Absolutely yes, I remember being at a festival and seeing these kids who were about 15 years my junior saying “Ih man this takes me back to the old days…” so I couldn’t help myself from saying that I was very young when these guys (Ratpack) were doing the rounds the first time around and I missed a lot of what they did then so how were you anything to do with the old school when you look as if you are still in school now?” 🤷🏽♂️
That was supposed to be held in knebworth but the council decided that residents were “scared” by the name, so it was held in Witshire. A few years later, Hertfordshire had United Dance in Stevenage. Real OG’s
Dreamscape, Heltah Skelta, Bagleys, The sanctuary in Milton Keynes, Technics and pioneer bomber jackets, DJ slipmatt, Tape packs, walls covered with Flyers!, £15 for a Q of squidgy black 😂❤️ oh sweet nostalgia
i was born in 74 so I got to experience the early 90s raves. omg i use to love going to fantasy Island in Skegness uk. the Q club in Birmingham and the Red zone in derby. brilliant times🎉🎉
How the fuck you managed to do that is beyond a miracle! Those nights were 8 to 10 hrs long!! Even longer at dreamscape and helter-skelter... but If you did manage it you have my upmost respect 🙌 👏👏👏🤪
Wow, someone mentioned Dance Paradise and Tiffany's! That was me there too! Was there when Ratpack was on and the very first night when Prodigy were playing. There was a highlight video of it and it is on RU-vid I think. Some guy was interviewing Ravers too. On a later night I took my first gram of Billy and hyper ventilated at the end of the night lol. (Found out I just needed to keep myself hydrated). Obviously I gave that up many years ago but man what a rush those nights were! Glad to Hear of some old school ravers from there still around ❤
Off to boardmaster in August 2024 , but nothing like this , never will be anything like the 90's , .music today is decent but i will never forget these times🙌
I do wish that Ratpack would release this tune on iTunes so I could add it my collection of their other tracks that I have purchased because this one is so special to me and my heart ❤️
This has been stuck in my head for days, after Tesco was playing the real version... I'm glad I found it :D maybe I will be finally free from the loop da loops :D
When people could enjoy themselves and not everyone wanted to fight eachother just have fun . These days are sadly gone. Thinking of doing a old school rave all the old hardcore but would people attend? Like or comment if you would
