I loved that tall tale about being your Amazon account being hacked. Amazon not only owns their own online retail website AWS servers, AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers also host Express VPN. So you were obviously hacked by an Amazon Web Services employee or Express VPN employee as AWS's Secure Socket Layer is more robust than Express VPN's software sitting on the AWS servers... You should have thought your fib through.
Not a rattlesnake, its either a gopher snake or a rat snake. Either way, good to have around to help control the rodents. Also, make sure that AC is slightly tilted toward the outside, its required in order for the unit to shed excess water.
@@handsonwithblg4949 Neither do rattlers... they almost never survive encounters with humans... if you watch your feet and don't step on one, you'll be ok... ;)
Eric, I'm here, at your driveway with 12 of my closest friends; I smelled the bbq steaks and had to stop, you don't mind, right, is the jacuzzi ready? 🥩 🤷♀️😂 Hope you're keeping an eye out for drones, those can't read either. Lord.
Eric, leave a tote of water outside further down your property for the Wildlife don't forget they need water too the birds the squirrels all God's creatures ❤
In California that is a gopher snake. Don't kill it. Rattlesnakes have a very triangled head. Even baby rattlers have little buttons, other snakes tail come to a sharp tip.
If you're gonna be an Arizonan, you'll learn to appreciate and look forward to the Monsoon season. The hotter it gets the more likely a storm will develop in the afternoon. Good thing about them is it definitely cools it off after a storm. But they are usually short lived, they can cause damage but they give the absolute most beautiful sunsets.. I ❤ Arizona 🌵
We got some rain. We had to put everything away. In a rush. It was still hot while it was raining. The temperature went down maybe 5°. It was still hot.
I’ve been running this exact air conditioner since last year off my solar system completely. It’s the quietest most energy, efficient window air conditioner I could find. I highly recommend it.
It was 101 degrees last night at 11:30 PM, here in the valley near Apache Junction AZ! My trees are tuning brown and dropping leaves like mad even though I water all the time. It's bad.
Thunderstorm last night was nice I heard Mesa has some wind damage I'm in North Phoenix only wind and lighting show hope this weekend we get some rain need to cool down been a rough month.
Eric, I am so sorry about the hacking. Not only am I hacked but I am being electronically harassed. It's the worst thing ever. My PC & iPhone seem to work on their own as the strangest things happen with devices that are used to electronically harass people & their electronics & life. Stay safe out there & love seeing the TOTs. Thank you for all the great videos. Aloha & Mahalo.
That a/c is nice. I can’t believe people would just show up at your house or anyone’s home unannounced. That’s crazy. We’re glad that you have the security set up on your property. It is true, “when it rains, it pours” it seems like everything goes out at once. Can’t wait to see what you do to replace it. You’re doing great! Keep up the good work. God bless you and the littles.
The bigger Tig gets, the more convinced I am he’s from the same family as my son Zac’s dog, Ziggy. He adopted him from a woman named Ashlee out by the Y. They sure look a lot alike, and they’re great dogs!
Hey Eric, I was thinking I know I know…lol what a solar powered exhaust fan, help lower the temperature in your blue box and the other buildings just an idea. I did it on my house and it helped out with my electrical bills and help keep my attic cooler.🤷♂️
Septic is the ONLY way to dispose of sewage.... there's no city plumbing out on those more remote properties. I know folks in Buckeye out west of Phoenix that have been on septic for 7-8 years. Put one RidX tab down the john a month, voila. The tank hasn't needed a clean out in the entire time my friend has lived there. Why so negative....
I think you misunderstood Tig. He didn't say he was always going to be a baby, he said he was always going to be YOUR baby. lol My last dog who passed away when he was 12 would always get the wiggles whenever I asked him "How is my puppy doing?" regardless of how old he was.
I am literally in the hospital with my son . He got bit this morning by a pygmy rattlesnake. Wish up luck. My son is excited he got to be on the news tonight
Grew up in Phoenix and life out there was going from home ac to car ac to business ac to movie ac. Lakes and rivers were swimming events. Pools would get so hot they had coolers spraying day and night. The spray misters maybe something you may look into for your movie theater. Squirt guns were VERY popular out there too. Bigger is better when the water wars started. 👍😁😂
Check the internet and it looks like a gopher snake. Look at the head shape and you can tell it's not the triangle shape of a rattlesnake. I live in Iowa and it's HOT here too. The heat index is 105 to 110 and the actual temp tomorrow will be around 100.
My friend, Arizona is a free range state and if you don’t have a fence and a gate with a no trespassing sign, when people come on to your land, “it’s your fault” for neglecting to fence your property.
@@carolmaplesden916 it is a very old law, enacted to protect the cattle men, their cattle can run roughshod all over your land and the cowboys as well unless you have your land fenced, we have over 15,000 feet of fence and cross fence to keep our neighbors cattle off our land. Good fences make for good neighbors.
@@OldcampRanch yeah i remember those old movies from back in the day of the battle between cattle Men and farmers the first putting up of fences but there is supposed to be something about what the law was intended for not always the letter of the law if you know Jesus then you should understand what I am saying no one belive you me wants their justice Jesus says He did not come to do away with the law the mosaic law but Jesus came to fulfill the law can you site what that fullfilment is
Thanks for the tip on the ac. I hope things get back to normal soon for you. I have one ac unit out at the moment. It’s always something in the RV but it still gives us freedom and beautiful views
I bought that window ac unit in late May and it is a life saver. It sips electricity and is very user friendly. I can turn it on before coming home so the room it cools is chilly when I get home. Keep the air filter clean and it will serve you well.
Yikes!!! Well at least it wasn’t in your home!! I had a 4 ft bull snake in my house!!! Sticks and bricks house. My dog was going nuts, got her outside, neighbors to my rescue….at least corner him in the bathroom. Called animal control and they got him. He told us he was a male adult. 🫨😬😬😰😰 Scared that you know what out of me for sure I am terrified of snakes. Watch out for Tig and kitties !! I know you do …. Good to have security - you just never know. Hope you get things fixed soon. Hot here in Denver but not like what you are dealing with. Be safe and hydrate !! Hugs
In North America if a snake has slit pupils, it is venomous. If it has Round pupils it is non-venomous. If you both are gazing into each others eyes, it is perfectly appropriate to give her a kiss.
You might consider having an RV carport built to protect from the brutal and damaging sun/rain/hail, etc. Get one large enough to park the vehicle(s) as well under. Eagle Carports, Carolina Carports, etc. will come out, build it, and move on for fairly reasonable price and that protection is priceless.
That's a wonderful AC unit. Good to know ! The first shot of the snake sure looked like a diamond back rattler and I thought I could hear it rattling but then the next shot, the snake seemed to have a different pattern on its back. I really don't know what it was but I hope you get Tig vaxxed for rattlesnakes. It's a must for us in the deserts. It's wicked hot here in Elephant Butte, NM too. I've never seen so many over-100 days in a row, with zero afternoon and evening rain to dramatically drop the temps for the night. We're even breaking overnight low temps cause we are still so warm by the time the sun comes up. Hang in there, Eric. It's all we can do. I'm glad you're set up so well, but you're also very good at rolling with the punches.
I hope you give that snake a saucer of water, he may be beneficial in getting rid of the rodents. And TIG said he would like a kid's wading pool for him and his friends, a little bird told me so.
Characteristics of the poisonous Western Diamondback Rattlesnake include: Diamond Pattern: The snake's back features a series of diamond-shaped patterns outlined by darker-colored scales. These diamonds often have lighter centers, giving the snake a distinct appearance. Rattles: As with other rattlesnakes, the Western Diamondback has a rattle on the end of its tail. It uses this rattle as a warning mechanism to deter potential threats. Coloration: The coloration of Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes can vary, but they generally have a base color ranging from light gray to brown or olive, with darker diamond patterns running down their backs. Size: These rattlesnakes can grow to impressive lengths, often reaching 3 to 5 feet in total length, with some individuals occasionally exceeding 6 feet. Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes are found in various habitats throughout Arizona, including deserts, grasslands, rocky outcrops, and scrublands. They are ambush predators, often lying in wait for their prey, which includes small mammals, birds, and sometimes even other reptiles.
I have some good advice that will save you trouble later. You will notice that nothing accumulates on the condenser. No dust, leaves, bugs, nothing. Because it is blowing out from the inside. On the surface you think "why is that a problem?" Because all the dust, leaves, bugs, etc is being sucked into those wide louvers on the sides and top. We have cottonwood trees, and one season completely covered the inside of the coils. I had to take two new window units apart, and modify the fan shroud(*cut a big hole) just to get to the crud to remove it. Then I put window screen mesh over the large louvers. It likely wont stop all of the build up, but it does stop all the cottonwood and leaves.
You could look to add gutters to your sheds and then capture the rain water into your tanks. Would suggest you get a 2nd tank if you can and if it's bigger then sweet happy days
Howdy neighbor. In your list of security you mentioned the most important at the top of your list, I mean, this is Arizona ;). But here also, the last part of your list should be: " . . . and I know people who own backhoes." GGG. Oh yeah, rattlesnakes have a very distinctive head shape and babies are born with rattles. When I run across one, I just think, hmm, hatband, lol.
Hang in there Eric you've been hit with one thing after the next lately, always remember it's just a moment in time, it will pass. Relax a bit you don't always have to entertain, just be you and enjoy life. Bless you and the babies. Stay cool. Maybe get a second ac for babe the blue box and you can hang out in there with all your collections. Put it permanently into the wall . Keep smiling 😊
Yes we had the occasional high temp years ago but now it's over 110 every day. Day in and day out, and the OVER NIGHT temps never go below 90! It's Hellish. I lived here 25 years, and this is the worst it's ever been.
When the Sony overheated and you switch to the Go pro, i tough wow that's better! Wider field of view, more color/sharpness and better microphone, the Sony mic sound like you are talking in a mic and the Go pro sound more clear and natural. Just my opinion.
He's a sneaky snake oh yes he is!.....but not a venomous one. If their pupils are round, they're OK. If they're slitted, watch out Jack! Those can ruin your day!
The poisonous snakes usually have a square block looking head and they have the evil slit eye. That little fellow has beady round eyes and no pitbull looking head, so very likely not poisonous. I'd keep him around to keep the rat population down.
Lamar, from the "Solar Cabin" channel, runs his swamp cooler off his solar batteries. They also have battery-operated rechargeable air conditioners. Montana Danna recently got one and is very happy with it.
Gopher and bull snakes have same pattern at diamondback and Mojave rattlesnakes. The real determiner is shape of head. Triangular head for rattlers. Bull and gopher snakes are good to have around to reduce rodent population.
I have a similar RV and insulation is just terrible, I increased it by 3/4” inch and it does help (makes it quieter too) the windows are another issue and I will be working on that soon. My plan is to be able to run at 8000-10,000 btu and cool the whole area which i can do if I have reflective stuff on the windows, that is also why i am changing/modifying the windows. The goal here is to be self sufficient with solar ( am in Florida).
Eric ... relating to Tig's situation 8-5-23 ... no worries... a man has to know his limitations ... not just relating to what he CAN do but, one has to consider His comfort zone along with the reality of the effect on others ... you acted very responsibly!
Hey Eric, we came back to the PNW. It’s only 88’ here. It hasn’t been real hot here this year. We may get hot weather soon, but we can always go to the coast the get relief from the heat. Sometimes it’s nice to leave the heat and find cool air
I found myself in the same situation.. no a/c ... in my small home (600 sq ft)... Window unit an blocked the unused areas with plastic I bought at Home Depot .. a roll from the paint section .. about $10.00. It was easier to secure over the door.. and I could see thru to the other room .. and as I doubled it across itself in the middle I could pass thru easily when I needed to get into the blocked section and my cat an dog could "see" they could go back and forth as they needed as well. Like the plastic much better than the blankets..
Closer shots of the eye would help, and a good shot of the tail as well, but that looks to be a gopher snake. We have them around, and if it is a gopher snake they are harmless and good to have around.
Your doing great!! I live in Page, Lake Powell, it's all sand and sandstone!! Freaking HOT 🥵 Tig is definitely growing fast and so dang cute 🥰 Hang in there!!
Glad you have all that security. Heat wave has hit us here in SW Ohio, with Friday heat index of 105! Going to get some short yard work done early Fri. as I am off. I am behind at 71 and all alone.
Film another local potfarm production facility /walk thru. You need to start doing bong hits at the start of every video ! You will be at 900k subs in no time !
Queen We'dBee is buzz'n on my videos because it is part of my life to help me create content but I don't think that's Eric's style. His creativity in the art of video making gets my attention. But, We'dBee wish'n we could BEE at a party with Eric & friends BEEcause they'd BEE having fun. Hope your day is buzz'n with aloha🐝💨
Okay, Eric, come back to Washington State. We had a tiny bit of rain for the first time in about a month-and-a-half and we needed it. You can park in my driveway, I live in OS where you knocked your tooth out. No charge but I probably won't cook for you as I am old as the hills. I don't see any sense in fighting the extreme environmental conditions. Tig and the kitties would be most welcome because I had to put my beloved Charlie down a few months ago.
Eric, if, that is if, you could find an Mitsibichie mini split installer to install one in an RV, you could get to seer 34, also with heat. That would probably double the efficiency of that current AC unit. Then cool the entire rig… topping out at about 40,000 BTU’s for the same energy, turn that place into an ice box. All the best. That is a multi speed compressor/ multi speed fan running 24/7, the most efficient HVAC on the planet. What you have now is a SEER 15, seen them in Costco, you can double efficiency again with Mitsubitie…sp
Critters ♥♥♥♥♥, treats and tummy rubs (although I'd be very careful giving Rory the Rattler a tummy rub. Besides, they get tummy rubs every time they travel).
It’s a Diamondback. See the diamond shapes on its back? I am a native Arizonan, and had to catch snakes while on the fire dept. Enjoying highs of 79 here n/w of Flagstaff.
No diamonds, No rattle, no triangular snout, no slit pupils, no hooded eyes. Your not very good at identifying the aspects of a venomous snake, especially the Diamondback. It's a cute little Gopher Snake, most likely Pituophis catenifer affinis.
Hello Erin and your Sweet furbabies 😊 wow that is hot. There its been in the 100s here in Amarillo Texas Yikes 😬 Yes you need becareful with people showing up at your door. ... 😮...Give Tara and Opie Tigg a hug 🤗 stay safe out there on the roads Take care God bless you guys keep cool 😎 Your friends Gerry and Pat from Amarillo Texas 🍺🍺🍺🏠🏠🏠🏠😺😺🐕🐕🍺🍺🍺
I sure hope that heat isn’t melting the Mickey collection. Looks like that AC is a great choice. RV ac units are a joke. Ours wouldn’t keep up to any heat! Keep on keeping on!
