Why am I getting such a sense of satisfaction from watching this? Well, one thing is I love dogs. But seeing them doing what they are bred to do make sit doubly interesting.
loolll same here is midnight and my flatmates told me to turn down the volume as im since afternoon hahahaha wonder what they being thinking hearing the rats dying XD
Bloody job well done lads..........do a bit of ratting myself with Terriers here in the South West and still amazes me how quick them ole dogs can grab a rat.We smoke them out mainly but like your idea of water in the holes, might be worth a try sometime.
John Echterhoff They're there most of the time, but if the food dries up they'll tend to move away, or not breed as prolifically. Either way, there are a lot!
if within range of a dependable food source, the underground colony can get quite large. young children are prohibited from entering washington d.c.'s capitol park because of how huge the holes are.
Excellent video, I laugh well in your actions, to play golf and especially your dogs who are lively and intelligent, I love the ratiers, thank you for sharing, blue thumb and I subscribe
well, your right, yes from the rats perspective it was. But if you understood the damage these rats cause.. I know no excuse, but something had to be done..and this was there solution.
Those dogs are having a great time! How do you keep your dogs from getting sick? I just saw a documentary about all the parasites and diseases rats carry. It was really disgusting. They even mentioned that England now has a super rat which is now genetically immune to the best poison currently in use. Crazy!
Great fun, takes me back to my youth. The dogs were working well but how many more rats would have been despatched if the humans had just stood back and allowed them to do what they do best. Bloody interfering humans!!! Great fun. I kept hens for years, not for the eggs but for the sport of ratting with terriers. Every night when the hens were put away we’d have two, sometimes more rats. They just kept on coming.
I swear...this looks so fun...especially with great Rat Terriers. It reminds me of Jerry Clower's story of A Rat Killing Story with Jerry's brother Sonny, Uncle Versey, Aunt Pet, Ardell, Bernell, Raynell, W.L., Lanell, Odell, Udell, Marcell, Claude, Newgene, & Clovis...The Ledbetter Family. Jerry Clower was a GREAT clean family oriented Southern comic with great childhood stories of growing up in Amite Co....Rte.4 Liberty Ms. "Knock 'em Out John...It Won't Be Long Now." "Whewww...Shoot This Thing...This Thing Is Killing Me"
I myself have a standard sized Yorkee, and she goes ratting for us on a small farm with eight horses, so there is a lot of grain and comfy hay bales for the rats. She is able to chase them out of holes, and with only her, she catches up to seven rats a day! Keep in mind that this is only a small barn, so she is great at it!
Twiggy was 100% gas on. That dog was made by God for killing rats. That dog probably dreams of rats at night. That picture of all of them lined up at the end was epic. Nicely done to all who took part.
Best weapon of every ratters David B - Twigy Matthew Noal - Smokes (actually all of his terriers are wrecking machines) Severn Valley - Merlin Dylan Bella Thorn
Everytime a dog chops and shackes a rat I somehow get aggressive for a few seconds 😂😂😂 really satisfying how twigy is chewing the bloody crap out of them 👌🏻
