At 182,000 km (113,000 miles) this car's dual mass flywheel has pretty much ran its course. Sound with window down. But is it the DMF really, or is the clutch bearing on its way out?
Engine is Volvo B4204S4 a.k.a. Ford Duratec HE with MTX75 gearbox
UPDATE: DMF, clutch bearing, pressure plate and clutch have been replaced at 185,000 km. Almost all friction material of the clutch was gone, DMF was very rattly, clutch bearing was indeed on its way out and the crankshaft seal needed replacement as well. Repair bill was almost €2000 💸💸💸
As a result, the clutch is now SMOOTH with a capital SMOO! 😎
