About the violin shaped bag, Brett says that the proportions are not accurate, however this looks like a baroque violin. My teacher showed me an old one that her violin repair shop lended her while repairing her violin. The shape was really different from nowadays violins.

8:05 anyone else think it would look better if the dark bit they have as a handle was just one long strap? Like if you put that over your shoulder, sure it’d still be too long to be proportional but at least it wouldn’t look squat (and little handle looks redundant while you’re wearing it).

Hahahahahaha, I was at college with the guy who had that pool built behind his house. MIT chemical engineer who ended up on Wall Street, poor bastard. Last time I saw him, fifteen years ago (before his pool adventure), he was negotiating with a NY dealer to buy a Strad. (No idea if he ever did buy it.) He's apparently since sold the house . . . and who can blame him?
