My 2019 rav 4 hybrid sucks in the snow it skids so bad i never had that in my prius 4 it was great in snow and my exsplorer was gread in snow is there somthing or the seattings i dont have right in this rav
It's good! In most cases more than enough! However if you are stuck and trying to move from a point of a full stop, the car is acting more like FWD, than AWD. On a slippery conditions RAV4 is really very stable and you feel that AWD is helping you a lot. For everyday use AWD is amazing, but not good for off-roading (snow is not a problem). I would choose a car with conventional driveshaft if you do a lot of offroading.
Thanks. I'm considering one for my wife. IT would be mostly snow/ice, nothing serious. We do have a 2004 Sienna AWD which have the older AWD system as the rear differential is engaged at all time and its amazing in the snow.
Under snow, sand and in Offroad it's amazing. just see my photo with my AWD hybrid RAV4. I crossed a ford of 80 cm without problem. The batteries are well water insulated.
It's very different system. AWD gas is with a bridge and a viscous coupler, An hybrid is a front electric motor and another independent at the back, the allocation of the power F/B is managed by the computer.
ujyphiladm8 You can't drive is all...my 2 RAV4'S go like tanks. Say what you want but, I have snow videos of proof. Snow tires make A huge difference 😙
