In case you don't already know it, this is one of the greatest intros of 80s hair metal. Follow it up with the rest of the song, and you're in the greatest generation of music. Nice job man
Riffs like these will always be infinitely more interesting than that one-dimensional, percussive E chord bouncing of most modern metal. There’s so much light and shade to the riff work throughout this whole song, and such a strong sense of melody. Ratt was one of a kind.
"Ratt would ultimately become one of the top-selling and most popular metal acts of the decade, issuing four consecutive platinum albums" He played with Ozzy, Dokken, Bryan Adams, Whitesnake. He's endorsed by one of the worlds leading guitar companies. He's been on the cover of several oft the biggest Guitar Magazines several times. He was booked for several movie soundtracks. "Best guitar player" awards. Many musicians, guitar kings, are praising Demartini over and over again over the years. What you wrote here is utter rubbish. You are just one of the thousands "This guitarist is underrated" commenters that has absolutely no clue what he's talking about or what the word underrated means.
@@rilianriggs4620 Not sure. but warren and robin always had a problem with each other. Who had the lead in a song who came in to the song to late. and to me it always seemed like everyone took up for warren, as for me robin was easy to talk to. Hell i loved that guy didn't even know he was doing drugs. Until the end.
That's awesome! All played perfectly and with authentic sound. The solo was really good considering how hard it is to hear from the original song. This is one of my favorite riffs of all time.
0.56 I'm glad I'm not the only one that hears that note ringing in my ear. Every time I play this song I do that same thing slide up to that note. Cool.
This popped up in my recommended list, and I thought I'd click on it just on a whim. I'm glad I did! You really nailed every part. Well done, and cool old Charvel.
Damn fine work! I'm in the process of re-learning the song on guitar after having played exclusively bass for the last few years. Such a great song. I miss the 80's.
awesome seeing youger genertions sitting in there room on the floor making exact replicas of stuff we could never come close to sounding like and having the talent to pull that off !!!...HAts off to you !!!!
