We are back at the Raurimu Spiral to once again watch the Glenbrook Vintage Railway's 'Discover Ruapehu Rail Tour' traverse the famous piece of rail engineering. This time, DBR 1254 hauls the full GVR set of carriages up the Spiral in stunning weather as we see the Tongariro National Park in full display in the background, complete with Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe & Mt Tongariro basking in the sun - reminding us who's in charge.
Video is complete with a bonus shot of the train crossing the mighty Makatote Viaduct.
