As soon as I saw you in this video I thought you looked amazingly beautiful ❤ More so than usual , if I were you I’d go buy another Frosty Colorpop palette ! Its totally YOUR best look ever 🎉
Regarding the Loreal setting spray, for the mist issue and not having it to be continuous, do you think if we transferred the liquid into an actual spray bottle, it would work alright? I know that wouldn't fix the smell problem for those that may have an issue with that, but it would at least fix the continuous spray part so we don't have to breathe in or have so much on our face? Regarding the Milani liquud cheek blush, I rip off the sponge tips and just squeeze out the product. Lol! I actually do that with any and all of my products that have a sponge tip cause they can breed bacteria ( just like your kitchen sponges, it can breed bacteria. ) So for me, I just don't want to take a chance. Also Jen, I bought the Doll 10 eyeshadow palettes ( Doll Squad palette 3.0 ) that you said is a good substitute or dupe to the new Mb Mario palette and I got another palette by Doll 10 too ( it was a The Enchanting eyes palette. )
The frosty collection is so cute!! Lol I bet loreal just took some old hairspray that wasn’t selling well and bottled it up and labeled it a setting spray 😂
I HATE the new L’Oreal setting spray. I don’t understand how this works for other people. Every single time I’ve used it no matter how far away I spray it, it ends up making my makeup peel off like literally a peel off face mask.
L’Oréal setting spray is a holy grail for me. Oh, it is definitely like spraying hairspray and that sucks but what is amazing about it is that I can spray it around my jawline and onto my neck and my shirts don’t get makeup on them! I don’t think it is intended to be pleasant to use and necessarily make you makeup last longer. In fact, I use a setting spray first to melt all my makeup together and then use this to lock it down so when I go in to hug someone or my jacket collar rubs against my face it doesn’t transfer my makeup.
I absolutely LOVE the L’Oréal “ hairspray for the face” setting spray lol. I do have relatively oily skin though and it really makes my make up last all day long. I can tell a big difference when I don’t wear it. I just hold my breath when I spray it but really the rather aggressiveness of it doesn’t bother me at all. I just love the way it looks and the way it works. I like it way better than the high-end version. I ordered that one but I sent it back because it looked so powdery. Why are companies not making cool toned more pinkish under toned foundations? They sure are not worried about making them yellow that’s for sure !!! 😎
Jen, you are the 3rd or 4th person I have heard call it hairspray like!! And I thought the same exact thing, the smell also for me was not what I wanted.
I use the Loreal only on my neckish area or jawline to keep makeup from getting on my shirt. I wouldn't spray it on my face though. In yoga I always got "ring around the collar" when going into a dog until this product✌️
Do the Frosty collection glosses have a scent? I was so close to buying a couple colors of those Moira blushes. Glad I didn't. And thanks for reviewing the LYS foundation stick that was something else I was looking at. My Haus Labs foundation is nearly empty and I'm looking to try something new. But it has to be fragrance free and light to medium coverage. (I just use less of the Haus Labs to make that work.) Also, I unfortunately still have to wear a mask (I can't even eat raw fruits or vegetables my immune system is so suppressed) so I need something that lasts. I'd love suggestions.
Hi Jen ❤ so many nice products! I recently purchased the new Sephora collection The Amazing Eyeshadow palette in Soft Lights (they have one more) and I have to say it feels like ND quality for only $40 😮 and it will be 30% off during the upcoming Sephora sale. I'm not so sure that many people have come across this palette yet, but I personally think it's amazing and it offers different formulas (almost a mix of Huda and ND). Have you seen it?
