Nothing wrong with trying. Keep on experimenting you’ll get it down. I’ve seen some really good rattle can paint jobs. Ignore these haters too, they probably had their butler take their cars to a professional.
There’s no hating about it… There is a reason why the industry has been doing it the way that they have… It works. Why in God‘s name would you want to rattle can a car when you can get a cheap compressor, a cheap gun, cheap paint, and cheap clear (All for under $500) and have a much better looking and durable paint job… I’ve been doing collision work (prepping and painting) for over 20 years and while my one base gun cost $700 I’ll be the first to say, even a $30 gun will spray much better than a rattle can. Not to mention taking five weeks to do a paint job and still only get half of the car done?
Auto body is something you definitely have to be patient with, especially with rattle cans. Gravity guns do way better with paint. Video author might want to consider next time.
New to the channel its awesome how you use sign language to express your ok you win you kicked my ass . (1;17) LOL yeah don't know why the color yellow always gives me a hard time to. I've painted Tonka trucks & it takes forever to dry. Shaking the fking can for more then a min. I have no fking patience for that. The cars do look kick ass try a spray gun it does work much better.
Should’ve kept the paint red. I would’ve taken it to a professional to get it resprayed it’s a FD bro not just any regular car lol. Now you got that McDonalds spec FD 🤣🙏
Let people do whatever they want with their property. In the end it is just an old car. It's about trying, learning and working on the car, rather than let someone build the perfect car for you
For you it might just be an old car. As a car enthusiast this pains me seeing a perfectly good condition Mazda Fd getting a shitty paint job when in reality someone who really wanted this car would have gave it a proper paint job that it deserves. Sure it’s there property and they can do whatever they want to it but that’s why comments exist and that’s exactly what I’m doing just expressing my opinion.
It’s not negative, I found it very humorous but It seems you didn’t. Your second part to your comment is implying that I only know a lot about cars and like the aesthetic? Of what? I’m not only a car enthusiast but a mechanic who built his own car. It’s a comment about paint lol my personal car don’t have the best paint either but I’ll be damned if I made it look worse by rattle canning it.
wet sand the orange peel down on the base coat, buff it to gloss, then clean it and spray 2k clear, 2-3 coats then wet sand and buff the clear... that will give u a close af to a factory finish
Paint it some how. Maybe if the guilt finaly gets you hang up some tarps around catport to catch moat dust and over spray and to block some wind can use bricks to hold it from flapping in wind
😂while I do agree with you....I've spray canned my hood n bumper🤦🏾♂️ it actually looks pretty good. After sanding n buffing...but nothing like a paint gun
Spray guns are unmatched, but depending on prep work and method, you can get pretty good results with spray cans with no orange peeling even on something as small as Hot Wheels cars
No, you aren’t too smart of you say that. I have done body work in tractors and every single one of them uses the brand Bondo. You don’t see any tractors rusting do you?
All that work prepping and making that booth for crap work. For paint you really Should not cheap out. Why not invest in a $100 hvlp paint gun and a small air compressor. Such a waste of a rx7 😓
Theres no such thing as wrong car. It is his car. If he decides to off-road it, he can. If he want it pink, he can. It's his property. He's not building it for someone else
@Deathwish708 There absolutely is. I'll put money on it the value on it has went down. Your comment shows me you don't think big. Successful people always take into Consideration of future value.. i.e. what others think. Brokie mentality.
@@andydhillon1977 Show me your millions then 🤡 only people who cant afford such a car think it is something very special. I have a Nissan r33 GTR and i floor it when i want to. I put a big wing on it if i want to. When i buy something for value, i dont choose an old 90s car
@@andydhillon1977 succesful people stay true to what brings them joy regardless of what other people think, or in consideration of future value. you got sheep mentality
